1. Pro Choice Abortion Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic of "Pro Choice Abortion" can be a challenging task, as it involves
navigating through complex and sensitive issues that evoke strong emotions and differing
perspectives. The difficulty lies in presenting a balanced and well-reasoned argument that
respects diverse opinions while addressing the ethical, moral, and legal aspects surrounding
abortion.
To create a comprehensive essay, one must delve into the historical context, legal frameworks,
and societal implications of abortion, considering both the pro-choice stance and opposing

Cloud computing involves a lot of concepts and technologies. Companies and
corporations such as Amazon, Google and Microsoft are providing services following
the logic of computational infrastructure cloud computing, with Amazon the pioneer
in providing and marketing infrastructure of this kind. The academic community has
also shown interest in cloud computing, and some work has been directed to
improvements in aspects of performance, security, usability, implementation and
reliability of the system as a whole (Armbrust et al. 2009). Other work has developed
new techniques to make adequate infrastructure to each context of cloud computing

the process of grouping records and distribute the blocks in a balanced manner.
The MapReduce was implemented using C + + and has interfaces to Java and
Python. The MapReduce was developed by Google but there are some open source
implementations, among which stands out the Hadoop (Hadoop 2010). The
Hadoop is a framework of free code in Java to run applications that manipulate
large amounts of data in distributed environments. The Hadoop is composed by the
file system HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) and a parallel execution
environment. Within this environment, or better, the Hadoop framework, several
subprojects can be found, such as the implementation of MapReduce, the
distributed data management system called HBase, data flow language r and
structure for parallel execution called Pig. The main characteristics of the Hadoop
are: distributed storage systems, file partitioned into large blocks is distributed on
the nodes of the system, blocks replicated to handle hardware failure and a location
for temporary data. Unlike other approaches to distributed file systems, the storage
and processing of HDFS is done at each node of the system. Thus, using the Hadoop
or MapReduce is relatively easy for a computer project working with

since he was very young. His wife, Elizabeth, constantly tries to find a cure for her
husband. She then found a man named Lionel, a child speech therapist. On their
first meeting together, Lionel does all he can to prove that Bertie s speech disorder
is not permanent. Throughout the movie we realise that Bertie has not had an easy

How do the sets contribute to the mood the filmmakers are trying to establish? The
sets are very dark in order to gain a very serious mood amongst the characters and
to create a very dull atmosphere for the audience. The lack of light helps you to

life. This difficult time could be described as a very dark part of his life 4. How do

Assessment of Perineal Pain
Adequate and effective management of perineal pain begins with a comprehensive
assessment (Marcus et al, 2009; Breivikl et al, 2008; Dalton et al, 1999). However,
Andrews et al, (2008) UK based study concluded that there is no pain scale to date
that has been developed to appropriately and accurately assess the perineal pain that
women experience during the postnatal period. This begins to offer explanation as
why up to 92% of new mothers endure perineal pain in the early postpartum period
(Macarthur and Macarthur, 2004).To further support these findings Way (2012)
discovered that women expect perineal pain following vaginal birth but under
estimate the severity of the pain. Women will experience high levels of pain before
requesting analgesia as they attempt to normalise the pain as a consequence of
vaginal delivery (Swain and Dahlen, 2013). Macarthur and Macarthur (2004)
conclude that the current management of perineal pain is inadequate as the use of
analgesia is not standardised.
Both Macarthur and Macarthur (2004) and Andrews et al, (2008) used a prospective
cohort research design to obtain their data. The sample population that was needed to
ensure that the results produced were statistically significant was, therefore, larger
(Rees, 2011). Macarthur and Macarthur (2004) used a sample size of four hundred
and forty seven women from Toronto, Canada, and Andrews et al, (2008) included
two hundred and forty one women from London, England. The

Zophobas morio Preference between a vanilla or coffee abstract

Abstract Zophobas morio, also known as mealworms, is the larva of the beetles
called tenebrionid beetles. These beetles have a tendency of mainly eating grass
and sticks, and they also tend to burrow. This lab study is to find out if the Z.
morio prefer the smell of coffee abstract or the sweet vanilla abstract. The way we
did this study was by taking a habitat with oats in it and see what side the
mealworms would prefer (the coffee side or the vanilla side). My conclusion of
what side the mealworms preferred is the vanilla abstract over the coffee. This might
have been so because they may have liked the sweeter smell ... Show more content on

The mealworms seemed to have preferred the side with vanilla more than coffee. In
the scientific method you have several steps that take place. These steps include
observe, develop questions, test, collect information, analyze the findings, form
conclusions, share results, and finally conduct more research (Schiff, 2015). We
have done all of these besides conduct more research. More research needs to be
done in order to find out more accurately if these test findings are accurate. I question
my findings because the abstracts are both human creations making me wonder why
they would go to either or if they had the diet that they do. After finding information
about the mealworms I would have changed my hypothesis to them wanting to go
over to the coffee abstract more. This is because it s more of a natural food and it isn t
has sweet smelling as that of vanilla abstract. The test results surprised me when
after the first test. This is because I figured the mealworms would go to vanilla
because of the sweeter smell. But surprisingly they went to the coffee side more.
The second and third test the mealworms went more of where I originally thought.
I figured that all three of the test would be more like the last test was like.
Mealworms can be a pest in a house. They can get into your flour, corn meal, or any
other type of house grains (Arizona, 1997). This is why some students did their

6. The Habits Of Authentic Leadership
Habits of Authentic Leadership
Stephen R. Covey has authored numerous leadership and personal growth books.
This paper focuses on the book titled The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People
and its relation to the theory of authentic leadership as well as its application to
nursing practice. All seven of the habits are valuable to nursing practice, enabling
nurses to become more effective leaders and care providers. The habits applying to
authentic leadership principles that will be discussed are begin with the end in mind,
think win win, synergize, and finally, sharpen the saw.

Relationships are built and connections are established with others in order to
strengthen the human bond (Shirey, 2006). Authentic leaders display self discipline
by establishing a balance among their personal and professional lives (Shirey, 2006).
These characteristics apply to the following habits of effective people and can also be
incorporated into nursing practice.
Begin With the End in Mind
One habit discussed in The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People is Begin with the
end in mind , which is based on the concept of beginning every day and every task
with a clear vision of the desired goals and direction while being proactive to make
these happen. This habit is grounded on the ability to envision the future and define
one s personal, moral, and ethical guidelines which contribute to the attainment of the
desired outcomes or destination (Covey, 2004).
This concept aligns with the characteristics of purpose and value in an authentic
leader. Having this clear vision and drive to achieve outcomes is also an important
in a quality nurse. Each nurse possesses their own personal, moral, and ethical
frameworks and these direct how nurses will achieve their goals and which
outcomes they desire. The ability to have a precise view of what one wants to
accomplish would allow a nurse to follow his/her dreams and passions to achieve
what they truly desire in the flexible field of

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background
Personal health behaviours are activities that heighten risk of disease or promote the
maintenance of health. They consist of two broad classes of behaviour: 1) Health
risk behaviours, or activities carried out with a frequency or intensity that increases
risk of disease or injury; these include cigarette smoking, excessive alcohol
consumption, certain sexual behaviours and drink driving. 2) Positive health
behaviours, or activities that may help prevent disease and injury, detect disease and
disability at an early stage, or enhance health; regular physical activity, avoidance of
fat in the diet, eating fruit and fibre, and breast and testicle self examination, all fall
into this category. (1) Personal health behaviours are thought to play a key role in
determining the prevalence of diseases of major socio economic impact throughout
the world, including cardiovascular diseases, cancers and accidents. (2)
Personal health behaviours are determined by a wide variety of factors, including
socio cultural influences (e.g. dietary traditions and religious prohibition of
alcohol), legislation (e.g. laws restricting the purchase of tobacco and the use of
seat belts), macroeconomics (e.g. disposable income and taxation on cigarettes),
health care provision (e.g. occupational health checks and free dental care), systems
of provision of goods and services (e.g. availability of sporting facilities and low fat
foods), and socio demographic factors (age,
9. The Debt Of The Third World Countries
Is it possible for the first world countries to forgive the debt of the third world
countries? It is possible if the first world countries can afford to lose money and
resources to help other countries. If the first world countries do not cancel the debt
then the third world countries debt and loans is going to increase. It going to cause
the value of the money currencies to drop and the cost of the debt is going to rise.
The debt is also causing the third worldcountries to delay from increasing their own
economic and other benefits. In other word it is preventing the third world countries
from developing into a rich and resourceful country just like the first world
countries. This causes the third world countries to borrow money from the first
world countries in order to resolve the debt and need to borrow money to privatize
the communal resource. The debt of the third world countries need to be forgiven
because of the increase in debt, economic and borrowing money. The third world
countries debt is only going to increase if the first world countries do not cancel the
debt. The main reason that the debt is going to increase is that the third world
countries had made loans with the first world countries and the loans continue to
increase. According to Vanessa Baird, Most loans to the third world have to be
repaid in hard currencies; and hard currencies are stable currencies: that means their
value does not change much. (1) This makes it difficult for developing
10. Examples Of Manipulation In Julius Caesar
Manipulation. Manipulation is to skillfully influence someone in an unfair manner.
Manipulation is changing a person s perception to gain a desired outcome. Flattering
someone to get them hooked to you and have control over them, or getting a friend
to do your homework. That is manipulation. But, haven t we all tried manipulating
others to get what we want, at least once in our lives? We may have used
manipulation at one point, but the one person who would be considered as one of the
most manipulative characters is Marc Antony, from Julius Caesar by William
Shakespeare. In this play, it tells a story of skillfully using manipulation and other
rhetorical devices to gain control over the people. It is a story on how to use
violence and words to have a persuasive effect on people, and get all the way up to
the top. In Julius Caesar, Antony masterfully uses a series of rhetorical devices to
get what he wants. He uses his skill of manipulation to trick people into believing
he s right and giving the audience a belief of his dishonesty. As a result, this leaves
one to believe that Antony would not be suit for the job of having a leadership role;
in fact, he would be the worst fit for the job. Many may believe that Cassius is the

everyone, no matter the circumstance. Now, wouldn t it be a great thing if Antony

person who uses people for his personal needs, and is very manipulative. These
qualities that Antony has prove that he is not suited to become the ruler of Rome
because he would fail at leading the

Indian
When people think about tribalism, they usually associate it with a strong possession
of a cultural or ethnical identity. Tribalism can take many forms. For example, it can
refer to popular culture in which people are exhibiting loyalty to their social group.
Certainly, there are positive and negative perspectives to either side. When reading
The Chocolate War and An AbsoluteDiary of A Part Time Indian, I experienced both
sides of tribalism. When, reading An Absolute Diary of A Part Time Indian, by
Sherman Alexie, I saw how the protagonist Arnold was able to gain support from his
tribes while discovering strengths inside of himself that he never knew existed. In
comparison, I discovered while reading The Chocolate War, by Robert Cormier, the
protagonist Jerry had the foundations of support, but it ended up crumbling when he
needed the support the most. Why was Arnold able to become an individual while
being a member of numerous tribes, when Jerry s tribes didn t support him for being
an individual?
Jerry, a freshman who comes into Trinity and is able to throw off its balance. He is
able to defy the Vigils and that action alone is huge, because no one has ever dared
to defy them before because the Vigils are their own tribe at Trinity. Jerry is able to
disturb the tribe and almost rally supporters behind him, but it doesn t last very
long and Jerry is singled out by the Vigils. Jerry had the football team as his tribe

14. Character Analysis Of The Godfather
The Godfather was directed by Francis Ford Coppola and was released in 1972. It
starred Al Pacino and Marlon Brando as the two main characters. This movie is
one of the best films to grace the big screen to this date. It has a very well executed
plot as well. I like this movie a lot, portrays generally unlikeable characters in a
sympathetic light and by the end of the movie you are truly rooting for them. I like
that Coppola takes a very unlikeable subject and generally bad people and turns them
into people that you are rooting for and want them to generally succeed. The way
Coppola does this is through the way he develops the characters. The development of
these mobsters throughout this movie is fantastic. Michael Corleone(Al Pacino) is the
epitome of this concept. At the beginning he is a returning Veteran who wants
nothing to do with the family crime business. By the end he has transformed to a
ruthless yet caring mob boss. He has a personal conflict that most people can relate
to. He is conflicted between pleasing his parents and pleasing himself. In the end he
takes a hybrid route choosing to be a caring yet ruthless mob boss; separating
business and personal matters. Michael may be the best example, but the whole
Corleone family is very relatable. George Ebert would agree:
The movie (based on a script labored over for some time by Puzo and then finally
given form, I suspect, by director Francis Ford Coppola) gets the same feel. We tend
to identify with Don Corleone s family not because we dig gang wars, but because we
have been with them from the beginning, watching them wait for battle while sitting
at the kitchen table and eating chow mein out of paper cartons. (Ebert) The plot starts
with Don Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) taking care of Mob business during his
daughter s wedding. During the wedding, Michael returns home from fighting in
World War 2. After the wedding Don Vito is offered to be let in on the Narcotics
Trade. Don Vito seeing this as inhumane refuses the offer. This refusal causes an
assassination attempt on Don Vito. While he is being nursed back to health, his 3
sons (Sonny, Fredo, and Michael) try to take revenge on the assassin. Unfortunately

No one in the scientific community would argue with the premise that the earth s
climate has changed over the eons of its existence or that it will continue to change.
The arguments now revolve around if mankind s use of the environment has
specifically altered our climate.
Scientists have described our world as a clump of matter that spun out of the sun to
join its journey hurling though cold and empty space. Our spaceship earth would
match the moon and have no climate had not molten core continued to pierce its cold
crust, spewing forth chemicals that would eventually form our atmosphere, our seas

into the Amundsen Sea are melting twice as fast near the coast than they has ten

enough ice to raise the sea level twenty or so feet ( Revkin ). As the receding glaciers
and polar ice caps part of the natural gerological process, or is the human s
comsumption of fossil fuels to blame? Do we as humans face a dilemma of rising
seas of our own making or is the earth following it own path and we can only be

rocks, tree ring, ice cores, and mud. We must assume that the climates were
warmer or colder based on the type of fossiled fauna left in the geological record.
No actual evidence is left in rock formations that shows the chemical make up of
historic atmospheres. Scientists have recently by passed this dilemma by coring
glaciers, allowing them to look into past atmospheres as old as 750,000 years.
Glaciers are made by compaction of snow on land. As the snow compacts and gets

Life of John Venn John Venn was born on August 4, 1834, in Hull, England. His
parents were Martha Sykes and Reverend Henry Venn. Unfortunately, Venn s
mother died when he was only three years old. Venn was brought up in a very
strict home. His father had played a significant part in the Evangelical movement
and he was also the secretary of the Society for Missions to Africa and the East.
Venn started his education at Highgate with his brother Henry in September 1846.
He later moved to Islington proprietary school. He later earned his degree in
mathematics in 1857 from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. Having earned
a fellowship there as well, Venn would establish a long term career at his alma

work for a short time before returning to Caius College . In 1868, he married
Susanna Carnegie Edmonstone with whom he had one son, John Archibald Venn. He
eventually resigned from the clergy in 1883, because Anglicanism was incompatible
with his philosophical beliefs. But he still remained involved in the church. His most

W.A. Mozart Don Giovanni
Mozart s Don Giovanni is an operatic masterpiece that is full of classical and
legendary tension that still exists today. The music conveys and describes important
principles of human personality and character (Ford 9). Don Giovanni is one of the
best pieces by Mozart, and it is still a masterpiece in the lyric theater. It was
composed in 1787 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Don Giovanni was produced
during the classical period; intellectually the era is also known as the Age of
enlightenment (Fisher 14). During the period, European thinkers embraced the idea
of social justice and the value of ordinary individuals. They also believed in the

Mozart first appeared in public in 1761 at the university theatre. He was among
dancers in a school drama known as Sigismundus Hungariae Rex (Sadie 22).
Another factor that influenced Mozart s professional life is his travel to Vienna.
During their visits, his father was able to ensure that they performed before the royal
and imperial family at the Viennese court (Sadie 23). He understood that these would
give Mozart the attention he needed to secure his future patronage. Moreover, the
family traveled to Paris and other places which helped in influencing his career
(Sadie 33).
Mozart used the opportunity to present themes in Don Giovanni, in which common
man fought for his rights against the totalitarianism and harassment of his noble
master. Don Giovanni highlights powerful and uncontrollable unreasonable forces
of humanity. Also, it represents a paradoxical world which can be seen as a blessing
or a curse (Fisher 19). The theme is important to the production of Don Giovanni as
it presented the real sociopolitical events that were taking place in Europe. Mozart
was keen to ensure that people understood what was taking place in the society.
In turn, Mozart s Don Giovanni belonged to the classical era. One important aspect of
music style of classical period is that it focused on clarity (Fisher 127). Also,
stylistically the music emphasized on precision as well as rigid structural methods.
During that period individuals had strong

Downfall of Affirmative Action Many colleges in United States are composed of
an ethnically diverse student body. One of the reasons why the student body is full
of diversity is because of the Affirmative Action. It is the policy that gives a special
incentives to minorities and women to help promote diversity in school. Though it is
a great idea to promote diversity in every college in United States, it is also a bad
idea to continue this system. Many A students who are not minorities tend to get the
same treatment as the B students who are minorities. Although accepted into school,
these students who barely met the minimum criteria may have a tougher time at
school because they may not be able to keep up with the pace of the classes since the
schools have high expectations of its students. Furthermore, students who have
worked hard to get good grades might be overlooked because the students who have
lower grades will be accepted simply to fulfill the quota. Although promoting
affirmative actionis a great idea to seek diversity through different views from many
different ethnicities, it will also take away people s hard work, as well as producing
more drop out students since they cannot keep up with what the university is
expecting from them. Therefore, it is not morally justifiable or socially beneficial for
the students since they may have a lower chance of succeeding at school. Affirmative
action will treat the majority students the same way as the minority
20. Sensual And Casual Relationship In The United States
A spousal relationship is defined by other words like union, marriage, wedlock,
matrimony, or others depending on factors like the country of origin and religion.
Essentially, it is the commitment of two people to one another until death, or in
today s world, with divorce. Many people forget that when you commit to another
person as you do in a marriage recognized by the government or a spiritual leader,
you are also accepting certain responsibilities. Depending on the country and the
religion, a spousal relationship can vary when it comes down to details. Generally
speaking, this type of union is voluntary, although sometimes it is set up by the family
members.

Before she managed to strike, Sans woke up and teleported out of the way. Chara

Chara replied with The worst kind. The kind that s only a monster under the skin.
Chara then struck Asgore, turning him instantly to dust, but then Flowey destroyed

Chapter tow Literature review In most western economics Small and medium sized
enterprise (SME) development is considered as a key to economic growth,
innovations and market competition (Acs and Audretch, 1990). In transition
countries, the contribution of SMEs is important for the sustaining ideology of the
free market, generate income, innovation and creating jobs (Johnson and Loveman,
1995). So far, most of the transition countries still suffer from high unemployment
rates even after being on the transition path for over a decade. Since national
stabilization efforts and strong SME sectors could provide future employment
opportunity and contribute to economic growth. In general, to consider variation
between transition countries, in mature market economies, characteristics of private
business are not necessarily different, yet they are unique because they tend to take
on extreme proportions (Smallbone and Welter, 2001). In many cases, the transition
process environment for doing business, the weak institutions and poor governance
law and regulations made the growth of SMEs slow (Aidis, 2005). Corruption and
environmental changes In transition countries are much larger scale than in advanced
western countries. Most of studies in private businesses have identified the obstacles
which they are affecting business operations like formal barriers which associated

24. Go Away Big Green Monster Literary Techniques
Controlling one s fears is an important thing to know how to do, which is why it s
important to start teaching children at a young age. Though there are many ways
to do this, instilling the lesson into something that they enjoy, such as reading
picture books, is a pretty good place to start. In the children s book Go Away, Big
Green Monster, author Ed Emberley successfully uses ugly adjectives, multiple
pictures, and a few forceful words in order to convince the children reading the
book that they can take charge of their fears in almost any situation as long as they
face them first. As each page progresses, the author adds another feature to the
monster. This is to make it seem like the monsters power is just being built up. If the
author would have just described all of the features of the monster in one page, no
suspense would have been created in the minds of the children, and they wouldn t
have been as interested in turning to the next page, because their fearhad already been
revealed. Emberley used the technique of using more pictures than words in order to
break down the fear at a constant rate rather than all at once, and once the full
monster was revealed and the next page began taking away features, the child was
able to realize that the power laid in their hands,... Show more content on

Breaking it down, by showing the full monster at the beginning, the author proves
that more than not, ones fears are right in front of them. Through the use of ugly
adjectives, the author emphasizes that almost everything on the monster is large in
some way, from his big round head to his long blue nose. This is just one of the
many ways that this author tries to persuade the children to face their fears, because
no matter how big or scary a fear may be, nothing is impossible to

27. Proud s 7 Sins
There are seven infamous sins that a person can commit. These sins include lust,
gluttony, sloth, wrath, envy, greed, and pride. A sin is an immoral act committed
against God. However, God s mercy is indefinite. God can forgive any of these sins
as long as that person seeks and accepts God s forgiveness. While these seven sins are
forgivable, there is one sinthat cannot be forgiven. Despair has long been considered
the unforgivable sin. Despair has roots that connect it to the blasphemy of the Holy
Spirit and the unforgivable act of suicide.
Despair is the complete absence of hope. Despair is when a person feels that they
cannot be saved. They have decided to turn against God and his omnipotence. By not
believing in Gods powers, they have forsaken God. When someone doesn t believe
they can be saved, they are denying God s forgiveness. God forgiveness is infinite, it
never ends. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The reason despair is unforgivable is because they don t accept God s forgiveness.
Believing that you cannot be saved means that you believe your sins are greater than
God s grace and greater than Christs sacrifice. This means that God cannot forgive
you, if don t believe that you can be forgiven.
In John Milton s Paradise Lost, the devil is in despair after he has fallen from
heaven. When he first sees Eden he is reminded of everything he has lost. He
believes that he cannot be forgiven. There is no way to go back to heaven because
of his betrayal to God. It is revealed in earlier books of Paradise Lost that Satan can
never be saved. Satan and the other fallen angles could not have had forgiveness
because their evil and sin came from themselves. They created sin, they were its
source. Milton believes that despair is the worst sin of all. According to Milton,
Satan can never be forgiven. God gave

advantage to using MRI is it is non invasive. The less researchers harm their

however, researchers can only use MRIs to look at activation in the brain making
its use limited. A study that can show how MRI scans care used to investigate the
relationships between biological factors and behavior is Maguire et al. (2000).
The aim of this study was to determine if well experienced taxi drivers in London
would have differing hippocampus structures compared to London bus drivers.
MRI scans were used to scan the structure of their hippocampus, and measured the
amount of gray matter in their brain. Maguire noticed there was a larger amount of
gray matter found in taxi drivers. Maguire found the data could suggest that the
increase amount of gray matter in the hippocampus of taxi drivers is due to the
active and repetitive use of the spatial memory skills required to remember roads;
the neurons are stronger in areas of the brain which are used most. Maguire
because of the MRI technology was able to observe the structures of the subject s
brains and find a correlation between environment and neuroplasticity which has
been known to affects behavior in terms of memory. Maguire effectively used MRI
scans to investigate the structure of the hippocampus, he could not have done this
using other technologies such as an EEG or a PET scan. With this study Maguire
was able to see the biological factor of brains areas and the hippocampus as well as
the behavior of memory and spacial

30. Hamlet Acts Morally, Harms Others by his Actions, and...
Hamlet is Shakespeare s most famous work of tragedy. Throughout the play the title
character, Hamlet, tends to seek revenge for his father s death. Shakespeare achieved
his work in Hamlet through his brilliant depiction of the hero s struggle with two
opposing forces that hunt Hamlet throughout the play: moral integrity and the need to
avenge his father s murder. When Hamlet sets his mind to revenge his fathers death,
he is faced with many challenges that delay him from committing murder to his uncle
Claudius, who killed Hamlets father, the former king. During this delay, he harms
others with his actions by acting irrationally, threatening Gertrude, his mother, and by
killing Polonius which led into the madness and death of Ophelia.... Show more

That would be scann d A villain kills my father; and, for that, I, his sole son, do this
same villain send To heaven. (Act 3.3.74 79) Here, Hamlet shows despite his need
to revenge for his father, he is held back from his constant thought of his actions as
well as his moral considerations. It s been clearly stated that Hamlet has a strong
sense of heaven and hell; that he won t kill his uncle while praying, because he
thinks he might go to heaven. Hamlet himself doesn t want to kill his uncle without
being assured that he is guilty. This is why, by the end of the play, Claudius death
is something we applaud, regretting only that he was not killed sooner. The reason
of this delay is because of Hamlets moral triumph. His morality often keeps him from
acting; it makes him mull around in his uncertainty and anxiety, instead of just acting
and bringing his struggle to an end. Although Hamlet has thoughts on the moral
consequences of revenge, which is the cause of the delay to gain vengeance for his
father, he deceives others by his irritating actions. After threatening the queen in her
bedroom, telling her that she is not leaving the room until he knows that she is

31. Women Serving For Combat Positions
Introduction/Objective: Women serving in combat positions has been a highly
controversial topic and is openly criticized by many. The push for equality by
allowing women to serve in combat positions is not just isolated to a few military
branches of service. Secretary Carter stated, For the first time in U.S. military
history, as long as they qualify and meet specific standards, women will be able to
contribute to the Defense Department mission with no barriers at all in their way.
(Pellerin, 2016). Based on the Secretary s recommendation, women will be eligible
for all positions to include roles in combat. Senior leaders noted that this will provide
a better selection of candidates, therefore increasing the quality of the selection
process, (Commander Call Topics, 2015). The leading idea behind gender neutrality
is to improve the military s position regarding well qualified personnel in key
positions, (Commander Call Topics, 2015). This integration is supported through
equal opportunity for everyone who inspires to serve their country. The standards will
remain the same, therefore women will need to pass the same requirements as their
male counterparts, (Commander Call Topics, 2015).
According to research, several studies were conducted prior to making the decision to
open all military positions for women. It was noted that over 200,000 women worked
alongside their male counterparts in Afghanistan and Iraq without incident,
(Commander Call Topics, 2015). Based

Catalyzed by the Egyptian born Wael Ghonim, who in June 2010 created a

unleashed a social and political revolution against Hosni Mubarak s repressive regime.
Within months of setting up the page, called We Are All Khaled Said , over 250,000
people followed it. Inspired by Ghonim s call to action, demonstrators protested
against torture and other regime led human rights abuses, high unemployment,
poverty, and corruption, which led to the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak and
the dissolution of the ruling National Democratic Party. Seeing how Egypt s masses
were able to affect political and social change, young pro democracy advocates in
other Arab countries including Tunisia, Yemen, and Morocco were encouraged to
followed suit. The Tunisian revolution began in December 2010, when fruit vendor
Mohammed Bouazizi set himself on fire to call attention to government and police
corruption, as police officers attempted to steal his fruit and beat him. After being
told off by the city government when he tried to report the incident, Bouazizi

companionship and brotherhood. They must be dedicated to the intellectual, physical,

But sometimes, the real essence of having fraternities is being repudiated because of
some immoral acts done within the organization. In the Philippines, the existence of
fraternities are not prohibited. In fact, some are existing as legal organizations
carrying the purpose of being an asset within the community. But in a setting like this
in our country where powerful people abuses those who are not in position to make
their stands, where the real meaning of brotherhood is disregarded, I believe that this
is not an appropriate country to dwell with fraternities. The government should
abolish fraternities for they take away the significance of education and morality in
the Philippines. It is argued that the establishments of fraternities bring a very good
sense of brotherhood and companionship that leads to a well organized community.
Fraternities started existing wayback because of the strong desire of people in the
Middles Ages to show companionship. Undeniably, they are really intended for good
purposes and until now the arguments between the pros and cons of such

Yes, yes. Horrible business. But I don t understand why you should come here,
Inspector.
Neither does the audience at first, but Goole s slow unravelling of the connections
between Eva Smith and every member of the Birling household forms the central
fascinating strand of the plot.
The shape of his investigation is dictated by the needs of the audience rather than
strict police procedure. His questions to each member of the family re tell the
events of the final part of Eva Smith s life in chronological order, whereas a more
naturalistic approach would have been to start with the events immediately leading

The chronological approach is also echoed by deepening moral lapses on the part

The Significance of Pulpit in the Church Architectural Settings
Introduction
The term Church Architecture refers to the architectural buildings of the Christian
churches and cathedrals, which evolved over two thousand years. The churches have
witnessed varied styles of architectural buildings from the early period of the birth of
Christianity till today. Some of the most significant church architectural buildings are
from the church architectural designs of Byzantium, Romanesque Abbey churches,

The word Pulpit is derived from the Latin word pulpitum meaning platform or an
elevated stand of stone or wood for the preacher or reader to stand on. Pulpit is
essentially a place where something important happens in the church. Generally in
almost all churches, pulpit is used for preaching, whereas in some churches pulpit is
used both for preaching and reading of scripture. In early Christian times, ambo was
used for preaching instead of pulpit, and lectern, a speaker s stand in the church,
which means to read was used for reading scriptures by laymen, and also used for
announcements, and to lead congregation prayers.
Every Christian believes that God speaks to us through the proclamation of his
Word; hence, the place where the Word is proclaimed should be one of the focal
points in the church. Some argues that it is not essential and necessary to have two
places for proclaiming the Word (i.e. pulpit and lectern). In fact, many people prefer
to have only one place for proclaiming the Word since having two platforms confuses
the congregation and also having lectern and pulpit were often limited to wealthy
congregations since many cannot afford it. Robert S. Brightman writes on the pulpit

39. Zechariah Is The Doctrine Of End Times
One of the major themes of the book of Zechariah is Old Testament Eschatology.
Eschatology is the doctrine of end times, or the study of last things. Zechariah s
message is divided into three main sections. The first section, chapters 1 8, is
considered apocalyptic and is filled with eight visions succeeding one another in
one night. The second section, chapters 7 8, delivered two years later, are an
answer to the question whether the days of fasting and mourning for the
destruction of the city should be kept any longer, and an assurance to the people of
God s presence and blessing. The third and final section, chapters 9 14, consists of
two oracles. The first oracle (9 11) addresses God s dealings with His people. The
second oracle (12 14) points out the final conflict and triumph of God s kingdom.
In the first section, Zechariah details a series of eight supernatural visions the Lord
reveals to Him. These visions are apocalyptic in nature and are communicated to
encourage the people to finish rebuilding the Temple, which at that point was five
months into reconstruction. These visions are given to relay hope for the people s
future and the future of the city of the Temple, Jerusalem. The first vision (1:7 17)
consists of four angelic riders on four horses of various colors. The angelic rider on
the red horse dismounts his horse in the middle of a grove of myrtle trees. Zechariah
asks the meaning of this vision and the angel of the Lord responds. The horses and

40. The Soldier s Return By Robert Burns
Born in rural Ayrshire in 1759, Robert Burns grew up in a small home with his
large family. By the age of twenty seven, Burns had published his first form of
writing. In the midst of his success, Burns was treated as a national celebrity in
Scotland. All of his sudden fame was credited to him being the first poet known to
stay true to his beliefs, whether he was expressing his principles through writing or
living faithfully by them. One of the topics that Robert Burnsenjoyed to comment on
through his poems is the urge for independent liberties that came as a result from the
fight for freedom (Crawford 6). Burns writes The Soldiers Return in 1793, which
portrays all of his thoughts towards the mistreatment of soldiers. The poem... Show

The speaker of Burns poem, a former soldier, implies that he has little money and
possessions through his declaration of his maintaining of a light purse . He shares
that he has worked arduously and would like someone to appreciate and help him.
With these thoughts revealed, Burns begins to comment on the mistreatment of
soldiers. Robert Burns is considered as an extremely nationalistic poet. He is
extremely fond of highlighting points that society can improve upon. Many
individuals see Burns as a man who devotes his time to bringing attention to the
idealistic values of his people through their harsh realities. Robert Burns Poetry, an
online article authored by Mary Ellen Brown, states the following, Here as
elsewhere in Burns s work, freedom reigns (Brown). Brown, an English professor at
Indiana University, was directly referring to Burns s poem, The Soldier s Return .
This poem emanates the issue of treatment towards soldiers in the 17th century. Burns
ideology has transcended poems and leaked into the musical industry. Didn t I , by
Montgomery Gentry captures the same idea that Burns s poem did, the
underappreciation and mistreatment of soldiers after they have sacrificed so much
for their country.
Didn t I is a song that transmits the thoughts of soldiers to the

Giant is one of the largest retailers in Malaysia. Giant store was founded by the
Teng family in 1944. The store started as a simple grocery store in one of the
suburbs of Kuala Lumpur in 1944 and expanded with the opening of the Teng
Minimarket Centre in Bangsar in 1974. Its purpose was to offer their customers
wide range of food products at lowest prices as possible. As years gone by the store
reputation grew and so did the business. Dairy Farm, which captured Giant in 1999,
recognized that the leading to Giant s success had been its capability to continuously
offer value for money products. It maintained this basis principle even as it began

INTRODUCTION
A vitamin so named in 1913 by political biochemist C. Funk is defined to be any of a
number if unrelated, complex organic substances found variously in most foods, or
sometimes synthesized in the body, and essential, in small amounts for the regulation
of the metabolism and normal growth and functioning of the body. (Webster s New
World College Dictionary, 4th Edition) We often obtain the substantial amount of
Vitamin C through our diets since the body is unstable to synthesize and actually
produce Vitamin C on its own. Vitamin C also known as Ascorbic acidis a colorless,
crystalline, water soluble vitamin, found in many foods especially citrus fruits,
vegetables, and rose hips; its required for proper nutrition and metabolism, and a
deficiency produces scurvy. (Webster s New World College Dictionary, 4th Edition)
If an individual does not have a sufficient amount of Vitamin C in their bloodstream it
often leads to a slow recovery for a simple cold, and for the formation of proteins
(collagen) which then creates skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments and blood vessels.
You need vitamin C for the growth and repair of tissues, healing of wounds, and for
repairing and maintaining bones and teeth. (http://umm.edu/health/medical/altmed

Many post cancer patients deal with the feeling of egregious fatigue for many years
after cancer treatment. There is a way to help this fatigue without making them take
anymore medicine. These suffering patients can take a placebo, which is a non
activated pill most of the time it is a sugar pill. Post cancerpatients suffering from
fatigue who took a placebo felt a 29% difference in severity of their fatigue and 39%
improvement in life disrupting fatigue. Taking this placebo it will not have any
negative effect like active medicine can. Using active medicine can have side effect
warnings of panic, psychosis, and heart failure. Nevertheless, taking the placebo it
will cause them less fatigue without having to worry about the negative effects...

Your brain releases opioids, dopamine, endorphins, and endocannabinoids.
Which all occurs in the prefrontal cortex, amygdala, hypothalamus, and parts of the
brainstem.
Genes can affect how much the placebos effect you. Using your genes to specify the
treatment it will target certain pain or diseases.
There is a gene coding for an enzyme controlling dopamine, which takes two forms;
Valine or Val and Methionine or Met.
You can either be a homozygote which is when you have two copies of the same
gene or you can heterozygote which is when you have one copy of each gene
Homozygotes for the met perform better on cognitive tests and are more pain
sensitive compared to heterozygotes. In a clinical study done by Sigma Xi proved
that met homozygotes had a much stronger reaction to placebos. There are five types
of genes that are related to dopamine, four types that are linked the serotonin, and a
gene for both opioids and endocannabinoids. Those genes all are related to the
neurotransmitters that your brain uses to suppress pain. Which the placebos release
all of those

46. Biodynamic Farming Vs Bionamic Farming
My third main point is against the use of pesticides is organic and biodynamic
farming. Organic farming is a method of crop and livestock production that involves
much more than choosing not to use pesticides, fertilizers, genetically modified
organisms, antibiotics and growth hormones. Yakowski states, Maintaining the health
of the soil is a key organic principle (16). To continue to have healthy soil farmers
need to avoid the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). GMOs harm soil
quality, disrupt ecosystems, and decrease annual crop yield potential. Yakowski
states, Animals raised on an organic farm, whether chickens or cattle, must be
provided with humane living conditions, such as access to the outdoors, adequate
space, grazing pastures, and organically produced feed (17). Keeping these living
conditions help the animals to reduce potential illnesses. Synthetic growth regulators,
steroids, antibiotics, and hormones are not able to be used for the animals at any
time. Yakowski states, Biodynamic farming incorporates many of the methods used
in organic farming. It s not just about sustainability, but also focuses highly on
regeneration of the soil (19). Farmers use cover crops and companion planting instead
of chemical controls which is way better for the environment. Biodynamic farming
does not use any chemical preparations. They use things such as manure, fermented
herbs such as chamomile and valerian, or minerals such as silica. The crops you
obtain from

Using data from various countries, subsequent studies continue to investigate the
relative international diversification benefits of ADRs. However, the empirical
findings are inconclusive. For example, ussing weekly data of 113 ADRs from 8
countries (Australia, France, Japan, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Sweden and
UK) during the period of January 1980 to September 1994, Jiang (1998) find that
US portfolio with investment in ADR portfolios achieves better risk adjusted returns
than that containing foreign market index portfolios. Differing from Jiang, Bekaert
and Urias (1999) investigate the gains from holding the emerging market closed end
mutual funds, open end mutual funds, and ADRs in a global equity portfolio.35
Using mean variance spanning tests, they find that 35Their sample of closed end
funds consists of 23 U.S. funds and 19 U.K. funds investing in emerging markets as
70 diversification benefits from emerging equity markets are sensitive to the time
periods of the tests, and in some cases, to the particular investment vehicle. There are
similar diversification benefits accruing to direct exposure to emerging market
indexes, managed funds and ADR portfolios. Their findings confirm that ADRs are
useful for international diversification purpose. Using monthly data from 17
countries seven developed economies and 10 emerging economies over the period
of 1976 to 1993, Errunza et al. (1999) comprehensively analyze the gains from
investing in three types of US traded
48. Analysis Of The Book Judges
The book of Judges is a very structured literary piece that uses chronological structure
to make a point and emphasize an idea. Judges narrates the Israelites continual
decline in morality and their downward spiral away from God, through the accounts
of the judges, minor judges, and individuals. While many people use the book of
judgesto teach courage and strength, it would be more accurately described as a
book of brokenness and terror. The book of Judges begins with a prologue. The
prologue is twofold. The first part of the prologue takes a historical look back on the
conquest of the Promised Land, and reemphasizes the failure of Israelite tribes when
they did not drive the inhabitance of the land out and fully take the land as God...

The first judge introduced is Othniel, who was raised up by the Lord to deliver the
Israelites from the king of Mesopotamia. The land of Israel had rest for 40 years
under his judgeship. The Israelites went back to what was evil, and their next
deliverer was Ehud, a left handed Benjaminite. He delivered them from the
Moabite king, Eglon, and the land experienced 80 years of rest. Shamgar is the
next judge in the narrative. The striking difference seen here is Shamgar does not
have a semitic name or any tribe affiliation, so it is possible that the Israelites were
delivered by a Gentile. The next judge, Deborah, is the only woman judge
mentioned. She is also said to have been a prophetess, and a judge with actual
judicial function, instead of a military leader. All the judges mentioned so far have
not been said to have been good and righteous leaders, but it has also not said they
have been immoral or corrupt as later judges are, so it can be assumed that they
were good judges. This drastically changes as we look at the next judges. The
narrative of judges takes a momentary break to mention the Lord sending a prophet
to the people of Israel. The prophet reminds the Israelites of the deliverance they
received from God in Egypt, and calls them not to fear the gods of the Amorites. The
prophet ends with But you have not obeyed my voice (Jud. 6:10). From this point on

Non Verbal Communication
Verbal Communication
Non Verbal Communication
Non verbal communication is an art of communication that could and can be used to
communicate important information to the minds of the learners in an effective and
efficient way. Non Verbal Communications are usually done via gestures As
researches show, non verbal communication has consistently demonstrated that the
specific non verbal language used by the educator/teacher will have a direct impact on
both the psychological attachment of the student to the teacher and the ability of the
teacher to connect with the student. It is also understood that in the context of

Verbal communication is known to another important element of child guidance that
is as important as non verbal communication .The words we use as educators strongly
influence the behaviors and learning experiences of students. A prime beginning for
effective verbal communication is the ability of the teacher/educator to be a good
listener, if you as the prime educator are able to listen and understand the verbal or
non verbal signals that are given out by the learner/student, teaching will be more
successful, effective and efficient. One part of verbal communication can be
described as the following The teacher begins by being open and approachable and
listens carefully to what the child is saying and doing, then in his own words, the
teacher/educator repeats back what he has heard the learner/student says. When the
teacher uses methods such active listening in cohesion with effective verbal
communication, it lets students/learners know the teacher is trying hard to help them
identify and understand the feelings they have and respond to those emotions in

51. Impacts and Ramifications of Stress in the Workplace Essay
In the workplace, stress can have some strong physical and mental effects on
employees. To best understand stress, it is first important to define it. Stress is
defined as a feeling of tension that occurs when a person perceives that a given
situation is about to exceed one s ability to cope and consequently could endanger
one s well being (Hitt, Miller Colella, 2011). Stresson the job is usually the result of
people feeling inadequate and unable to perform the given duties of a position at a
high level. This could be the result of not having the tools necessary to complete the
work or having an outside need that is unable to be met while performing duties.
Today, we ll examine different types of stress and the effects that... Show more

Health problems can begin to add up over time as chronic stress is experienced.
Next, stress can either be positive or negative. Eustress is positive stress which can
be invigorating and create drive within an individual. This kind of stress causes an
individual to strive toward meeting goals. A project manager may experience
eustress as critical steps on a complicated project are completed successfully.
Dystress is negative stress and is the one most people think of when thinking of
stress in general (Hitt, Miller Colella, 2011). Dystress can lead to the chronic stress
symptoms like depression and anxiety. Stress can be further examined by exploring
the demand control model and effort reward model of workforce stress. The
demand control model analyzes the relationship between an individual s
workplace demands faced and control one has over meeting these demands. If the
workforce demands are high, but control over meeting these demands is low, job
strain is at its highest (Hitt, Miller Colella, 2011). An example of this would be
how a Best Buy associate is required to ask every customer if they would like to
purchase an extended warranty regardless of whether he or she thinks a customer
needs it or can afford it. The optimal result of a demand control model

Decisions are something we face constantly every day, whether its choosing what
to say, which way to go, or even what your gonna eat. We all make decisions some
can be hard and so simple. In the book Lyddie written by Katherine Paterson it talks
about a 13 year old girl named Lyddie who left her home to go work at a tavern to
pay off her father s debt. But soon after she got fired and went to go work at a mill.
The book takes place during the Industrial revolution. Most most of the story takes
place at the mill bur in some rare cases she goes home to visit. The story is
important, and the story is important because it talks about the struggle that was
going on, and to teach in a fictional way about the Industrial revolution. Now Lyddie

what matters is their production which is how much material they make. So they
could have been working for a full 24 hours and they could still get little pay if
they did not make much material. On page 139 Lyddie had just gotten back to
work because she was feeling better now it says The money was going again. She
had nearly caught up with the wages lost by her less... Lyddie had been ill so she
could not work but once she was well enough she was to, but she went at as lower

harder and it says she only had two looms to tend instead of the four she had during
the summer. She needed the money. She had to have the money. Lyddie was
working twice as hard in the summer and even worked for the same time it wouldn
t matter because what she needed was the cloth to get the money. Lyddie was
working over hours for under pay and it s unfair for the workers. That s why I feel
that Lyddie should sign the petition for the pay of time instead of
53. Why The Articles Of Confederation
This essay will examine why the Articles of Confederation; the first national compact
that had executive branch and legislative branch with limited national government
power, failed to solve national problems, inflation, depression. After the American
Revolution, Americans were very suspicious with a strong central government, as
they think the United State government would control over tariff and limited human
rights just like what Great Britain had done in the past. On July of 1776, John
Dickinson submitted a blueprint for a strong national government to the Continental
Congress, however, his colleagues transformed his plan into a government that needs
the state s authority to execute any taxes, laws, or amendments. Since the national
government holds very little power, this created many conflicts such as tariffs, lack
of finances to maintain the army, no power to end rebellions. It was impossible for
the Article of Confederation to solve any postwar problems that America was facing
at that time due to high unemployed sailors, debt ridden farmers, and destitute
widows and orphans.
The Articles of Confederation gives the congress to raise taxes, but the state has the
authority to deny to pay its expenses. The states paid roughly seventy percent of what
they owed, most states paid remarkably less (Georgia did not paid anything). This
article negatively impacted America. As America just granted independence from
Great Britain, it was a very fresh country, the stability of

familier.According to international Energy Agency, renewables will remain the
fastest growing source of electricity in to 2021, reaching nearly 30% of all power

elements, Air is the most concentrated on thought. Air is constantly moving and
advantage of that is we can use wind mills to create free electricity, this is not only
free of cost but environment friendly too.The composition of air is just right for life
on Earth, though. We use a lot of the oxygen we get from the air, then breathe out
carbon dioxide which plants need to manufacture their food. Plants, in turn, give off
oxygen this way it maintains the oxygen level on earth. We are cutting the trees, over
using electricity , burning fossils and big factories have polluted this precious air that
gives us life.
Fire This element is considered to be the first element that was born when the
universe was created. Fire is attributed with transformational and purifying powers.
