1.)Introduction
1.1)Project Background
Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus has a lot of facilities such as residential area,
campus and “The Broadwalk”. However, there are still some problems faced by the
students there were food were too expensive and they decide to cook by their own. But
they can’t found any cooking material in or near the campus, the nearest location is
Sunway Pyramid which is crowd and full with traffic, it was hard for them to travel there
just to buy cooking material. So, we decide to build a shopping mall near the campus
beside “The Broadwalk”.
1.2)Project Description
This building name is “Smart”, because S stands for super and Mart stands for market.
Besides it was also considered as a smart supermarket because it combines kitchen and
supermarket. This building used an amount of 50m X 50m of space. This building was
faced to the campus because it was a beautiful view. It was such a waste by leaving a
beautiful lake without using the space wisely.
The main reason of this building is to provide student to have a nearer place to buy food
materials and able to cook and prepare their meal in the mall instead of going back to
the residential block to cook because it is too labor.
This building is facing to the campus because it has such beautiful view. This building’s
landscape also build to enhance the view of the campus and the building area. The
name of the landscape of this building is “Eye of Taylor’s”. It because it was a shape of
an human-being’s eye on the lake and it was located in Taylor’s University so that how
the name comes from.

Taylor’s Lakeside University. The building consists of two stories activities blocks. Xxx total build
up area of this building is SMART m.sq.
3.1) Risk
As this project is build beside the lake, and is sit on low land, therefore, special attention and
precaution need to take into account at design stage and during construction of foundation.
Flooding: This project is build beside the lake, when raining the site will flood and this will slow
down the project for just doing pump water.
Funding: The project will slow down, postpone or even abounded if the funding is not enough.
Approval: The authority’s approval will affect the project. In case the project do not been
approving by the authority, the project will not carried out.
Labor: Lack of labor also the risk of the project. If there is no enough labor to do work, it will
affect the schedule of construction.
3.2) Constraint

lake during the construction work. The sound of the construction will also affect the surrounding
of people activities such as study, rest and working.
Weather: The weather will make the project slow down and cannot follow the schedule working.
Safety: The safeties of construction of surrounding will hard guaranties. This is because the
material and the process of construction might be danger to those people passed by.
3.3) Assumption
