The present progressive Tense
present progressive and its usage:

1) To express an activity that is in progress at the moment of speaking.
Affirmative statement
To make an Affirmative present progressive statement, simply follow this
pattern:
Subject+verb to be(am, are, is)+main verb in base form+ing
• I am playing volleyball.
• He/she/it is playing volleyball.
• We/you/they are playing volleyball.
Negative statement
To make a negative present progressive statement, simply follow the following pattern:

Subject+verb to be(am , aren, is)+not+main verb in base form+ing

• I am not playing volleyball.
•He/she/it is not playing volleyball.
•We/you/they are not playing volleyball.
Question
To make a question in the present progressive, simply follow the following pattern:

Am, Are, Is/+subject+main verb in base form+ing

•Am I playing volleyball?
•Is he/she/it playing volleyball?
•Are we/you/they playing volleyball?
