This training presentation provides an overview of how to use a Smart Board for teachers. It will be a 6 hour training over 3 days. The training will cover the advantages of Smart Boards, their applications and tools, and how to incorporate them into lesson planning. It will include tutorial videos on using the basic functions and numerous applications of the Smart Board. Student feedback suggests Smart Boards engage students and support different learning styles.

 This training is for the teachers in my school to enable them to fully utilize
the smart board application.
 The training will be on how to implement the smart board with its
applications and functions to assist both teachers and students.
 The duration of this training will be for 6 hours split into 3 days; 2 hours a
day for 3 days.

An Overview:
 SMART Board is an interactive whiteboard developed by SMART
Technologies. When introduced in 1991, it was the first interactive
whiteboard to provide touch control of computer applications and
annotation over standard Microsoft Windows applications.
 The SMART Board digital ink operates by using an active digitizer that
controls the PC input for writing capabilities such as drawing or
handwriting. The SMART Board uses passive pen tools, which means that
no technology is housed in the pen tool to use digital ink or determine
color. All digital ink options can be selected from the SMART Board Pen
Tray.
 Big screen to watch movies, easy to write on, arrange, add images, use
digital ink for smooth writing and enjoy the colors you want.
