The Present Continuous is: am / is / are  + do ing /eat ing /runn ing /writ ing  etc. am  (not)  - ing is  (not)  - ing are  (not)  - ing * You  is either singular or plural. I ’m  work ing . I ’m   not  listen ing  to music. Chris  is  writ ing  a letter. She  isn’t  eat ing . / She ’s   not  eat ing . The phone  is  ring ing . We ’re  hav ing  dinner.
