QUESTION FORM
• To create questions in Present Continuous we write or express
the verb TO-BE before the person. Let’s check this verb.
VERB TO-BE
Am I (estoy yo)
Are you (estas tú)
Is she (esta ella)
Is he (esta el)
Is it (esta eso(a)
Are they (están ellos(as)
Are we (estamos nosotros(as)
STRUCTURE
• To build questions with Present Continuous, we follow the below
structure:
TO-BE + pronoun + action verb(ING) + complement + ?
Examples: Am I watchING a movie ?
Is She surfING on Instagram ?
Are they postING on Twitter ?
WH-QUESTIONS
• We use a Wh-question Word to ask for an specific information that
is happenig at the time. Let’s check this:
STRUCTURE
Wh-question + verb TO-BE + pronoun + action (ING) + complement + ?
Examples: what are you doing today ?
where is she cooking for dinner ?
who are they listening to ?
REMEMBER
• when a verb finishes in E like in TAKE, we omit the E, and
add ING.
• Examples: when are you taking the exam?
Is she closing her shop?
