Politics Is Fueled By Corruption
Politics is fueled by corruption. It causes government involved citizens to over use their power into
manipulating others to achieve what they want. In All the King s Men, written by Robert Pen Warren,
Warren distributes politics to show how Willie Stark transformed. His character gradually deteriorates
as a person throughout the political novel leading up to his death. Warren writes to exemplify politics
and how it ruined lives of well rounded people. Warren demonstrates the role of politics as evil
because he wants to prove the corrupted doings of politics. Novel, All the King s Men, Willie Stark is
slowly, but thoroughly corrupted by multiple political instances that ultimately lead to his death.
Politics has a life of its own. Before anyone ponders the idea of entering politics, people should know
their life as a kind, average citizen will fly out the door. Willie Stark was an old farm boy who had a
life of work. The town loved him as a person; he was kind and courteous to all of the citizens. Before
he had the idea of running for governor, he had what he believed to be the truth set on his mind. He
wanted to make a change to his home town, Mason City, and he wanted there to be truth in the
government. His plans were meant for good, not evil. In All the King s Men, Warren wrote Stark s
opinion, Man is conceived in sin and born in corruption, and he passeth from the stink of the didie to
the stench of the shroud. There is always something (223). Stark began with

What Is Qualitative Research
The purpose of conduct this paper is to address the qualitative research method are always deal with
subjectivity compare to quantitative. First, what is research? Research was exploring the distinctions
between qualitative and quantitative forms of research that we need to consider the different between
ontological and epistemological questions we considered when discussing positivism, interpretive and
critical paradigms. Qualitative as known as critical studies have generated insightful theories,
concepts, and findings that can be explored further and advanced using quantitative approaches.
Furthermore, qualitative research is used by anthropologies and sociologist as a method of inquiry in
the early decades by 20 century. Besides that, qualitative research methods used are more subjective
compare to quantitative research and furthermore do not include statistical analysis and empirical
calculation in research. Based on research, I found that different researcher have different view and
definition of qualitative research. Based on Punch (1998: 4), he mentioned qualitative research is

The Sampling Approach
One of the strengths of the sampling approach is that the external validity is strong for the population
of interest: the sample is randomly selected from veterans with PTSD all over the United States. The
external validity is not strong for individuals who do not suffer from PTSD, or for individuals who do
not live in the United States, as they are not included in the study. The random assignment of the study
is also a strength, as this will help reduce sampling error and increase generalizability (Rubin Babbie,
2016). Lastly, the compensation for completing the study could also be viewed as a strength, as it is
likely to increase the amount of participation; a larger sample is beneficial as it will yield more results
and make the study more general to the population of interest (Rubin Babbie, 2016).
Research Design The name of the design is: experimental treatment pretest posttest comparison
design. After the participants are randomly selected for one of the four groups (one to receive PE, one
to receive CPT, one to receive both PE and CPT, and one that does not receive an intervention), they
are then administered the Posttraumatic Cognitions Inventory scale (Foa et al., 1999). The
Posttraumatic Cognitions Inventory scale is used to measure PTSD symptoms, including frequency of
dissociative reactions, recurrent distressing dreams, negative alterations in cognitions and mood, and
marked alterations in arousal and reactivity, and is a reliable and valid scale (Foa et

An organization who strives to adapt with the surrounding environment, internally and externally, has
a better chance of surviving in a competitive market than one who does not. To be an effective
learning organization the management must be willing to listen to its employees and their customers to
grow their brands. When management is open with their employees through all levels of the
organization, the employees will be more willing to speak their minds. Once employees speak up with
innovative ideas, leadership must show they are listening by giving feedback or integrating those ideas

If an organization is already established and wants to become an effective learning organization they
have to take into account their relationship with their employees at the time they make this decision. If
the employees who currently work for management are not self energized, committed, responsible and
creative beings (Kinicki, 2012) (or any combination thereof) like McGregor assumes, they will not be
able to jump in to some of the activities that leading organizations are doing. Managers will need to
understand that if they developed an environment where management is superior and the employees
are workers, any part of the human relations theory will not benefit them quickly. Managers will need
to gain the trust of their employees and actually listen to their emotions. International organizations
will have to integrate the culture s values in which they are working in. Other countries norms may not
fall under the assumption that employees can seek responsibility. There are countries who view their
leadership as royalty and that norm carries over to their business. Management and employees may
not be able to socialize as easily as American based business. This would create a gap in the employee

Empiricist Skepticism Vs. Kant s Transcendental Idealism
Hume s empiricist skepticism vs. Kant s transcendental idealism
David Hume was a Scottish philosopher in the eighteenth century that had some pretty interesting
views on cause and effect, which made him an empiricist. This just means that he believed that you
had to experience something in order to know about it. David Hume was also best known for his
influence on the systems of philosophical empiricism, skepticism, and naturalism. Immanuel Kant was
a German philosopher and like Hume, was in the eighteenth century. Kant had many great points in
his life and research and his beliefs, to this day, continue to have massive influences on contemporary
philosophy. Especially in the fields of metaphysics, epistemology, political theory, and aesthetics. In
this paper, we will discuss David Hume s empiricist skepticism with Immanuel Kant s theory of
transcendental idealism.
Like stated earlier, David Hume had a very interesting view on cause and effect or causality. Like me,
many of us believe that cause and effect go together hand in hand. For example, take the billiards
game pool, If I hit the cue ball into the eight ball, we will call this idea one, and the eight ball proceeds
towards the designed pocket, we will call this idea two, this would be cause and effect. I did
something that made something else do something. Many philosophers have used this idea also.
Thomas Aquinas wrote in his Summa Theologica that every cause is dependent on a previous cause.
This proceeds back to the very first motion. If there is no first motion then there will be no immediate
cause or even a final cause. Now, David Hume was a bit different. Hume s critique was that our
experience was basically two ideas that have customarily became conjoined with each other. These
two ideas could absolutely be unrelated, but has always occurred together in the past. Hume s belief is
that our minds have added something extra. Our minds would add through experience that because the
cue ball hit the eight ball, then the effect would be the eight ball moving. When in reality it has given
us the habitual occurrence that the eight ball moves when hit by the cue ball.
With this being said, it is really hard for me to believe

likelihood of anorexic behavior. The meta analysis conducted by Dina conveys the idea that the body
types and images that are projected by the media encourage decreased body satisfaction in

The Evolution of the Meaning of Life
The complex idea of the meaning of life came to be first through the Hindu teachings. The four main
purposes of life are Dharma meaning to act virtuously and righteously. Artha means the prosperity and
successfulness in one s life. Kama being the concept of whatever action a person makes, they will
receive the same back. Moksha is the proceeding of a spirit into another being according to their past
life.
Following the Hindus, then came the Dao teachings of life, using the five elements earth, wind, fire,
water, and air for fulfilling one s personal goal in accomplishing a successful life. Through the use of
the elements, Daoists have found certain rules of nature that are shown in our human existence.
Because of the elements, our lives are constantly affected by outside forces and by nature itself.
Therefore knowledge of the principles of nature will help a person move from being troubled by
outside forces to being led by the natural inside forces that are centered in peace beyond outside
forces. By following Tao, or the way, one must mentally teach oneself the capabilities of being
successful in life on Earth. Tao is not a god but more of a way or self encouragement type of
movement.
The meaning of life in Confucianism is to follow the ways of Confucius to achieve your personal goal.
Confucius believed that Tien Ming was that all living things are under the ultimate control

The Green Revolution
The world s worst recorded food disaster occurred in 1943 in British ruled India. Known as the Bengal
Famine, an estimated 4 million people died of hunger that year in eastern India (which included today
s Bangladesh). Initially, this catastrophe was attributed to an acute shortfall in food production in the
area. However, Indian economist Amartya Sen (recipient of the Nobel Prize for Economics, 1998) has
established that while food shortage was a contributor to the problem, a more potent factor was the
result of hysteria related to World War II, which made food supply a low priority for the British rulers.

Examples Of Existentialism In Waiting For Godot
The play Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett is famous for its cyclic storyline and non existing plot.
In the lines, Beckett incorporates themes of existentialism and the loss of hope. Throughout the two
acts of the play, the main protagonists, Vladimir and Estragon, spend their days waiting aimlessly for a
mysterious figure named Godot. While central in the play, Godot never makes an appearance in any
act, and merely exists as a name. While Pozzo and Lucky, two other characters make their appearance
in each act of the play, the boy is perhaps the most mysterious and intriguing. The boy, whom appears
towards the end of each act, exemplifies the never ending cycle of the search for hope that remains
unfulfilled through the use of symbolism, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If hope does not exist, Vladimir and Estragon will never fulfill their desires. Throughout the boy s
appearance, Vladimir continues to interrogate him, asking him several questions about the mysterious
figure that is Godot. Asking the boy about Godot, Vladimir asks, What does he do, Mr. Godot? Do
you hear me? (106), to which the boy merely replies as He does nothing, Sir (106). Thus, the futile
nature of hope is depicted through Beckett s use of symbolism. As Godot symbolizes hope, and the
boy stated that He (Godot) does nothing... (106), this hints the redundant existence of hope. Rather, it
is merely something individuals rely on to keep living, as for the case of Vladimir and Estragon, who
continuously wait for Godot. While they contemplate suicide many times throughout the book, it is
their motivation and continuous strive to wait for Godot that keeps them living to the next day. While
Godot has failed Vladimir and Estragon many times, failing to show up to the exact spot that they
believed they would meet him, they keep on waiting. Their strive and motivation is depicted as
Vladimir says, Tell him... Tell him you saw me and that... That you saw me. You re sure you saw me,
you won t come and tell me to morrow that you never saw me!

The Treaty Of Versailles Necessary
World War II was one of the bloodiest wars ever fought. World War II cost over 60 million lives and
trillions of dollars. However, the entire war could of been prevented. Many wars in history could have
been prevented. Rash decisions ignite wars and change history forever. One example of a rash
decision is the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles required Germany to pay excessive
reparations. This was impossible at the time, as the country was just in a long and expensive war.
Another irrational decision was the laws of the League of Nations. The League of Nations was a good
idea, but it had flaws. Allowing members to leave the League of Nations at anytime without
consequences is an example of a flaw. Germany used this to their advantage and left it in 1933.
Finally, the leaders of Europe should not have pacified Hitler, like they did in the Munich Conference
in 1938. Changes to the Treaty of Versailles, and the League of Nations, and by not practicing a policy
of appeasement against Hitler could have prevented World War II.
The Treaty of Versailles blamed Germany for the losses France experienced in World War I. The treaty
required Germany to pay for these losses. Germany was required to pay France 132 billion marks in
reparations. This fine was excessive in order to show that Germany was weak and to further weaken
the German government. This caused inflation. The German government inflated the amount of
money so much that it became so worthless that people used

Summary and Reflection of Both Sides Of Time by Caroline...
For the Third Quarter SSR Project I chose the book Both Sides Of Time by Caroline B. Cooney. I
settled on this fiction book not only because I ve read all three books in Cooney s series Time
Travelers Quartet, but it just so happens to be my favorite out of all of them. This book is gripping to
me because of the events happening in the book. A hopeless romantic going back in time, involved in
two love triangles in two different centuries, then forced to leave one that she loves either way. I relish
reading any kind of love stories, but I especially enjoyed this one because of the twisted storylines.

Harriet and she accepted. She thought that now that Ms. Lockwood had Strat s eyes only for on her,
she wouldn t have chance on marrying who she loved, which was Hiram Stratton, and thought that
marriage to someone she didn t love would be better than absolutely no marriage at all. Mr. Rowwels
turned out to be Mathew s murderer and Annie ended up going back to her own time, in 1995. There,
she tells her mother that her father is cheating on her. Then poor Annie realizes, in the 19th century,
Strat is doing the same thing to Harriet and feels guilty, because it s her fault. So to not interfere with
history, she goes back to the 18th century, kisses Strat then breaks up with him, and goes back to her
own time very heart broken about it.
If I needed to change any part of the story to make it more Hollywood style, it would be to make some
parts of the story a little more intense and dramatic. For example, I think that Harriet s jealousy of
Annie should be emphasized more in the film. In the film, Harriet should try to do schism things to
Annie and Strat s relationship or cry to Strat s family to convince them to hate

Mary Wigman Research Paper
Mary Wigman rejected ballet technique in her dance style, perceiving classical ballet technique as
artificial and confining. Wigman believed that the emphasis should be on the transcendent nature and
spiritual purpose of the dance, while embodying essentialism (pg. 6, Newhall). She knew she was not
the best dancer in the room, but she knew how to be in touch with her emotions while dancing. She
drew upon sources from what was going on in the world during the early 1900 s from war to the
rebellion against the authoritarian tradition of the church, monarchy, and feudalism (pg. 73, Newhall).
Wigman freed dance from its slave like overtone with music and reestablished its independence of an

Persuasive Essay On Polar Bears
As the days go by, the weather gets warmer and the entire world population is affected in one way or
another. Global warming has long been an issue scientists have been trying to raise awareness of. Not
only does it bring rising average temperatures, but it has an immense impact on the largest marine
mammal, the polar bear. The rising temperatures has caused polar bears to lose habitat and are forcing
them to move downward to search for alternative food sources. As a result, polar bears will become
extinct because of their hunting habits, their meat based diet, and competition with the grizzly bear.
The polar bear is in danger of becoming extinct largely due to to the fact that the warm weather is
giving them an insufficient amount of time to hunt. According to the article Polar Bear , Polar bears
can only survive in areas where the oceans freeze, allowing them to hunt seals living under, on, or in

Pleasantville and Back to the Future
Everything everywhere is constantly changing. People change, weather changes, plans change,
everything changes; you can t escape change. Two movies that really illustrate the concept of change
are Pleasantville and Back to the Future. In both of these movies, the main characters Marty, David,
and Jennifer are sent back into the times of the 1950s and are faced with a world completely different
from their own. In Pleasantville, David and Jennifer get stuck in David s favourite television show
Pleasantville as the characters Bud and Mary Sue. Jennifer seems to want to stir things up, creating
change throughout Pleasantville, while David is doing all he can to stop Jennifer from destroying their
perfect world. On the other hand, in Back to the Future, Marty gets sent back in time to when his
parents were his age. Unfortunately, he runs into his parents, causing his mother to fall for him,
supposedly interfering with Marty s future. All of these main characters have to deal with a lot of
change the key concept these movies have in common. While Pleasantville and Back to the Future
both focus on the concept of time and change, both movies illustrate change from different
perspectives. These movies also have other similar concepts, such as racism and the idea of the ideal
family ; however, they both differ by discussing other social issues as well. Before traveling back in
time to the 1950s, the characters in both of the movies acted very similarly. In both Pleasantville

NHS Core Values
This assignment will discuss the core values that underpin social and health service delivery and will
compare the current health service provision with health care services at the inception of the NHS.
The NHS has seven core values that aim to ensure that quality care is delivered to everyone regardless
of their gender, religion, race, age, wealth or sexual orientation. These values have been developed by
the general public, patients and staff, with local authorities having to develop and adapt these to
provide personalised care. These values not only underpin the social and health delivery service, but
also influence the legislation regarding care. For example the Care Act 2014 looks at integrating care,

This has not changed in the current NHS, albeit more values have been added to improve service

The National Health Service (NHS) was planned as a three tier structure. With the Minister of Health
at the top and below were the three tiers designed to interact with each other to suit the needs of the
patient. These tiers were voluntary and municipal hospitals supervised by Regional hospital boards,
family doctors, dentists, opticians and pharmacists who were self employed professionals contracted

Blood Evidence In Forensic Investigation
We ve all seen the cop shows, however, what they neglect to show is the full extent of the work people
like forensic analysts are responsible for behind the scenes. One of the uttermost important things they
do is find out where the blood is at a crime scene, this can be difficult if the blood evidence has been
cleaned. The primary way they find blood, even if it isn t visible is by using luminol. One issue with
using luminol is that the light doesn t last very long (K. L. Lerner B. W. Lerner (Eds.), 2006).
Scientists, Katie Sosebee and Zenobia Merchant, are conducting experiments to test the effect of
different temperature water to the longevity of luminols light. Luminol is a chemiluminescent

The Drone Age Is Coming Per Galeotti
Executive Summary
The drone age is coming per Galeotti . It has been estimated that annual spending on drones around
the world will almost double to $11.4 billion by 2022. New technology has been driven by the
military, and drones are critical to military operations. Due to changing times, drone use is rapidly
adjusting to commercial use by civilians.
This drone revolution has massive implications, ranging from legal and moral to economic and
geopolitical. It will be a deeply disruptive technology, able on the one hand to provide undreamt of
capacities to impoverished people and countries, and on the other to widen the gap between haves and
have nots. It may prove a creative, empowering experience, but also has the potential to be
destructive, destabilizing and divisive.
Drone one day will fight our wars and be a huge asset on the battlefield as well as controlling hostile
or volatile situations.
Currently, drone technology is being driven by military applications, and this will continue as they
become increasingly varied in their roles. Drones will do our work. Drones will carry out tasks
humans cannot, or do not want to do themselves. From remotely piloted ambulances to leading SWAT
raids in hostile situations, from collecting garbage to moving goods, they become ubiquitous, even
making their way into the media, gathering news footage and becoming entertainment tools.
Their ability to linger for long periods of time allows this real time intelligence to be

black bear Essay
Black Bears
The black bear is the smallest North American bear. The adults are usually less than six feet long and
stand about two to three feet tall at shoulders. The weight of a black bear varies between 125 500

strong claws, which is used for tearing, digging, and climbing. One single hit from the front paw is

If the officer traps the bear, the officer has to fill out a form to tell where it was captured, and what the
problem was. Then the officer tags the bears ear and fills out information about the bear itself. When
the officer releases the black bear, he has to tell the date, county, and exact location. After this is done,
the officer will be able to if it is the same bear when another black bear is caught and has a tag. The
very last resort in getting rid of a black bear is shooting it. If this is the case, a conservation officer
will have to be the one to kill the black bear. If any damage is done the person should check and see if
the damage is covered by the bear damage compensation. Not all damage is covered. Sometimes no
damage at all is covered (Houchins 2). Most problems with black bears are caused by human error. If
a person gets rid of their trash and edible products properly, they will most likely not have a problem

The mating season for a black bear differs from most animals. Most animal s breed when they are in

How Can Social Justice Become A Fad
Movements such as Black Lives Matter and the gay rights movement have gained rapid popularity in
modern society. This spike of interest in social justice in pop culture has created a fad in which
celebrities, public figures, and regular citizens feel an underlying pressure to support social justice
movements which alter rights for large demographics of people. And while the cultural trend of social
justice becoming a fad creates the illusion of a more progressive society, the truth of the matter is that
the popularity of such movements can be detrimental to the cause because it gives the false
appearance of universal acceptance when the stigma against oppressed groups is still prevalent in
society. Indubitably, fads will fade, which is especially threatening in the case of social justice, which
has a much greater consequence once the popularity surrounding it disappears. Removing the illusion
of progress and calling out the hypocrisy behind those who feign support for their own personal gain
and popularity can counter the insidious nature of the social justice fad.
Popularity can be powerful in the sense that movements can gain a lot of traction by drawing attention
to problems; however, this power is often wasted by the inability to utilize public outrage into an

Description Of An Electrocardiogram, Or Ecg Or Ekg
Introduction
An Electrocardiogram, or ECG or EKG, is a recording of the hearts electrical activity as a graph over
a period of time, as detected by electrodes attached to the outer surface of the skin and recorded by a
device external of the body (Boundless). The graph of an ECG can identify various things initiated by
the heart, such as its rate, rhythm, a decrease in blood flow, and a possible enlargement. For a healthy
individual, a typical ECG shows the whole cardiac cycle or heart beat which includes a P wave (Atrial
depolarization), a QRS complex (Ventricular depolarization), and a T wave (Ventricular
repolarization). The ECG s first spike or P wave is triggered by the Sinoatrial node (SA node), which
is also known as the pacemaker and the electrical impulse from the atria to the ventricles is conducted
by the atrioventricular node (AV node). During each heart beat the heart muscle depolarizes, this is
detected on the skin where the ECG electrodes are placed by the machine and then translated into a
linear representation (Boundless). The resting membrane potential of a heart cell is 60mv, when an
influx of positive ions enter the cell (NA+ and CA++) depolarization takes place causing the heart to
contract. This action takes place during the peak of the P wave (Atria systole). The QRS complex
represent when the left and right ventricles contract and depolarize, also called ventricular systole.
This action normally takes place at the highest amplitude in the complex,

One Child Policy Dbq
The one child policy was established in China in 1979 because the population was growing extremely
fast. The one child policy is a law that prevents families from having more than one child. It only
applies to the Han Chinese ethnic group, which makes up 90% of the Chinese population. Sibling less
parents are allowed to have two children. Some Chinese people are in favor of the one child policy
(OCP) because their lives were made easier. Other people felt it was not fair to have their rights taken

People s view on the OCP is biased based on their experience. Document F tells the story of 2 kids

that if you have siblings your parents would not give you the most they could give you. He said
everyone would be average because you would be lacking emotional and financial support. Your
parents would have to share whatever they could offer with all their children. I think that is a biased
thought because very successful people like Bill Gates, Yao Ming, and Jackie Chan all had siblings
and still did good in life. Both the boy and the girl are only thinking on how it affects them and not the
future of the country. All in all, I don t think that the one child policy was a good idea. People should

Water Problems in Texas Essay
Texas, with its abundances of natural resources, is facing a new demon, one that doesn t even seem
possible, a shortage of water. Water, without it nothing can survive. Texas is the second largest state
for landmass in the nation and ninth for water square miles. Within the borders of Texas are more than
100 lakes, 14 major rivers, and 23 aquifers, so why has water become such an important issue for the
state? Politicians and conservationists all agree that without a new working water plan, the state could
be facing one of the most damaging environmental disasters they have ever seen. The issues that shape
the states positions are population growth, current drought conditions, and who actually owns the
water.

living in the state of Texas. (Tannahill) The population growth rate, whether by legal or illegal means
is only one of the issues that has been troubling state law makers and affecting the state s water plan.
The second issue that is affecting Texas water is the drought conditions that the state is currently
suffering from.
Since 1990 Texas has seen a trend towards warmer and drier summers than usual. Texas which
geographically sits in the south central part of the United States with an extensive border with the Gulf
of Mexico gets its weather patterns from both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Researchers have
shown that warmer than normal temperatures in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans often lead to drier
than normal summers. The research also shows that these trends will last for more than 20 to 25 years.
Since we have been in this weather pattern since 1990, (Hembreee), hopefully we are nearing the end
of the dry cycle. However, Mother Nature is never predictable. Meteorologists are only able to
speculate about a week in advanced with any certainty. The eastern Pacific Ocean cycles between
three phases, the three phases are El Nino, La Nina, and Neutral phase. La Nina is cooling of the sea
surface temperatures and tends to bring more rain into the Gulf of Mexico and Texas. On the opposite

The Ozone Threat: Managing with Uncertainty
The ozone layer serves as protection of the Earth from the sun s harmful ultraviolet rays. Over a span
of decades it has been found out and continuously theorized that the said layer is thinning or depleting.
This depletion is speculated by scientific experts to have negative effects to human beings and most
importantly to the environment.
Studies have been done regarding the possible negative effects of the depletion of the ozone layer.
First, it was said that a small 5% decrease in the ozone would probably produce thousands of new
cases of skin cancer every year. Second, solar radiation can damage the planktons in the oceans which

In 1985, 21 nations including the US met and agreed to cooperate in atmospheric research and the
monitoring of ozone levels. Eventually, no agreement on restricting the use of CFCs was reached
because some nations refused to abide. In the same year, a scientist reported that a giant hole in the
ozone layer over the Antarctic has been developing. It was shortly confirmed after satellite
observations saw the presence of the said hole. It was the first clear direct evidence that the ozone

DuPont also stated that its position was to be prudent to take precautionary measures to limit CFC
growth worldwide. However, DuPont and other US producers lobbied against any federal legislation

Genetics And Biotechnology And Its Effect On The World...
The definition of biotechnology, according to the fourth addition biology book from BJU press, states
that Biotechnology is the use of technology to enhance living organisms and processes.
Their are many aspects of biotechnoogy including cloning, genetic engineering, stem cell technology,
gene therapy and genetically modified plants and food. I will be splitting this paper off into sections
by these specific aspects in order to learn more about genetics and biotechnology and its effect on the
world around us. So let s dive in. Section 1. Cloning
There are three common types of clones:natural clones, artificial clones and last but not least human
clones.
Natural cloning occurs when animals without man s intervention create a native, unaffected genetic
copy of themselves as their young. This occurs by asexually reproduction, a process in which certain
animals don t need two parents in order to create a young, but can make sperm themselves. Organisms
that are multicellular can reproduce by processes such as: fragmentation, budding or produce spores
from asexual reproduction from natural clones. Natural clones make an exact genetic copy of
themselves except in the fetus stage. The organisms that can make a natural clone are some jellyfish,
some insects and some worms. Unlike most animals that are more common to us such as fish, birds
and mammals reproduce sexually making them inapplicable for natural cloning. Unlike the animal
kingdom, plants can easily make clones and

Pros And Cons Of Batman And Superman
Batman and Superman are DC s most valuable super heroes. They fight crime, help those in need, and
protect their cities. Truly that is hero, someone we should look up to. Or is it? Today I was tasked with
deciding whether or not, Batman and Superman do more harm than good as role models and cultural
icons. I have come to the conclusion that they do more harm than good. It s important to note that I
will be basing most of my information on the Superman and Batman movie. I have 3 main reasons
why I believe this, 1 they are not relatable, 2 they solve their problems through violence, and 3 they
are very dark. Let s begin with point one.
The first reason why I agree with the statement, As role models and cultural icons, Batman and
Superman do more harm than good. Is because of how unrelatable they are to people. Starting with
Superman, he is an alien from a different world. He has powers that no one on earth can attain,
unbreakable skin, laser eyes, the ability to fly by himself, and X ray vision (Superman s). No one can
relate to any of those powers (Superman). Meanwhile, Batman is an orphan, who has billions of
dollars. Some people can relate with the loss of a loved one but very, very few have access to even a
million dollars. We look at them and see something that we can never be. Batman and Superman are
role models and cultural icons that do more harm than good.
The second reason why Batman and Superman as role models and cultural icons do more harm than
good is because they solve the majority of their problems through violence. Dr. Sharon Lamb states,
Today s superhero is too much like an action hero who participates in non stop violence...rarely speaks
to the virtue of doing good for humanity, (Chivers). She is 100% correct in this. In the 2013 movie,
Man of Steel, our hero flies about destroying the city he swore to protect. Buildings fall, lives are
taken, and superman brings up no mention of any virtue by the end of the film. He uses violence. This
continues on in basically every show that includes him. Bad guy shows up, does a bad thing, and
Superman flies over, beats up the villain and wins the day. Now we examine Batman. He does the
exact same thing, gliding around his city beating up crime and

Michael Naranjo Argument Essay
Michael Naranjo s speech was lewd and obscene. In order to determine the school s ability to restrict
his speech, it must occupy the area within the capability of the school to extend its restrictions off of

In 1964 Barbara Hulanicki opened a store called Biba, her store grew in popularity very quickly.
Barbara opened the store with her husband, Stephen Fitz Simon. Biba, the name of her store, started
out as a small mail order clothing company. Her store grew very popular very quickly (Ferrier). After
Biba grew very popular, Barbara decided that she needed to expand so she bought a rundown Art
Deco department store. She soon opened her new and improved store and called it Big Biba. Big Biba

Biba was one of the first modern fashion brands(Crocker). Biba had all of the latest fashion, which she
created, and all of the products you needed for your daily life(Oosterhoff). In Every city, street, and
corner in Britain, you would find girls wearing Barbara s clothing. The Friday night television show
Ready, Steady, Go was part of making Barbara s store such a success. Whatever Biba outfit the show s
host wore on the Friday night was available to girls the next day(Oosterhoff). Another thing that made
Barbara a triumph was the Big Biba store. Big Biba was a Willy Wonka factory for fashion, and an
spectacular display of interior design and intelligent marketing(Oosterhoff). Both of these were factors
that made Barbaras store and clothing so prominent. Altogether, Barbaras unique and affordable

Abstract
The study tried to show the role of listening comprehension in cognitivist, meta cognitivist and
behavioristic based language learning methods. Reviewing the literature it was found that listening has
different roles in the methods. It was found that behaviorism limits listening to grammar and
pronunciation drills and does not pay much attention to listening as an active skill. It was ... Show

Listeners must discriminate between sounds, understand vocabulary and grammatical structures,
interpret stress and intention, retain and interpret this within the immediate as well as the larger socio
cultural context of the utterance (Wipf, 1984). Listeners use both bottom up processers and top down
processes to comprehend (Guo and Wills ,1999). Listening comprehension has different roles in
different language learning theories. Behaviorism emphasizes changes in behaviors due to the
influence and control of the external environment, rather than the internal thought process of the
subject (Merriam and Caffarella, 1999). Anderson
(2002) mentioned that metacognition can be defined simply as thinking about thinking. He also
mentioned that Cognitivism focuses more on more complex cognitive processes such as thinking,
problem solving, language, concept formation and information processing. Listening plays a crucial
role in students language development. Krashen (1985) argues that people acquire language by
understanding the linguistic information they hear. Thus language acquisition is achieved mainly
through receiving understandable input and listening ability is the critical component in achieving
understandable language input. Given the importance of listening in language learning and teaching,
this research tries to investigate the role of listening

How Color And The Affects It Has On The Human Brain
Color is any hue, tint, or shade of light that can be separated as in a spectrum or rainbow as defined by
the Oxford English Dictionary. There have been many studies concerning color and the affects it has
on the human brain. According to Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe, a eighteenth century writer, each
color evokes a different emotion or sensation, which can be seen and studied using a prism, the grand
instrument in the experimental field of research into light. So why does color matter in marketing? In
a recent study, researchers found that 92.6% of people put most importance on visual factors when
purchasing products, (Morton). A key factor to visual composition is color choices, pairings, schemes,
and the emotions and feelings each of those colors evoke.
The human brains reaction to color is called color psychology. Marketers consider the meaning behind
each color when designing merchandise packaging, and consumers choose certain products because
they find the packaging to be appealing, and subconsciously playing into the plans of the companies.
The history and study of color has presented a plethora of information regarding the important role
color plays in everyday life. The scientific reasoning behind color psychology has yet to be specified
due to the wide variety of factors that could affect the results, such as personal preference, personal
history, and environmental conditions. Although marketers might not consider such specific details of
color psychology, there

Juvenile Crimes Are Classified As Juvenile Delinquents
In the United States children and adolescents that partake in illegal behavior or commit crimes are
classified as juvenile delinquents. Those who are tried by the juvenile court system and continue their
illegal behavior are classified as repeat offenders. Juvenile crime can be either status offenses, like
under age drinking and range to violent crime, such as rape, aggravated assault, and even property
crimes. In many cases juveniles commit heinous acts that one would think only an adult is capable of
doing, this leads to sentences of life without parole.
In the past juveniles have been sentenced to life without parole, recent U.S. Supreme Court cases have
abolished this aw stating it violates their rights. Even though it reduces the recidivism

I Felt The Harsh Dirt Under My Feet
I felt the harsh dirt under my feet. Bobbing my head, I swayed back and forth struggling to avoid
hitting my head on the low branches that filled the dense forest. In the background of my thoughts, I
heard my friends trying to talk to me, asking me, Hey, you gonna jump? Mmm..hmmm, I replied.
Their question didn t matter to me, I wasn t interested in what they had to say, I was intensely focused
on what I was about to do. Anxiously, I went up to the edge of the cliff, and observed what I would
soon be hurdling into. Looking down, saw brown, scummy water below the dirt cliff that was keeping
the distance between me and the water. Suddenly, I felt hands on my back, and my feet left the dirt.
Without thinking, I swung my arms rapidly back and forth. Rapidly and pathetically I reached around
for something to keep me from plunging into the turbid water. There was no use, I was already
descending towards the water at a very rapid pace. My feet eventually reached the water, after what
felt like forever. I had annihilated the water that used to be as smooth as glass, because of the absence
of disturbance it once had. With the frigid water surrounding my body, chills went up my spine and
into my shoulders. While submerged in the water, I came to the conclusion that my friends and brother
probably left me, to frighten me. Why else would they pull a prank on me and leave me stranded in the
water? While drifting to the bottom of the creek, I realized that as a result of my friends

  • 2. Politics Is Fueled By Corruption Politics is fueled by corruption. It causes government involved citizens to over use their power into manipulating others to achieve what they want. In All the King s Men, written by Robert Pen Warren, Warren distributes politics to show how Willie Stark transformed. His character gradually deteriorates as a person throughout the political novel leading up to his death. Warren writes to exemplify politics and how it ruined lives of well rounded people. Warren demonstrates the role of politics as evil because he wants to prove the corrupted doings of politics. Novel, All the King s Men, Willie Stark is slowly, but thoroughly corrupted by multiple political instances that ultimately lead to his death. Politics has a life of its own. Before anyone ponders the idea of entering politics, people should know their life as a kind, average citizen will fly out the door. Willie Stark was an old farm boy who had a life of work. The town loved him as a person; he was kind and courteous to all of the citizens. Before he had the idea of running for governor, he had what he believed to be the truth set on his mind. He wanted to make a change to his home town, Mason City, and he wanted there to be truth in the government. His plans were meant for good, not evil. In All the King s Men, Warren wrote Stark s opinion, Man is conceived in sin and born in corruption, and he passeth from the stink of the didie to the stench of the shroud. There is always something (223). Stark began with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 4. The Sampling Approach One of the strengths of the sampling approach is that the external validity is strong for the population of interest: the sample is randomly selected from veterans with PTSD all over the United States. The external validity is not strong for individuals who do not suffer from PTSD, or for individuals who do not live in the United States, as they are not included in the study. The random assignment of the study is also a strength, as this will help reduce sampling error and increase generalizability (Rubin Babbie, 2016). Lastly, the compensation for completing the study could also be viewed as a strength, as it is likely to increase the amount of participation; a larger sample is beneficial as it will yield more results and make the study more general to the population of interest (Rubin Babbie, 2016). Research Design The name of the design is: experimental treatment pretest posttest comparison design. After the participants are randomly selected for one of the four groups (one to receive PE, one to receive CPT, one to receive both PE and CPT, and one that does not receive an intervention), they are then administered the Posttraumatic Cognitions Inventory scale (Foa et al., 1999). Managers will need to gain the trust of their employees and actually listen to their emotions. International organizations will have to integrate the culture s values in which they are working in. • 6. Empiricist Skepticism Vs. Kant s Transcendental Idealism Hume s empiricist skepticism vs. Kant s transcendental idealism David Hume was a Scottish philosopher in the eighteenth century that had some pretty interesting views on cause and effect, which made him an empiricist. This just means that he believed that you had to experience something in order to know about it. David Hume was also best known for his influence on the systems of philosophical empiricism, skepticism, and naturalism. Immanuel Kant was a German philosopher and like Hume, was in the eighteenth century. Kant had many great points in his life and research and his beliefs, to this day, continue to have massive influences on contemporary philosophy. Especially in the fields of metaphysics, epistemology, political theory, and aesthetics. In this paper, we will discuss David Hume s empiricist skepticism with Immanuel Kant s theory of transcendental idealism. Like stated earlier, David Hume had a very interesting view on cause and effect or causality. Like me, many of us believe that cause and effect go together hand in hand. For example, take the billiards game pool, If I hit the cue ball into the eight ball, we will call this idea one, and the eight ball proceeds towards the designed pocket, we will call this idea two, this would be cause and effect. I did something that made something else do something. Many philosophers have used this idea also. Thomas Aquinas wrote in his Summa Theologica that every cause is dependent on a previous cause. This proceeds back to the very first motion. If there is no first motion then there will be no immediate cause or even a final cause. Now, David Hume was a bit different. Hume s critique was that our experience was basically two ideas that have customarily became conjoined with each other. These two ideas could absolutely be unrelated, but has always occurred together in the past. Hume s belief is that our minds have added something extra. Our minds would add through experience that because the cue ball hit the eight ball, then the effect would be the eight ball moving. When in reality it has given us the habitual occurrence that the eight ball moves when hit by the cue ball. With this being said, it is really hard for me to believe ... • 8. Meaning Of Life Gilberto Fernandez Mrs. Manley Philosophy 13 December 2017 The Evolution of the Meaning of Life The complex idea of the meaning of life came to be first through the Hindu teachings. The four main purposes of life are Dharma meaning to act virtuously and righteously. Artha means the prosperity and successfulness in one s life. Kama being the concept of whatever action a person makes, they will receive the same back. Moksha is the proceeding of a spirit into another being according to their past life. Following the Hindus, then came the Dao teachings of life, using the five elements earth, wind, fire, water, and air for fulfilling one s personal goal in accomplishing a successful life. Through the use of the elements, Daoists have found certain rules of nature that are shown in our human existence. Because of the elements, our lives are constantly affected by outside forces and by nature itself. Therefore knowledge of the principles of nature will help a person move from being troubled by outside forces to being led by the natural inside forces that are centered in peace beyond outside forces. By following Tao, or the way, one must mentally teach oneself the capabilities of being successful in life on Earth. Tao is not a god but more of a way or self encouragement type of movement. The meaning of life in Confucianism is to follow the ways of Confucius to achieve your personal goal. Confucius believed that Tien Ming was that all living things are under the ultimate control ... However, Indian economist Amartya Sen (recipient of the Nobel Prize for Economics, 1998) has established that while food shortage was a contributor to the problem, a more potent factor was the result of hysteria related to World War II, which made food supply a low priority for the British rulers. • 12. Examples Of Existentialism In Waiting For Godot The play Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett is famous for its cyclic storyline and non existing plot. In the lines, Beckett incorporates themes of existentialism and the loss of hope. Throughout the two acts of the play, the main protagonists, Vladimir and Estragon, spend their days waiting aimlessly for a mysterious figure named Godot. While central in the play, Godot never makes an appearance in any act, and merely exists as a name. While Pozzo and Lucky, two other characters make their appearance in each act of the play, the boy is perhaps the most mysterious and intriguing. The boy, whom appears towards the end of each act, exemplifies the never ending cycle of the search for hope that remains unfulfilled through the use of symbolism, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If hope does not exist, Vladimir and Estragon will never fulfill their desires. Throughout the boy s appearance, Vladimir continues to interrogate him, asking him several questions about the mysterious figure that is Godot. Asking the boy about Godot, Vladimir asks, What does he do, Mr. Godot? Do you hear me? (106), to which the boy merely replies as He does nothing, Sir (106). Thus, the futile nature of hope is depicted through Beckett s use of symbolism. As Godot symbolizes hope, and the boy stated that He (Godot) does nothing... (106), this hints the redundant existence of hope. Rather, it is merely something individuals rely on to keep living, as for the case of Vladimir and Estragon, who continuously wait for Godot. While they contemplate suicide many times throughout the book, it is their motivation and continuous strive to wait for Godot that keeps them living to the next day. While Godot has failed Vladimir and Estragon many times, failing to show up to the exact spot that they believed they would meet him, they keep on waiting. Their strive and motivation is depicted as Vladimir says, Tell him... Tell him you saw me and that... That you saw me. • 13. The Treaty Of Versailles Necessary World War II was one of the bloodiest wars ever fought. World War II cost over 60 million lives and trillions of dollars. However, the entire war could of been prevented. Many wars in history could have been prevented. Rash decisions ignite wars and change history forever. One example of a rash decision is the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles required Germany to pay excessive reparations. This was impossible at the time, as the country was just in a long and expensive war. Another irrational decision was the laws of the League of Nations. The League of Nations was a good idea, but it had flaws. Allowing members to leave the League of Nations at anytime without consequences is an example of a flaw. Germany used this to their advantage and left it in 1933. Finally, the leaders of Europe should not have pacified Hitler, like they did in the Munich Conference in 1938. Changes to the Treaty of Versailles, and the League of Nations, and by not practicing a policy of appeasement against Hitler could have prevented World War II. The Treaty of Versailles blamed Germany for the losses France experienced in World War I. The treaty required Germany to pay for these losses. Germany was required to pay France 132 billion marks in reparations. This fine was excessive in order to show that Germany was weak and to further weaken the German government. This caused inflation. Global warming has long been an issue scientists have been trying to raise awareness of. The rising temperatures has caused polar bears to lose habitat and are forcing them to move downward to search for alternative food sources. As a result, polar bears will become extinct because of their hunting habits, their meat based diet, and competition with the grizzly bear. The polar bear is in danger of becoming extinct largely due to to the fact that the warm weather is giving them an insufficient amount of time to hunt. The primary way they find blood, even if it isn t visible is by using luminol. One issue with using luminol is that the light doesn t last very long (K. L. Lerner B. W. Lerner (Eds.), 2006). Scientists, Katie Sosebee and Zenobia Merchant, are conducting experiments to test the effect of different temperature water to the longevity of luminols light. • 23. The Drone Age Is Coming Per Galeotti Executive Summary The drone age is coming per Galeotti . It has been estimated that annual spending on drones around the world will almost double to $11.4 billion by 2022. New technology has been driven by the military, and drones are critical to military operations. Due to changing times, drone use is rapidly adjusting to commercial use by civilians. This drone revolution has massive implications, ranging from legal and moral to economic and geopolitical. It will be a deeply disruptive technology, able on the one hand to provide undreamt of capacities to impoverished people and countries, and on the other to widen the gap between haves and have nots. It may prove a creative, empowering experience, but also has the potential to be destructive, destabilizing and divisive. Drone one day will fight our wars and be a huge asset on the battlefield as well as controlling hostile or volatile situations. Currently, drone technology is being driven by military applications, and this will continue as they become increasingly varied in their roles. Drones will do our work. Drones will carry out tasks humans cannot, or do not want to do themselves. • 25. How Can Social Justice Become A Fad Movements such as Black Lives Matter and the gay rights movement have gained rapid popularity in modern society. This spike of interest in social justice in pop culture has created a fad in which celebrities, public figures, and regular citizens feel an underlying pressure to support social justice movements which alter rights for large demographics of people. And while the cultural trend of social justice becoming a fad creates the illusion of a more progressive society, the truth of the matter is that the popularity of such movements can be detrimental to the cause because it gives the false appearance of universal acceptance when the stigma against oppressed groups is still prevalent in society. Indubitably, fads will fade, which is especially threatening in the case of social justice, which has a much greater consequence once the popularity surrounding it disappears. Removing the illusion of progress and calling out the hypocrisy behind those who feign support for their own personal gain and popularity can counter the insidious nature of the social justice fad. Popularity can be powerful in the sense that movements can gain a lot of traction by drawing attention to problems; however, this power is often wasted by the inability to utilize public outrage into an effective method of ... • 26. Description Of An Electrocardiogram, Or Ecg Or Ekg Introduction An Electrocardiogram, or ECG or EKG, is a recording of the hearts electrical activity as a graph over a period of time, as detected by electrodes attached to the outer surface of the skin and recorded by a device external of the body (Boundless). The graph of an ECG can identify various things initiated by the heart, such as its rate, rhythm, a decrease in blood flow, and a possible enlargement. For a healthy individual, a typical ECG shows the whole cardiac cycle or heart beat which includes a P wave (Atrial depolarization), a QRS complex (Ventricular depolarization), and a T wave (Ventricular repolarization). The ECG s first spike or P wave is triggered by the Sinoatrial node (SA node), which is also known as the pacemaker and the electrical impulse from the atria to the ventricles is conducted by the atrioventricular node (AV node). During each heart beat the heart muscle depolarizes, this is detected on the skin where the ECG electrodes are placed by the machine and then translated into a linear representation (Boundless). The resting membrane potential of a heart cell is 60mv, when an influx of positive ions enter the cell (NA+ and CA++) depolarization takes place causing the heart to contract. This action takes place during the peak of the P wave (Atria systole). The QRS complex represent when the left and right ventricles contract and depolarize, also called ventricular systole. This action normally takes place at the highest amplitude in the complex, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The definition of biotechnology, according to the fourth addition biology book from BJU press, states that Biotechnology is the use of technology to enhance living organisms and processes. Their are many aspects of biotechnoogy including cloning, genetic engineering, stem cell technology, gene therapy and genetically modified plants and food. I will be splitting this paper off into sections by these specific aspects in order to learn more about genetics and biotechnology and its effect on the world around us. So let s dive in. Section 1. Cloning There are three common types of clones:natural clones, artificial clones and last but not least human clones. Natural cloning occurs when animals without man s intervention create a native, unaffected genetic copy of themselves as their young. This occurs by asexually reproduction, a process in which certain animals don t need two parents in order to create a young, but can make sperm themselves. Organisms that are multicellular can reproduce by processes such as: fragmentation, budding or produce spores from asexual reproduction from natural clones. Natural clones make an exact genetic copy of themselves except in the fetus stage. The organisms that can make a natural clone are some jellyfish, some insects and some worms. Unlike most animals that are more common to us such as fish, birds and mammals reproduce sexually making them inapplicable for natural cloning. • 33. Pros And Cons Of Batman And Superman Batman and Superman are DC s most valuable super heroes. They fight crime, help those in need, and protect their cities. Truly that is hero, someone we should look up to. Or is it? Today I was tasked with deciding whether or not, Batman and Superman do more harm than good as role models and cultural icons. I have come to the conclusion that they do more harm than good. It s important to note that I will be basing most of my information on the Superman and Batman movie. I have 3 main reasons why I believe this, 1 they are not relatable, 2 they solve their problems through violence, and 3 they are very dark. Let s begin with point one. The first reason why I agree with the statement, As role models and cultural icons, Batman and Superman do more harm than good. Is because of how unrelatable they are to people. Starting with Superman, he is an alien from a different world. He has powers that no one on earth can attain, unbreakable skin, laser eyes, the ability to fly by himself, and X ray vision (Superman s). No one can relate to any of those powers (Superman). Meanwhile, Batman is an orphan, who has billions of dollars. Some people can relate with the loss of a loved one but very, very few have access to even a million dollars. We look at them and see something that we can never be. Batman and Superman are role models and cultural icons that do more harm than good. The second reason why Batman and Superman as role models and cultural icons do more harm than good is because they solve the majority of their problems through violence. Dr. Sharon Lamb states, Today s superhero is too much like an action hero who participates in non stop violence...rarely speaks to the virtue of doing good for humanity, (Chivers). She is 100% correct in this. In the 2013 movie, Man of Steel, our hero flies about destroying the city he swore to protect. Buildings fall, lives are taken, and superman brings up no mention of any virtue by the end of the film. He uses violence. This continues on in basically every show that includes him. Listeners must discriminate between sounds, understand vocabulary and grammatical structures, interpret stress and intention, retain and interpret this within the immediate as well as the larger socio cultural context of the utterance (Wipf, 1984). Listeners use both bottom up processers and top down processes to comprehend (Guo and Wills ,1999). Listening comprehension has different roles in different language learning theories. Behaviorism emphasizes changes in behaviors due to the influence and control of the external environment, rather than the internal thought process of the subject (Merriam and Caffarella, 1999). Anderson (2002) mentioned that metacognition can be defined simply as thinking about thinking. He also mentioned that Cognitivism focuses more on more complex cognitive processes such as thinking, problem solving, language, concept formation and information processing. Listening plays a crucial role in students language development. Krashen (1985) argues that people acquire language by understanding the linguistic information they hear. Thus language acquisition is achieved mainly through receiving understandable input and listening ability is the critical component in achieving understandable language input. Given the importance of listening in language learning and teaching, this research tries to investigate the role of listening ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 43. How Color And The Affects It Has On The Human Brain Color is any hue, tint, or shade of light that can be separated as in a spectrum or rainbow as defined by the Oxford English Dictionary. There have been many studies concerning color and the affects it has on the human brain. According to Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe, a eighteenth century writer, each color evokes a different emotion or sensation, which can be seen and studied using a prism, the grand instrument in the experimental field of research into light. So why does color matter in marketing? In a recent study, researchers found that 92.6% of people put most importance on visual factors when purchasing products, (Morton). A key factor to visual composition is color choices, pairings, schemes, and the emotions and feelings each of those colors evoke. The human brains reaction to color is called color psychology. Marketers consider the meaning behind each color when designing merchandise packaging, and consumers choose certain products because they find the packaging to be appealing, and subconsciously playing into the plans of the companies. The history and study of color has presented a plethora of information regarding the important role color plays in everyday life. • 45. I Felt The Harsh Dirt Under My Feet I felt the harsh dirt under my feet. Bobbing my head, I swayed back and forth struggling to avoid hitting my head on the low branches that filled the dense forest. In the background of my thoughts, I heard my friends trying to talk to me, asking me, Hey, you gonna jump? Mmm..hmmm, I replied. Their question didn t matter to me, I wasn t interested in what they had to say, I was intensely focused on what I was about to do. Anxiously, I went up to the edge of the cliff, and observed what I would soon be hurdling into. Looking down, saw brown, scummy water below the dirt cliff that was keeping the distance between me and the water. Suddenly, I felt hands on my back, and my feet left the dirt. Without thinking, I swung my arms rapidly back and forth. Rapidly and pathetically I reached around for something to keep me from plunging into the turbid water. There was no use, I was already descending towards the water at a very rapid pace. My feet eventually reached the water, after what felt like forever. I had annihilated the water that used to be as smooth as glass, because of the absence of disturbance it once had. With the frigid water surrounding my body, chills went up my spine and into my shoulders. While submerged in the water, I came to the conclusion that my friends and brother probably left me, to frighten me. Why else would they pull a prank on me and leave me stranded in the water? While drifting to the bottom of the creek, I realized that as a result of my friends ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
