This document discusses the use of the modal auxiliary verb "will" to talk about the future in two main ways. Firstly, "will" is used when there is no prior plan to express a decision made at the time of speaking, such as "I will get a pen." Secondly, "will" can be used to make predictions about the future without a firm plan, like saying "It will rain tomorrow."
