JOB PROFILE – EDM & CIO
As a Sales Analyst I provide an integral link between the sales organization, NetApp partners, marketing,
Customer Master, Oracle Identity Management (OIM) and other corporate support functions such as finance.
Aggregating and organizing enterprise data from multiple data sources to aid in analysis.
Data augmentation and enrichment for company names, alternate names, DUNS # etc.
Analyze and review existing data to ensure the data is up-to-date.
Communicating key process information, deadlines, task definition, etc., to groups within the sales, product
operations and marketing groups.
Working closely with the key business users to identify data gaps and needs.
Extract company hierarchy information using D&B and Hoovers for exact matches.
Ensuring all information and processes are in place for the successful achievement of business and Sales
plans.
As a part of the function, provide daily operational support and information to the field sales and channel
organization to support customer/partner related requests,escalations and issues and internal support to the
organization by means of reporting and analysis.
Coordinated multiple priorities and projects.
PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN:
1. End Customer Enrichment Project:
Scrubbed enormous number of poor quality prospect data sourcing from Salesforce.com (SFDC) to ensure no
hindrances is seen due to bad data during the time of order booking.
Enriched the end customer data with the global ultimate parent information which helps the Analytic and Sales
Operational teams in focusing on high revenue customers.

2. Vendor Master Project:
Mastering and Enriching NetApp’s vendor data for improved operational efficiency by removing duplicate entries
and increasing trust on the data.
Adhering to daily, weekly & monthly targets which helped ensured timely commissioning of integration of
Vendor data into Company Master Data.
3. Customer Enrichment Projects and D&B Customer Leads Review:
Reviewed Customer from D&B lead files and aligned every customer under its global ultimate parent with
NetApp Global Parent to get missing nodes in the family tree and add them as prospects into Company Master
Database.
4. Engenio Acquisition Project:
Post NetApp acquiring Engenio I provided in operational support in migrating Engenio Customer data base into
NetApp Company Master Data base.
Cleanse & Standardize Engenio customers as per NetApp data governance rules and eventually commission
the same into NetApp’s Company Master Data base.
5. GTC (Global Trade Compliance) Project:
GTC team reviews all transaction where EPCI and DR flags are triggered
Mitigating export control risk to NetApp by improving Sales velocity for parties or transactions with Enhance
Proliferation Control Initiative (EPCI) & Diversion Risk (DR) concerns
Confirming that parties involved or affiliated with the transaction are not subject to restriction or prohibitions by
screening the Restricted Parties Lists (RPL’s)
Performing due diligence if a customer/ Ship To party is involved in Weapons of Mass Destruction or Has
affiliations or business dealings in embargoed or sanctioned countries or Plans to re-export products after
completion of sale to ensure that the re-export is not contrary to US export laws.
Obtaining written assurance from customer/ Ship To parties if their profile or transaction triggers export
compliance concerns
Determining licenses or documents required from the customer in order for NetApp to be compliant with export
regulations
Performing CSP for every customer
Monitoring Foreign Corrupts Practices Act aka FCPA – Co./Individuals who have broken FCPA law by offering
bribes or kick backs for business
6. Data Cleanup Project:
Truncating the data to a logically acceptable level in meeting the character limit of every data field in Company
Master which indirectly ensures consistently across all the enterprise spoke systems and also their individual
character limits are met.
7. Sales Return Authorization & Customer Screening Profile Project:
Lead and guide a team of 4 member for this project
Streamline SRA request process and explore opportunities to ensure tracking of requests systematically and
ensure the SRA process for both Virtual and Paperless receipts are managed with a same day SLA.
Improve process for metrics gathering and reporting and Document SRA process on the CMAT Ops Live site.
Work with the CSP team in ensuring process changes from CI program are implemented successfully, and
share best practices with the rest of the CSP team
Be able to complete regression tests during release cycles to ensure smooth end to end workflow
Reporting metrics for Daily missing, RPL, Orders on Hold and Future Expiring. Support OM in your respective
shift & extended coverage during Month ends, Quarter ends. Learn and act as back-up for supporting Fallout
