INTRODUCTION:
Card spinning system is a really
technical process. The yarns
produced with the carded spinning
system are more soft and bulky
than the same yarn produced with
other spinning systems. Impurities
and neps. For this reason they are
suitable for their great wear ability
and extreme comfort.

PROJECT GOAL:
The goal of this project is to create the fundamental knowledge
needed to develop more efficient machines and novel processes that
can potentially decrease the number of process steps by a factor of 2
to 3 in short staple yarn manufacturing.
ADVANTAGES OF CARD SPINNING SYSTEM
TECHNOLOGY YARNS:
 Very comfortable yarns
 Soft to the touch
 More bulky
RAW MATERIALS:
 Para-aramide and para-aramide
regenerated
 Meta-aramide and meta-aramide
regenerated
 Preox
 Viscose
 Polyamide
 Polyester

YARN FORMATION BY CARD-
SPINNING:
 Carding Machine: To individualize fibers, eliminate impurities, and
orient and blend fibers.
 Doffer: To take off fibers from cylinder.
 Web Splitter: To divide web into multiple slices (not shown).
 Channel: To transfer fibers from the carding machine and condense
into a shape ready to spin.
 Drafting Unit: To draft strand and align fibers. To be used only if
necessary.
 Spinning Nozzle: To insert twist to the fiber strand using air vortex
flow.
 Suction Tube: To collect exhaust air from the spinning nozzle.
 Yarn Winder: To wind the yarn onto a cone .
CONCLUSION:
By this presentation we know about card-
spinning system and we also learn working
procedure and develop our skill about this
process. I think this presentation will be very
helpful in my future career.
