At the begging of this course I had to create a school magazine, front cover and content page. By
doing the school magazine first would have given my the experience of how to use Photoshop
and how I would collect information to design my Music magazine. Before this I had to research
didn't type of school magazines so I have an idea of how school magazines are represented and
what is needed in a school magazine. After having the research I done I had to design a draft of
my school magazine including all the information I had researched to make it look like a
professional school magazine. By designing the school magazine before creating it made it easier
for because I put all my ideas on to a paper before I forgot and also it made me easier for me to
change anything I didn’t like. Furth more, all this steps that I went through I think would help me
to make a better music magazine as I would learn from the mistakes I done when I done my
music magazine so therefore, I can improve them mistakes when it comes to creating my music
magazine to create a successful music magazine.

8. What have I learned?
Through out this process of creating the school magazine I have learnt a lot. Firstly, the most
important think I learnt is my way of how to use the Photoshop and all the different software's
this is useful as I would have to use all my skill that I’ve learnt to create my music magazine. By
practicing using the software it would make me more confident when it comes to creating my
music magazine and also, the music magazine would be more successful than the school
magazine. Furthermore, the other thing I’ve learnt during this process is how I should collect
my information before starting to creating my magazine for example, I would have to research
all the information I would need to add in a magazine I would creating, after finding out all the
information and the data I should be including when it comes to creating my own magazine I
would have to draw out a rough draft how lay out all my ideas before forgetting and also
because when it comes to creating the actual magazine it would be easier for me to look at my
draft that I done so I can create the magazine with no problem. When creating my school
magazine I did experience mistakes so therefore, this would make me improve the mistakes I
done to create a successful music magazine.
