Hi, Friends, I have shared another PPT for you all. Please follow me for more such PPT. And do tell me what all topics you would like to refer, so I can post such topics for you all
Prefixes and Suffixes
There are 3 processes of word formation in English: affixation- addition of prefixes and sufixes; conversion- use of the word in another class without any changes; and compounding- joining 2 words to form another.
Prefixes and suffixes are sets of letters that are added to the beginning or end of another word. They are not words in their own right and cannot stand on their own in a sentence: if they are printed on their own they have a hyphen before or after them.
Prefixes are added to the beginning of an existing word in order to create a new word with a different meaning.
The following is an list of medical prefixes along with their meanings, origin, and an English example.
Example of Prefixes

Inter- Latin Between Interface

Detailed Lesson Plan (ENGLISH, MATH, SCIENCE, FILIPINO)Junnie Salud
Thanks everybody! The lesson plans presented were actually outdated and can still be improved. I was also a college student when I did these. There were minor errors but the important thing is, the structure and flow of activities (for an hour-long class) are included here. I appreciate all of your comments! Please like my fan page on facebook search for JUNNIE SALUD.
*The detailed LP for English is from Ms. Juliana Patricia Tenzasas. I just revised it a little.

English Suffixes to Improve Your VocabularyKelly Tracy
Every English learner wants to improve their vocabulary. You can grow your vocabulary power quickly and efficiently by learning word parts!
English borrow many words and word parts from other languages, especially Latin and Greek. One kind of word part is suffixes. A suffix is added to the end of a word to change its meaning, and often its part of speech as well. The same suffixes are used in many words, so if you know some common ones, it will be easier to figure out the meanings of new words.
English Prefixes to Improve Your VocabularyKelly Tracy
English has many common word parts: prefixes, roots, and suffixes. If you learn some of these word parts, it will be easier for you to figure out the meanings of new words.
We can add a prefix to the beginning of a word to change its meaning.
