don’t
look in
the bag

what's in
the bag?
create groups comprising of 3 or 4 people
then
divide your group into two separate
groups - A and B.
Rules
Nobody is to look in the bag or take anything out of it.
Group A has to communicate as much information to
Group B about the contents of the bag.
Group A cannot speak, draw or write anything.
Group A can put their hands in the bag.
Group B has to document as much information about the contents of the bag
using the pens and paper.
Group B cannot touch the bag or its contents.
The task is 5 minutes long.
Pass the information you have gathered to another group.
You now have documentation/evidence/data.
The whole group has to decide what the possible function
of the bags contents is/was.
They are to use only the information given to them on the
paper by the previous group .
Communicate this using the pens and paper.
All members of the group can speak to each other.
The task is 3 minutes long.
Now pass the information you have gathered to another group .
You now have documentation/evidence/data and speculation.
The whole group has to decide what part of the human body
the information is describing.
this could be at any scale
They are to use only the information given to them on the
paper by the previous group .
Communicate this using the pens and paper.
All members of the group can speak to each other.
The task is 2 minutes long.

consider
ideas around choice
the rules you created
how you feel about intuition?
what was your role in the activity?
what you might take away from the process?
how, if at all it might inform your own research.

What does science look like?
listening to a
coat - hanger
pairs
Find a partner
one of you is A
one of you is B
listening to a
coat - hanger
Now your task is to draw the sound you heard.
The actual sound not an image of what it
reminded you of.
Consider -
tone - shape - colour - line - movement - volume -
hue - depth - focus - background - rhythm - pitch -
frame
Some instructions –

But be precise
Some questions –
Describe the marks in the square
Colour
Landscape
Person
Personal response
5 minutes to create a text that uses all the words
The words can be in any order
The words can be used as many times as you
want
Any words from any known or unknown language
can be added.
reflective writing process
what happened?
why did it happen?
what do I think about this?
what should I do as a result of this?
how do I do this again?
