Stowupland’s
assembly
The project
The purpose of this assembly
- To explain the project
- To introduce myself
- To talk about my history
What’s the project about?
Year 7 students have the chance to participate in an exciting event in the Stowmarket
area this summer.
Jubilant! is a Youth Arts Festival sponsored by a range of local institutions including
Red Gables, The Mix, The John Peel Centre and the Regal Cinema.
Some of you will be working with an artist and an environmentalist to produce a
piece of artwork to display during the festival.
This is the starting point of our journey to develop the land next to the tennis courts
into a creative space.
The emphasis is on environmental enrichment and diversity - a unique opportunity
for you to create a legacy for future generations to enjoy at Stowupland !
The project - What we might do.
1 - Mapping the space – working out what's there.
2 - Imagining what could be there –
