Objective
The objective of the module is to
increase the chances of a
successful integration of young
students in a qualifying training
and lead them to a qualification
degree.
Target
Students between 15 and 18 who
want to work
Academic and social drop-outs
Majority : boys
Team
•The “accompagnateur” teachers who accompany the students during
their integration in the work environment ; they focus on the behavioural
aspects
•The teachers of the various subjects : French, social sciences, maths
Each group of 30 students is guided by one teacher and one
“accompagnateur”.

Practically
The current MFI program started in 2008
Takes place every year, the whole year
round
Financial support from Ministry of
Education and ESF
Results
60 students / year
•15% are not ready or interested in the vocational training 
they are oriented towards another (type of) school
•55% to 65% enter the vocational school and obtain a job
•20% to 30% stay in the programme for a full academic year
 the MFI is a preparation for their future academic project

E-COP – Project no. 167127-LLP-1-2009-1-IT-KA1-KA1ECETB Kick-off meeting, Milan, February 25 and 26, 2010 2 Objective The objective of the module is to increase the chances of a successful integration of young students in a qualifying training and lead them to a qualification degree. Target Students between 15 and 18 who want to work Academic and social drop-outs Majority : boys Team •The “accompagnateur” teachers who accompany the students during their integration in the work environment ; they focus on the behavioural aspects •The teachers of the various subjects : French, social sciences, maths Each group of 30 students is guided by one teacher and one “accompagnateur”. + the psychologist and social worker of the CPMS

Awareness of rules • Courses with focus on rules and appropriate behaviour in school, society, work environment  Develops social abilities 5 steps 2. Orientation for a job • Activities around different jobs and trades including observation and contact with the industry • Trial period in a business  Understand requirements of jobs and help making choice 1. The life project • Communication workshops • Coaching workshops • Intervention of CPMS  Promotes and concentrates on communication skills  Decides whether work is the best solution for the student 4. Upgrade of competences & knowledge • French, social science, maths • Individual or collective  Level basic knowledge required to enter vocational school 5. Get ready to enter vocational school • Observation in business • Find contract  Start vocational school

E-COP – Project no. 167127-LLP-1-2009-1-IT-KA1-KA1ECETB Kick-off meeting, Milan, February 25 and 26, 2010 4 Practically The current MFI program started in 2008 Takes place every year, the whole year round Financial support from Ministry of Education and ESF Results 60 students / year •15% are not ready or interested in the vocational training  they are oriented towards another (type of) school •55% to 65% enter the vocational school and obtain a job •20% to 30% stay in the programme for a full academic year  the MFI is a preparation for their future academic project
