To achieve the Mayor’s vision for the environment, the GLA develops and delivers a set of results-focused programmes. These programmes also create jobs and attract investment in areas such as waste recycling, water, green infrastructure, energy and the low carbon and green economy.
RE:FIT and RE:NEW are the Mayor of London award-winning programmes to help make London homes, non-domestic buildings and assets more energy efficient by cutting carbon emissions and energy bills. These programmes support organisations to develop and bring their energy efficiency projects to market.
The Mayor’s DEPDU Successor programme – 50% funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) - is set up to support the Mayor’s target of 25 per cent of London’s energy to be generated through Decentralised Energy (DE) by 2025. There are 350 public bodies, from small offices, 3rd level, hospitals, charities, local authorities, transport, up to large semi state companies. It also includes 3800 schools. SEAI offers a number of supports, from energy management, to training, networking, innovative capital grants for project development and implementation, and more recently deeper coordination supports at technology and sectoral levels to develop a national project pipeline. Public bodies must report to SEAI annually on their energy performance. They do this on an online system called Monitoring and Reporting (M&R). Over 95% of public bodies reported last year and 62% of schools. This data forms the basis of targets on government departments and their aegis public bodies. The data is being used to develop the project pipeline, identify the gap to target in organisations and planning the projects to close the gap. Collectively the programme supports the implementation of the National Public Sector Energy Efficiency Strategy.

Energy Show 2022 - Deep Retrofit, Insulation and Recovery PlanSustainableEnergyAut
The National Insulation Association of Ireland (NIAI) will host a seminar during the SEAI Energy Show (RDS, 30-31 March 2022) on the importance of deep retrofit and how a fabric first approach incorporation insulation is essential to realise Ireland's energy and carbon reduction targets. Other key factors that are an essential part of the overall package, such as airtightness and new technologies, will also be discussed.
This seminar is an integral part of the programme and complements the best practice insulation demonstration that will take place on the dedicated Demonstration Arena on the Show Floor.

This is a stakeholder engagement webinar in relation to identifying a suitable energy education service provider(s), to provide Management and Administrative Services to support the delivery of the SEAI School Workshop Programme.
Diabetes is a rapidly and serious health problem in Pakistan. This chronic condition is associated with serious long-term complications, including higher risk of heart disease and stroke. Aggressive treatment of hypertension and hyperlipideamia can result in a substantial reduction in cardiovascular events in patients with diabetes 1. Consequently pharmacist-led diabetes cardiovascular risk (DCVR) clinics have been established in both primary and secondary care sites in NHS Lothian during the past five years. An audit of the pharmaceutical care delivery at the clinics was conducted in order to evaluate practice and to standardize the pharmacists’ documentation of outcomes. Pharmaceutical care issues (PCI) and patient details were collected both prospectively and retrospectively from three DCVR clinics. The PCI`s were categorized according to a triangularised system consisting of multiple categories. These were ‘checks’, ‘changes’ (‘change in drug therapy process’ and ‘change in drug therapy’), ‘drug therapy problems’ and ‘quality assurance descriptors’ (‘timer perspective’ and ‘degree of change’). A verified medication assessment tool (MAT) for patients with chronic cardiovascular disease was applied to the patients from one of the clinics. The tool was used to quantify PCI`s and pharmacist actions that were centered on implementing or enforcing clinical guideline standards. A database was developed to be used as an assessment tool and to standardize the documentation of achievement of outcomes. Feedback on the audit of the pharmaceutical care delivery and the database was received from the DCVR clinic pharmacist at a focus group meeting.
