2. Keyframe masking
โข I wanted to learn how to keyframe masking, so I learnt how to do it and did a rough cut around a kit shape I had in some random footage I had. This has shown me
that masking around a shape and be very difficult and take a lot of time, for this reaosn I want to practice it more and find out if there are more effeicient ways to
mask around shapes to make transitions. I think that I may be able to do this more effeciently in aftereffects.

4. Muffling the audio
โข I found out how to muffle sounds in premier pro by editing the lowpass of the audio and cutting out the high ends. I found this confusing at first because there was
so many steps, but now I undestand the different steps and I find it very easy. I thinkt his will be very useful to me in the future for sound effecs or flash back
footage or to make things seem dreemy.

5. Reverb
โข I found out that you could add reverb to things in premiere by adding the surround reverb effect and then turning up the gain. This is very useful to me because
form this I learnt how to change the volume of audio and how to add reverb, and I got to explore the different reverbs you can get in premiere which will be useful
for different sound effects in things that I make in the future and will help me out a lot with audio.

6. Creating a distorted fade out effect
โข I changed lots of color settings and opacity settings and made the gradually get stronger over time to create a halusanagenic effect. I think that this is going to be
useful to me in the future because I learnt a lot about the different video effects that I can use to create atmosphere and enduse different emotions with visual
distortion to make people feel uncomfortable or dreamy.
7. Changing colours of objects
โข I changed the colours of individual objects and I keyframed the colour changing of the objects and then added warp stabilizer and black bars to make it look slightly
cinematic. This is going to help me in the future because I now I know how luminiety colour works in detail which is going to make it a lot easier to colour grade
and colour correct things in the future. I am also going to be able to change the colours of things that I don't like the colours of when im filimg which means that I
have a lot more capability with clothing and props because I can change the colour of them if needed.
8. Animating object outlines
โข I made an outline for an object in photoshop and then in premier made a mask and moved the mask over the original image so that it would make a transition. I
then made the blue wall an image after it zooms in and replace the imagine with the video on the timeline that I could drag it out of the way. This helped me
further understand opaciry masking and different layers. I think that I could use this in the future to create small visual effects if I motion tracked it, for this reason I
would like to have more pratice motion tracking and doing this too. I think this is also going to help me a lot to create custom transitions in the future because I
understand how to use images and layers to make things move.
9. Slow-motion at 30fps
โข I went to the speed and duration section of the clip and changed the slow-motion type to optical flow and let it render out, and it gave me smooth slow motion
with only 30fps. I think that this is going to be very useful to me in the future because I donโt always have access to 1080p and 60 fps because my camera only
shoots in 720p if I want 60fps. So this is going to allow me to have smoother slow-motion b-roll footage whilst also maintaining 1080p. I am going to use this a lot
in the future and in most of my projects. I would like to have eperimented with more clips that have more motion in them to see the capibilities of this feature. I
will still try and have to avoid it where possible because it doesnโt look as good as shooting in a higher frame rate and it doesn't always work.
10. Motion tracking in aftereffects
โข I learn't how to automatically motion track things in aftereffects. This was very useful to me, because it was the first time that I had used aftereffects. I found out
that I really like aftereffects and that I would like to use it more in the future. The automatic tracking feature is very useful and can be realiable if I shoot and
purposly keep something in the shot that is trackable for the program. I think that I could use this a lot in the future for visual effects and for text in shorts films and
documentarys that I make. I would like to spend more time in atereffects and learn more about visual effects.
