3. As you can see, my cover page has improved
dramatically from the preliminary school magazine to
my final music magazine.
The layout has improved a lot and the cover looks
much more like a conventional music magazine, in
addition the cover image is edited much better. The
image looks more professional and conventional.
I enjoyed creating the cover page for my magazine as
I had to be very careful with layout and make sure it
wasn’t too cluttered or busy but still had enough no
it.
I also really liked editing the cover image to make it
look professional and conventional to the genre of
music.

5. My contents page has also changed
massively, the layout again looks much more
professional and conventional compared to other
music magazines.
The contents page also looks much busier with
more stores, and better images. This shows that
the magazine is packed with content which the
readers would relate to.
I really liked creating the contents page as I had
to think up stories that the readers of the
magazine would actually want to read and would
be interested in. Also it involved looking at layout
very carefully and editing images to make them
fit into the magazine.

7. We didn’t create a double page spread for our school
magazine, therefore it was the first time creating a
double page spread. I found this part of the
magazine the easiest as it was mainly made up of
text.
I learnt lots about layout by using a “three column”
layout for my text and filling the gaps with images
that relate to the story and graphics that the readers
could relate to and would recognise!
I loved creating the double page spread as I had to
create the story and edit lots of images to fit into the
story.
I also loved making the graphics to fit into the double
page spread and I am really please with how they
turned out, especially the eyes!
