1) The document describes the processes taken to create the front cover and double page spread for an article on Kobe Bryant. For the front cover, text was styled and a shadow was added, then the image vibrance was adjusted and a purple rectangle with contrasting yellow text was overlaid. 2) For the double page spread, the background image was imported and edited to make text stand out, then an element was extracted and placed in the center. 3) Elements to be included in the final product are similar action shot images, and reusing the same color scheme developed in the experiments.

2. Front Cover Process
First I typed the mast head then changed the text
to Helvetica and changed it to purple then I
added a drop shadow to make the writing stand
out . I then changed the vibrance of the image to
make the bright colors brighter. Then added a
purple rectangle, angled it to look more
professional and wrote y text in yellow to contrast
the purple and go with the uniform Kobe is
wearing as he is the main focus of the image and
article

3. Reflection
• I will use the the same process for deciding
the colour scheme and editing the photo
changing saturation and vibrance

4. Double Page Process
First I had to find the image
to use for the background,
once I found it I imported it
into Photoshop to edit the
image. I changed the
saturation to make the text
stand out over the image and
for the text to not blend with
yellow of the jersey. Then I
found an image with
ShowTime on it then used
the eraser tool to erase the
rest of the image then
carried what's left onto the
middle of the page

• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• I will use similar action shot images for my
front cover and double page spread.
• I will use the same colour scheme as my
experiments.
