Jessie Bourke experimented with magazine design elements like blurring images to draw readers in and using minimal text. For the final product, she plans to include the blur effect to engage readers and test different color themes. She also experimented with a double page spread in InDesign and found it simple. For her final magazine, she will use more photos and topics rather than extensive text to keep readers interested.

2. Front Cover Process
• During the process of the
mock cover I came up with
idea of blurring and making
the images hard to see so the
audience are drawn more to
see what the photo is really
like.
• I also used little text as the
audience wont read to much
they pay more to what they
are looking at

• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– I will use the blur effect as it may draw people in
to read my magazine.
– The dark theme is a possibility but I may use a
more bright theme I could create two of the same
design and see how it turns out
