Prototyping & Testing - Design Thinking Experience Day
During the current basic track at the School of Design Thinking at the HPI in Potsdam I had the pleasure to run several sessions with the students regarding the importance of prototyping during a design thinking project. For sure for early testing but also as important and powerful way of develop and iterate ideas inside the team. Sometimes without even words.
I combined this short input with several exercises, where the students created in several iterations and with very strikt time-boxing different prototypes based on a certain challenge.
Interesting to see how effective athe hand-over from a first version of a prototype to another team worked out in the end.

When the utility power is unnormal, solar inverter can change the battery energy into pure sine wave AC power, make the load work.

Camtasia getting started guide
1. There are three ways to record a PowerPoint presentation: from within PowerPoint, from within Camtasia Studio, or using the Camtasia Studio recording toolbar within PowerPoint.
2. When recording with Camtasia Studio, you can set options like recording the mouse cursor, video/audio format, and camera setup. You then launch the slideshow, control it normally during recording, and stop recording by pressing Esc.
3. After recording, you can choose to stop, continue recording, or cancel the recording by pressing Esc and deleting the video capture if prompted.

- 1. 3 KEY TAKEAWAY / LEARNINGS 1) The importance of emphatizing – you have to get into the stakeholder shoes, and that needs to happen constantly, whether you are gathering information, when ideating or when prototyping an idea. 2) Always ask for feedback – other people _will_ have different points of view that will richen your creative process. 3) Purposely come up with multiple ideas and force them to be outrageous – even after simplifying them a lot there could be good, realistic ones in there.

- 3. REFLECTION I think the process map pictured here applies to any creative design problem. And creative design applies to know problems or assignments or even to unknown needs. Working in an engineering department for a manufacturer of industrial equipment, I feel this skills are really applicable to my everyday work. Every time we consider a new project or even designing features for an existing project, getting into this creative mindset should allow you to come up with better solutions that your customers will eventually appreciate.
