This document discusses modeling and predicting the performance of wireless communication systems using multiple antennas.
It begins by introducing MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) wireless systems and their advantages over single antenna systems. These include increased range, reduced interference, and improved capacity.
The document then analyzes MIMO system performance over flat fading channels with different fading statistics and levels of channel state information. It also discusses measurement results validating the Rayleigh fading assumption and the impact of mutual antenna coupling.

However, this may be restricted due to some technical problems such as limited availability of radio frequency spectrum, bandwidth, channel capacity, geographical areas and transmission problems caused by various factors like fading and multipath distortion. All these lead to overall system performance degradation. This has led to various studies on how improvement on the performance of wireless communication can be realized using different techniques. This paper is a review of some scholarly works on this subject. To achieve this some recent scholarly articles were accessed online and their findings were highlighted. It was observed that all the articles reviewed had results drawn only from theoretical analysis. Based on this, one of the recommendations is that theoretical analysis should be supported with data obtained from carrying out RF measurements in the field where possible.
A Summative Comparison of Blind Channel Estimation Techniques for Orthogonal ...IJECEIAES
The OFDM technique i.e. Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing has become prominent in wireless communication since its instruction in 1950’s due to its feature of combating the multipath fading and other losses. In an OFDM system, a large number of orthogonal, overlapping, narrow band subchannels or subcarriers, transmitted in parallel, divide the available transmission bandwidth. The separation of the subcarriers is theoretically optimal such that there is a very compact spectral utilization. This paper reviewed the possible approaches for blind channel estimation in the light of the improved performance in terms of speed of convergence and complexity. There were various researches which adopted the ways for channel estimation for Blind, Semi Blind and trained channel estimators and detectors. Various ways of channel estimation such as Subspace, iteration based, LMSE or MSE based (using statistical methods), SDR, Maximum likelihood approach, cyclostationarity, Redundancy and Cyclic prefix based. The paper reviewed all the above approaches in order to summarize the outcomes of approaches aimed at optimum performance for channel estimation in OFDM systems.

In this paper, transmit beamforming and antenna selection techniques are presented for the Cooperative
Distributed Antenna System. Beamforming technique with minimum total weighted transmit power
satisfying threshold SINR and Per-Antenna Power constraints is formulated as a convex optimization
problem for the efficient performance of Distributed Antenna System (DAS). Antenna Selection technique is
implemented in this paper to select the optimum Remote Antenna Units from all the available ones. This
achieves the best compromise between capacity and system complexity. Dual polarized and Triple
Polarized systems are considered. Simulation results prove that by integrating Beamforming with DAS
enhances its performance. Also by using convex optimization in Antenna Selection enhances the
performance of multi polarized systems.

A Mathematical Approach for Hidden Node Problem in Cognitive Radio NetworksTELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
Cognitive radio (CR) technology has emerged as a realistic solution to the spectrum scarcity
problem in present day wireless networks. A major challenge in CR radio networks is the hidden node
problem, which is the inability of the CR nodes to detect the primary user. This paper proposes energy
detector-based distributed sequential cooperative spectrum sensing over Nakagami-m fading, as a tool to
solve the hidden node problem. The derivation of energy detection performance over Nakagami-m fading
channel is presented. Since the observation represents a random variable, likelihood ratio test (LRT) is
known to be optimal in this type of detection problem. The LRT is implemented using the Neyman-Pearson
Criterion (maximizing the probability of detection but at a constraint of false alarm probability). The
performance of the proposed method has been evaluated both by numerical analysis and simulations. The
effect of cooperation among a group of CR nodes and system parameters such as SNR, detection
threshold and number of samples per CR nodes is investigated. Results show improved detection
performance by implementing the proposed model.

The recent researches have widely considered OFDM technology as the prominent modulation mechanism to fulfill the futuristic needs of wireless communication. The OFDM can bring effective usage of resources, bandwidth, and system performance enhancement in collaboration with the smart antenna and resource allocation mechanism (adaptive). However, the usage of adaptive beamforming with the OFDM leads to complication in the design of medium access layer and which causes a problem in adaptive resource allocation mechanism (ARAM). Hence, the proposed manuscript intends to design an OFDM system by considering different switched beam smart antenna (SBSA) along with the cross-layer adaptive resource allocation (CLARA) and hybrid adaptive array (HAA). In this, various smart antenna mechanism are considered to analyze the quality of service (QoS) and complexity reduction in the OFDM system. In this paper, various SA schemes are used as per the quality of service (QoS) requirement of the different users. The performance analysis is conducted by considering data traffic reduction, bit-rate reduction, and average delay.
Novel Position Estimation using Differential Timing Information for Asynchron...IJCNCJournal
Positioning techniques have been a common objective since the early development of wireless networks. However, current positioning methods in cellular networks, for instance, are still primarily focused on the use of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), which has several limitations, like high power drainage and failure in indoor scenarios. This study introduces a novel approach employing standard LTE signaling in order to provide high accuracy positioning estimation. The proposed technique is designed in analogy to the human sound localization system, eliminating the need of having information from three spatially diverse Base Stations (BSs). This is inspired by the perfect human 3D sound localization with two ears. A field study is carried out in a dense urban city to verify the accuracy of the proposed technique, with more than 20 thousand measurement samples collected. The achieved positioning accuracy is meeting the latest Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requirements in the planner dimension.
5G Coupler Design for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Application IJECEIAES
Aiming to achieve 3-dB coupling, operating in fifth generation (5G) technologies, this paper introduces a new design of tight coupling coupler that will be operated in 5G technologies. Two stubs and two slots have been implemented into the 3-dB coupler design in order to achieve impedance matching between the ports and to give better coupling performances, respectively. Moreover, a study on the stubs’ and slots’ effects towards the S31 of the 3-dB coupler has also been presented in this paper. The proposed coupler is designed on Rogers RO4003C substrate. The simulation results and the analytical study on the stubs and slots implementation show that both stubs and slots affect the performance of the coupling coefficient.

Bio-inspired route estimation in cognitive radio networks IJECEIAES
Cognitive radio is a technique that was originally created for the proper use of the radio electric spectrum due its underuse. A few methods were used to predict the network traffic to determine the occupancy of the spectrum and then use the ‘holes’ between the transmissions of primary users. The goal is to guarantee a complete transmission for the second user while not interrupting the trans-mission of primary users. This study seeks the multifractal generation of traffic for a specific radio electric spectrum as well as a bio-inspired route estimation for secondary users. It uses the MFHW algorithm to generate multifractal traces and two bio-inspired algo-rithms: Ant Colony Optimization and Max Feeding to calculate the secondary user’s path. Multifractal characteristics offer a predic-tion, which is 10% lower in comparison with the original traffic values and a complete transmission for secondary users. In fact, a hybrid strategy combining both bio-inspired algorithms promise a reduction in handoff. The purpose of this research consists on deriving future investigation in the generation of multifractal traffic and a mobility spectrum using bio-inspired algorithms.

Cognitive radio is emerging technologies in OFDM based wireless systems which are very important for spectrum sensing. By using cognitive radio (CR) high data can be transferred with low bit error rate. The key idea of OFDM is to split the total transmission bandwidth into the subcarriers which further reduce the intersymbol interference (ISI) and peak to average power ratio(PAPR) in the signal. There are many optimization based spectrum sensing techniques are existing for efficient sensing purpose but each has its own advantages and disadvantages. This leads to start the comprehensive study for reducing PAPR and ISI(Intersymbol interference) in terms of FPGA based partial configuration. In the first part of review OFDM characteristics of the signal has compared with several optimizations based ISI reduction techniques. The second part is to compare the various spectrum sensing techniques in cognitive radio engine and its application in FPGA.

With the radio channels physical limits, achieving higher data rate in the multi-channel systems is been a biggest concern. Hence, various spatial domain techniques have been introduced by incorporating array of antenna elements (i.e., smart antenna) in recent past for the channel limit expansion in mobile communication antennas. These smart antennas help to yield the improved array gain or bearm forming gain and hence by power efficiency enhanmaent in the channel and antenna range expansion. The use of smart antenna leads to spatial diversity and minimizes the fading effect and improves link reliability. However, in the process of antenna design, the proper channel modelling is is biggest concern which affect the wireless system performance. The recent works of MIMO design systems have discussed the issues in number of antenna selection which suggests that optimization of MIMO channel capacity is required. Hence, a Particle Swarm Optimization based channel capacity optimzation for MIMO system incorporated with smart antenna is introduced in this paper. From the outcomes it is been found that the proposed PSO based MIMO system achieves better convergenece speed which results in better channel capacity.
Backtracking Search Optimization for Collaborative Beamforming in Wireless Se...TELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
Due to energy limitation and constraint in communication capabilities, the undesirable high
battery power consumption has become one of the major issues in wireless sensor network (WSN).
Therefore, a collaborative beamforming (CB) method was introduced with the aim to improve the radiation
beampattern in order to compensate the power consumption. A CB is a technique which can increase the
sensor node gain and performance by aiming at the desired objectives through intelligent capabilities. The
sensor nodes were located randomly in WSN environment. The nodes were designed to cooperate among
each other and act as a collaborative antenna array. The configuration of the collaborative nodes was
modeled in circular array formation. The position of array nodes was determined by obtaining the optimum
parameters pertaining to the antenna array which implemented by using Backtracking Search Optimization
Algorithm (BSA). The parameter considered in the project was the side-lobe level minimization. It was
observed that, the suppression of side-lobe level for BSA was better compared to the radiation
beampattern obtained for conventional uniform circular array.
EFFICIENCY ENHANCEMENT BASED ON ALLOCATING BIZARRE PEAKSijwmn
A new work has been proposed in this paper in order to overcome one of the main drawbacks that found in
the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) systems, namely Peak to Average Power Ratio
(PAPR). Furthermore, this work will be compared with a previously published work that uses the neural
network (NN) as a solution to remedy this deficiency.
The proposed work could be considered as a special averaging technique (SAT), which consists of wavelet
transformation in its first stage, a globally statistical adaptive detecting algorithm as a second stage; and
in the third stage it replaces the affected peaks by making use of moving average filter process. In the NN
work, the learning process makes use of a previously published work that is based on three linear coding
techniques.
In order to check the proposed work validity, a MATLAB simulation has been run and has two main
variables to compare with; namely BER and CCDF curves. This is true under the same bandwidth
occupancy and channel characteristics. Two types of tested data have been used; randomly generated data
and a practical data that have been extracted from a funded project entitled by ECEM. From the achieved
simulation results, the work that is based on SAT shows promising results in reducing the PAPR effect
reached up to 80% over the work in the literature and our previously published work. This means that this
work gives an extra reduction up to 15% of our previously published work. However, this achievement will
be under the cost of complexity. This penalty could be optimized by imposing the NN to the SAT work in
order to enhance the wireless systems performance.

EFFICIENCY ENHANCEMENT BASED ON ALLOCATING BIZARRE PEAKSijwmn
A new work has been proposed in this paper in order to overcome one of the main drawbacks that found in
the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) systems, namely Peak to Average Power Ratio
(PAPR). Furthermore, this work will be compared with a previously published work that uses the neural
network (NN) as a solution to remedy this deficiency.
The proposed work could be considered as a special averaging technique (SAT), which consists of wavelet
transformation in its first stage, a globally statistical adaptive detecting algorithm as a second stage; and
in the third stage it replaces the affected peaks by making use of moving average filter process. In the NN
work, the learning process makes use of a previously published work that is based on three linear coding
techniques.
In order to check the proposed work validity, a MATLAB simulation has been run and has two main
variables to compare with; namely BER and CCDF curves. This is true under the same bandwidth
occupancy and channel characteristics. Two types of tested data have been used; randomly generated data
and a practical data that have been extracted from a funded project entitled by ECEM. From the achieved
simulation results, the work that is based on SAT shows promising results in reducing the PAPR effect
reached up to 80% over the work in the literature and our previously published work. This means that this
work gives an extra reduction up to 15% of our previously published work. However, this achievement will
be under the cost of complexity. This penalty could be optimized by imposing the NN to the SAT work in
order to enhance the wireless systems performance.

Abstract: Context-aware recommender systems (CARS) try to adapt their recommendations to users’ specific contextual situations. In many recommender systems, particularly those based on collaborative filtering (CF), the additional contextual constraints may lead to increased sparsity in the user preference data, thus fewer matches between the current user context and previous situations. Our earlier work proposed two approaches to deal with this problem – differential context relaxation (DCR) and differential context weighting (DCW) and we have successfully examined them using user-based collaborative filtering (UBCF). In this paper, we put DCR and DCW into one framework called differential context modeling (DCM). As a general framework, DCM is able to be applied to other recommendation algorithms other than UBCF. We expand the application of DCM to the other two CF approaches: item-based CF and slope one recommender. Predictive performances are evaluated based on two real-world data sets and experimental results demonstrate that applying DCM to those two algorithms is able to improve predictive accuracy compared with our baselines: context-free CF algorithms and contextual pre-filtering algorithms.

Space–time block coding is used for data communication in fading channels by multiple
transmit antennas. Message data is encoded by applying a space–time block code and after the encoding
the data is break into ‘n’ streams of simultaneously transmitted strings through n transmit antennas. The
received signal at the receiver end is the superposition of the n transmitted signals distorted due to noise
.For data recovery maximum likelihood decoding scheme is applied through decoupling of the signals
transmitted from different antennas instead of joint detection. The maximum likelihood decoding scheme
applies the orthogonal structure of the space–time block code (OSTBC) and gives a maximum-likelihood
decoding algorithm based on linear processing at the receiver. In this paper orthogonal space–time
block codes based model is developed using Matlab/Simulink to get the maximum diversity order for a
given number of transmit and receive antennas subject with a simple decoding algorithm.
The simulink block of orthogonal space coding block with space–time block codes is applied with and
without gray coding. The OSTBC codes gives the maximum possible transmission rate for any number of
transmit antennas using any arbitrary real constellation such of M-PSK array. For different complex
constellation of M- PSK space–time block codes are applied that achieve 1/2 and 3/4 of the maximum
possible transmission rate for MIMO transmit antennas using different complex constellations.

In this article, we show that Pilot contamination problem can be seen as a source separation problem using time, frequency, and space domains. Our method capitalizes on a nonunitary joint diagonalization of spatial quadratic time-frequency (STFD) signal representation to identify the desired and interfering users. We first compute the noise subspace from the STFD matrices selected appropriately. Secondly, we use the noise subspace obtained to estimate the Elevation (El) and the Azimuth (Az) angles for which the MUSIC cost function is maximized. Numerical simulations are provided to illustrate the effectiveness and the behavior of the proposed approach.

There is an increasing demand for high data transmission rates with the evolution of the very large scale integration (VLSI) technology. The multiple input multiple output-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) systems are used to fulfill these requirements because of their unique properties such as high spectral efficiency, high data rate and resistance towards multipath propagation. MIMO-OFDM systems are finding their applications in the modern wireless communication systems like IEEE 802.11n, 4G and LTE. They also offer reliable communication with the increased coverage area. The bottleneck to the MIMO-OFDM systems is the estimation of the channel state information (CSI). This can be estimated with the help of any one of the Training Based, Semiblind and Blind Channel estimation algorithms. This paper presents various channel estimation algorithms, optimization techniques and their effective utilization in MIMO-OFDM for modern wireless LTE systems.

White layer thickness (WLT) formed and surface roughness in wire electric discharge turning (WEDT) of tungsten carbide composite has been made to model through response surface methodology (RSM). A Taguchi’s standard Design of experiments involving five input variables with three levels has been employed to establish a mathematical model between input parameters and responses. Percentage of cobalt content, spindle speed, Pulse on-time, wire feed and pulse off-time were changed during the experimental tests based on the Taguchi’s orthogonal array L27 (3^13). Analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed that the mathematical models obtained can adequately describe performance within the parameters of the factors considered. There was a good agreement between the experimental and predicted values in this study.

Data were collected through a structured questionnaire containing a five point Likert Scale. The study examined the data of 30 transgender entrepreneurs in Salem Municipal Corporation of Tamil Nadu State, India. Simple Random sampling technique was used. Garrett Ranking Technique (Percentile Position, Mean Scores) was used as the analysis for the present study to identify the top 13 stimulus factors for establishment of trans entrepreneurial venture. Economic advancement of a nation is governed upon the upshot of a resolute entrepreneurial doings. The conception of entrepreneurship has stretched and materialized to the socially deflated uncharted sections of transgender community. Presently transgenders have smashed their stereotypes and are making recent headlines of achievements in various fields of our Indian society. The trans-community is gradually being observed in a new light and has been trying to achieve prospective growth in entrepreneurship. The findings of the research revealed that the optimistic changes are taking place to change affirmative societal outlook of the transgender for entrepreneurial ventureship. VOICE BASED ATM FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED USING ARDUINOIAEME Publication
The prototype of a voice-based ATM for visually impaired using Arduino is to help people who are blind. This uses RFID cards which contain users fingerprint encrypted on it and interacts with the users through voice commands. ATM operates when sensor detects the presence of one person in the cabin. After scanning the RFID card, it will ask to select the mode like –normal or blind. User can select the respective mode through voice input, if blind mode is selected the balance check or cash withdraw can be done through voice input. Normal mode procedure is same as the existing ATM.

The human person is crucial in defining organizational leadership and fortunes in terms of challenges and opportunities and walking across both multinational and bilateral relationships. The growing complexity of the business world requires a great deal of self-confidence, integrity, communication, conflict and diversity management to keep the global enterprise within the paths of productivity and sustainability. Using the exploratory research design and 255 participants the result of this original study indicates strong positive correlation between emotional intelligence and effective human resource management. The paper offers suggestions on further studies between emotional intelligence and human capital development and recommends for conflict management as an integral part of effective human resource management.

The main objective of this study is to analyze the impact of aspects of Organizational Culture on the Effectiveness of the Performance Management System (PMS) in the Health Care Organization at Thanjavur. Organizational Culture and PMS play a crucial role in present-day organizations in achieving their objectives. PMS needs employees’ cooperation to achieve its intended objectives. Employees' cooperation depends upon the organization’s culture. The present study uses exploratory research to examine the relationship between the Organization's culture and the Effectiveness of the Performance Management System. The study uses a Structured Questionnaire to collect the primary data. For this study, Thirty-six non-clinical employees were selected from twelve randomly selected Health Care organizations at Thanjavur. Thirty-two fully completed questionnaires were received.

The goal of this study was to see how talent management affected employee retention in the selected IT organizations in Chennai. The fundamental issue was the difficulty to attract, hire, and retain talented personnel who perform well and the gap between supply and demand of talent acquisition and retaining them within the firms. The study's main goals were to determine the impact of talent management on employee retention in IT companies in Chennai, investigate talent management strategies that IT companies could use to improve talent acquisition, performance management, career planning and formulate retention strategies that the IT firms could use. The respondents were given a structured close-ended questionnaire with the 5 Point Likert Scale as part of the study's quantitative research design. The target population consisted of 289 IT professionals. The questionnaires were distributed and collected by the researcher directly. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to collect and analyse the questionnaire responses. Hypotheses that were formulated for the various areas of the study were tested using a variety of statistical tests. The key findings of the study suggested that talent management had an impact on employee retention. The studies also found that there is a clear link between the implementation of talent management and retention measures. Management should provide enough training and development for employees, clarify job responsibilities, provide adequate remuneration packages, and recognise employees for exceptional performance.

It is costly to replace unskilled employees with IT professionals possessing technical skills and competencies that aid in interconnecting the business processes. Only 303 respondents were collected out of 350 participants to whom questionnaires were distributed. From the employees of IT organizations located in Bangalore (India), the data were congregated. A simple random sampling methodology was employed to congregate data as of the respondents. Generating the hypothesis along with testing is eventuated. The effect of EI and TM along with regression analysis between TM and EI was analyzed. The asset quality of banks is one of the most important indicators of their financial health. The Indian banking sector has been facing severe problems of increasing Non- Performing Assets (NPAs). The NPAs growth directly and indirectly affects the quality of assets and profitability of banks. It also shows the efficiency of banks credit risk management and the recovery effectiveness. NPA do not generate any income, whereas, the bank is required to make provisions for such as assets that why is a double edge weapon. This paper outlines the concept of quality of bank loans of different types like Housing, Agriculture and MSME loans in state Haryana of selected public and private sector banks. This study is highlighting problems associated with the role of commercial bank in financing Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME). The overall objective of the research was to assess the effect of the financing provisions existing for the setting up and operations of MSMEs in the country and to generate recommendations for more robust financing mechanisms for successful operation of the MSMEs, in turn understanding the impact of MSME loans on financial institutions due to NPA. There are many research conducted on the topic of Non- Performing Assets (NPA) Management, concerning particular bank, comparative study of public and private banks etc. In this paper the researcher is considering the aggregate data of selected public sector and private sector banks and attempts to compare the NPA of Housing, Agriculture and MSME loans in state Haryana of public and private sector banks. The tools used in the study are average and Anova test and variance. The findings reveal that NPA is common problem for both public and private sector banks and is associated with all types of loans either that is housing loans, agriculture loans and loans to SMES. NPAs of both public and private sector banks show the increasing trend. In 2010-11 GNPA of public and private sector were at same level it was 2% but after 2010-11 it increased in many fold and at present there is GNPA in some more than 15%. It shows the dark area of Indian banking sector.

This Researcher looked into how hard Nylon-6/BaSO4 composites are and how well they wear. Experiments were done based on Taguchi design L9. Nylon-6/BaSO4 composites can be tested for their hardness number using a Rockwell hardness testing apparatus. On Nylon/BaSO4, the wear behavior was measured by a wear monitor, pinon-disc friction by varying reinforcement, sliding speed, and sliding distance, and the microstructure of the crack surfaces was observed by SEM. This study provides significant contributions to ultimate strength by increasing BaSO4 content up to 16% in the composites, and sliding speed contributes 72.45% to the wear rate

The majority of the population in India lives in villages. The village is the back bone of the country. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Developing the rural economy is one of the key indicators towards a country’s success. Whether it be the need to look after the welfare of the farmers or invest in rural infrastructure, Governments have to ensure that rural development isn’t compromised. The economic development of our country largely depends on the progress of rural areas and the standard of living of rural masses. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Rural entrepreneurship is based on stimulating local entrepreneurial talent and the subsequent growth of indigenous enterprises. It recognizes opportunity in the rural areas and accelerates a unique blend of resources either inside or outside of agriculture. Rural entrepreneurship brings an economic value to the rural sector by creating new methods of production, new markets, new products and generate employment opportunities thereby ensuring continuous rural development. Social Entrepreneurship has the direct and primary objective of serving the society along with the earning profits. So, social entrepreneurship is different from the economic entrepreneurship as its basic objective is not to earn profits but for providing innovative solutions to meet the society needs which are not taken care by majority of the entrepreneurs as they are in the business for profit making as a sole objective. So, the Social Entrepreneurs have the huge growth potential particularly in the developing countries like India where we have huge societal disparities in terms of the financial positions of the population. Still 22 percent of the Indian population is below the poverty line and also there is disparity among the rural & urban population in terms of families living under BPL. 25.7 percent of the rural population & 13.7 percent of the urban population is under BPL which clearly shows the disparity of the poor people in the rural and urban areas. The need to develop social entrepreneurship in agriculture is dictated by a large number of social problems. Such problems include low living standards, unemployment, and social tension. The reasons that led to the emergence of the practice of social entrepreneurship are the above factors. The research problem lays upon disclosing the importance of role of social entrepreneurship in rural development of India. The paper the tendencies of social entrepreneurship in India, to present successful examples of such business for providing recommendations how to improve situation in rural areas in terms of social entrepreneurship development. Indian government has made some steps towards development of social enterprises, social entrepreneurship, and social in- novation, but a lot remains to be improved.
OPTIMAL RECONFIGURATION OF POWER DISTRIBUTION RADIAL NETWORK USING HYBRID MET...IAEME Publication
Distribution system is a critical link between the electric power distributor and the consumers. Most of the distribution networks commonly used by the electric utility is the radial distribution network. However in this type of network, it has technical issues such as enormous power losses which affect the quality of the supply. Nowadays, the introduction of Distributed Generation (DG) units in the system help improve and support the voltage profile of the network as well as the performance of the system components through power loss mitigation. In this study network reconfiguration was done using two meta-heuristic algorithms Particle Swarm Optimization and Gravitational Search Algorithm (PSO-GSA) to enhance power quality and voltage profile in the system when simultaneously applied with the DG units. Backward/Forward Sweep Method was used in the load flow analysis and simulated using the MATLAB program. Five cases were considered in the Reconfiguration based on the contribution of DG units. The proposed method was tested using IEEE 33 bus system. Based on the results, there was a voltage profile improvement in the system from 0.9038 p.u. to 0.9594 p.u.. The integration of DG in the network also reduced power losses from 210.98 kW to 69.3963 kW. Simulated results are drawn to show the performance of each case.

However, in different manufacturing industries, frugal approach is applied in product design and services as a tool for improvement. Frugal approach contributed to prove less is more and seems indirectly contributing to improve productivity. Hence, there is need to understand status of frugal approach application in manufacturing industries. All manufacturing industries are trying hard and putting continuous efforts for competitive existence. For productivity improvements, manufacturing industries are coming up with different effective and efficient solutions in manufacturing processes and operations. To overcome current challenges, manufacturing industries have started using frugal approach in product design and services. For this study, methodology adopted with both primary and secondary sources of data. For primary source interview and observation technique is used and for secondary source review has done based on available literatures in website, printed magazines, manual etc. An attempt has made for understanding application of frugal approach with the study of manufacturing industry project. Manufacturing industry selected for this project study is Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. This paper will help researcher to find the connections between the two concepts productivity improvement and frugal approach. This paper will help to understand significance of frugal approach for productivity improvement in manufacturing industry. This will also help to understand current scenario of frugal approach in manufacturing industry. In manufacturing industries various process are involved to deliver the final product. In the process of converting input in to output through manufacturing process productivity plays very critical role. Hence this study will help to evolve status of frugal approach in productivity improvement programme. The notion of frugal can be viewed as an approach towards productivity improvement in manufacturing industries.
A MULTIPLE – CHANNEL QUEUING MODELS ON FUZZY ENVIRONMENTIAEME Publication
In this paper, we investigated a queuing model of fuzzy environment-based a multiple channel queuing model (M/M/C) ( /FCFS) and study its performance under realistic conditions. It applies a nonagonal fuzzy number to analyse the relevant performance of a multiple channel queuing model (M/M/C) ( /FCFS). Based on the sub interval average ranking method for nonagonal fuzzy number, we convert fuzzy number to crisp one. Numerical results reveal that the efficiency of this method. Intuitively, the fuzzy environment adapts well to a multiple channel queuing models (M/M/C) ( /FCFS) are very well.
