1) An artist named Les Bicknell gave an assembly to introduce a project for Year 7 students to participate in an arts festival called Jubilant! where some students will work with an artist and environmentalist to create artwork to display. 2) The project aims to develop the land next to the tennis courts into a creative space focusing on environmental enrichment for future generations. 3) Students interested in the project need to submit a one page response by May 27th explaining why they want to participate and how they would contribute.

4. What’s the project about?
Year 7 students have the chance to participate in an exciting event in the Stowmarket
area this summer.
Jubilant! is a Youth Arts Festival sponsored by a range of local institutions including
Red Gables, The Mix, The John Peel Centre and the Regal Cinema.
Some of you will be working with an artist and an environmentalist to produce a
piece of artwork to display during the festival.
This is the starting point of our journey to develop the land next to the tennis courts
into a creative space.
The emphasis is on environmental enrichment and diversity - a unique opportunity
for you to create a legacy for future generations to enjoy at Stowupland !
