➢ VCD are placed at beginning of each Duct.
➢ Backward curved Aerofoil blade Centrifugal fan is selected for AHU.
➢ Inline centrifugal fan is selected for Exhaust air.

PROJECT OVERVIEW ➢ Building type : Office type. ➢ Location : Bengaluru. ➢ Building area : 3, 28,561 ft². ➢ No. Of floors : Ground floor + 11 ➢ Indoor design conditions : 77° F, 50% RH. ➢ Air volume calculation type : VAV – single duct system. ➢ Peak total cooling load : 670 TR (diversity factor: 10%). ➢ Cooling Air Flow Requirement : 3, 49,190CFM ➢ Occupancies : 7102 people. ➢ Operation time : Day time working (5 days in week

AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM ➢ Floor mounted AHU is selected to distribute air. ➢ Comfort condition 77ºFAnd 50% RH. ➢ Chilled water inlet 8ºC And outlet is 15ºC . ➢ VCD are placed at beginning of each Duct. ➢ Backward curved Aerofoil blade Centrifugal fan is selected for AHU. ➢ Inline centrifugal fan is selected for Exhaust air. ➢ MERV – 8 Filter is selected for AHU.
  • 9. PLUMBING LAYOUT SANITORY PIPING • System type -1 pipe system. • Slope -1:100 is maintained. • Angle of bends -45 deg. • No of air changes -10 times (as per NBC). • Independent floor ventilation system is adopted. • Referred NBC-9 for plumbing design.
  • 10. FIRE FIGHTING ➢ Pipe sizing for the system is done by referring NBC part-4 “FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY”. • Table – 09 office buildings. Table – 23 fixture units for sanitary appliances. Table – 25, 26 sizing of drainage pipes. ➢ Sprinklers are placed properly as per their throw capacity ➢ Sprinkler used: Dry - pendant – hosted
