For the Obama hope poster I am reminded of the political campaign of him running and the
photograph the poster referenced. In the second and third poster I am reminded of the first

In ancient Greece, societal conventions and norms permeated all aspects of life. The arts were
especially influenced by the ideals and beliefs of society. Gender was especially regulated in
everyday life, something we see reflected in many art forms. The ancient Greeks were extremely
influential in both the visual and dramatic arts. Throughout the development of these styles, we see
how society s established gender norms permeated the works of artists and playwrights alike. This
is especially true in the depictions of dramatic heroines. Women from famous legends and myth

McCandless, trying to break away from the path society and his parents have paved for him.
Throughout the many months he spends on the road he meets many people who have a deep
impact on him, even though he probably would not admit to that until the end. As a final test of the
change in his mentality and confirmation of his independency from civilization and all the negative
aspects it represents, Christopher makes his way to Alaska. The storyline follows two different parts
of his life, including flashbacks to his childhood and adolescence, intertwined with the deep disdain
he has for his parents. The first timeline represents his journey to Alaska, the preparation that went
