The firm, PRAMITEE ENGINEERING & SURVEYS PVT. LTD. (here after short formed as PESPL) was
formed in 2011 to tackle the growing requirements in the field of specialized Surveying arid other
engineering activity in the field of construction. Off late, we are involved in construction of high-
rise/ super high-rise buildings in Mumbai and Kolkata, alignment, construction, casting and erection
of Mumbai Monorail project and other different surveying activities in the country. This company
was earlier known as PMG (Project Management Group), which was involved in various survey and
engineering consultancy works around the country and abroad.
PMG/ PESPL is in the field of Civil Engineering Infrastructure Consultancy and surveying for last
seventeen years. We are working in the areas of water source development (Dams, Weirs &
Barrages), water transmission (transport), water distribution, Irrigation projects, Industrial, Civic
& Defense water supply schemes, Make Up Water supply system for Thermal Power Projects, HV
& EHV power transmission projects, wind power development projects, road & highway projects,
etc. We are fortunate to work with very esteemed clients of Government, Semi Government,
Corporate Organizations (Domestic & Multi-National) and at Overseas. We have extensive
experience of working in India as well as Abroad. We have completed around 200 numbers of

As stated above, PMG/ PESPL has worked in the field of Turnkey consultancy in WATER sector for
Industrial water supply schemes, Civic water supply schemes, Make-Up water supply for Thermal
Power Projects, Lift Irrigation Schemes, Canal Irrigation System, etc. PMG/ PESPL has investigated
and designed original water supply schemes and / or augmentation proposals for Kurkumbh MIDC
(i.e. Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation), Indapur MI DC. Dhule MIDC, Naroda MIDC,
Shrirampur MIDC, etc. PMG/ PESPL has prepared proposal for renovation of existing weir on Uthas
river supplying water to Ambernath (Mumbai) MIDC.
PMG/ PESPL has designed full water supply schemes for Defense Projects at Talegaon near Pune
and at Ozar near Nasik for Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).
The various industrial water supply projects designed for Maharashtra Industrial Development
Corporation and Make Up Water Supply Schemes for Thermal Power Projects had various assorted
implications and each system was a unique one. So also, the Lift Irrigation Schemes designed had
the situations of very high discharge with high delivery heads.

Surveying is the most important and vital service in any kind of infrastructural development. As India is
on verge of becoming global power, the infrastructure is bound to grow manifold. Seeing the need of
professional survey requirement in the country, we have developed a team of highly experienced
surveyors to undertake any kind of survey requirement in the country. While executing various
consultancy assignments, PESPL is required to undertake different type of topographic surveys and
investigations to cater the needs of the general layouts, preliminary proposals and detail designs of the
project. In doing so, in due course, PMG has been developed into a full-fledged Surveying Agency
capable to undertake exclusive topographic survey jobs on large scales. So far, PMG/ PESPL has
executed terrain surveys to the extent of 2 lakhs hectors and route corridor surveys to the extent of Ten
thousand kms for Irrigation projects, Water supply schemes, Wind power projects, HWEHV Power
Transmission lines, Road/Highway projects, Ports/Harbor sites, etc.
PESPL undertakes high quality Total Station Instrument surveys employing instruments having accuracy I
second to 5 seconds as per importance & requirements of the job. The close traversing is done
invariably with I second accuracy instrument to limit the admissible error. PESPL also carries out
GPS/DGPS survey with millimetric Horizontal and vertical accuracy. Hand held GPS instruments are used
for accuracy up to l meter. High accuracy DGPS instruments are employed for sub meter accuracy in
hydrography. The elevation values are determined using 1 mm accuracy Auto levels. The digital survey
data processing is carried out fully in house for which all the processing softwares are available with the
firm. The Firm has tied up with international experts to provide consultancy for Super High Rise
Buildings extending above 200 metre height for control of geometry and deployment of specialized
software/ systems to monitor their dynamic movement during the construction stages.
PESPL, as the Consultancy Firm in infrastructure development projects, is also required to stipulate and
monitor the soil investigation requirements for the design of various components of the project
assignments. In certain projects the Clients insist to bear the responsibility of undertaking soil
investigations, too, from our end so as to fulfill the correctness of design parameters. In such cases, we get
the investigation field work done through our trusted associated agencies and PESPL closely monitors the
sample extracting process, field testing, laboratory sample testing and report producing. PESPL has the
association of the well-known Geo-Tech Consultant, Prof. G. B. Choudhari, M. Tech. (Geo-Tech),
IIT(Mumbai), Emeritus Fellow, WTI — Mumbai as our Chief Consultant for organizing and directing the
entire Geo-Technical activity. Prof. Choudhari has versatile knowledge, plentiful research background and

Land Survey Division
PESPL uses advance data acquisition system (Total Station, RTK GPS) and processing software for
preparation of drawings, carrying out all types of Topographic survey for the following categories:
o Rail/ Road Surveys
These services are offered to determine condition of pavement sub layers &
location of any potentially dangerous voids. Further, these surveys can also be
used for utility mapping to accurately map position & depth of all utilities
o Route Survey
These surveys comprise surveying of the earth’s surface along a specific
route. Using latest methodologies for this, we collect data and facts regarding
topographical, geological, soil and other maps. Latest surveying instruments
used in the process including plane-table, tachymetry, and aerial photo
topographic surveying or exploratory surveying that assures reliable route
survey.
Some of the important features in the execution of our survey services are
Center line marking, L-section & X-section leveling, Calculate the quality of

Hydrographic surveys of ports and harbours are undertaken primarily to support the
safe navigation of vessels. Port authorities are charged with maintaining and
develop-ing their harbours with regard to harbour use, and the size of vessels the
harbours ac-commodate. This duty of maintenance covers several specific
requirements, including the execution of hydrographic surveys. To meet increasing
demands for volume and efficiency, ships are becoming larger and, with maximum
loading, under keel clearances are diminishing. Consequently, there is an increased
burden of responsibility on port administrators and surveyors to ensure that
hydrographic surveys are undertaken to appropriate standards by appropriately
qualified personnel.
o Dredging surveys
In relation to dredging, Surveying is the science of establishing control points for
establishment of channels, canals, underwater structures, underwater mining areas
and determination of seabed and land topography. Dredging on the other hand is
simply excavation of underwater soil, rocks and mineral resources for various
purposes. The need for survey operations cannot be emphasized enough.

studies. Geophysical surveys may use a great variety of sensing instruments, and
data may be collected from above or below the Earth's surface or from aerial, orbital,
or marine platforms. Geophysical surveys have many applications in Earth
science, archaeology, mineral and energy exploration, oceanography,
and engineering. Geophysical surveys are used in industry as well as for academic
research.
o Diving Support — Positioning Service
Diving is a rapidly growing activity globally, be it for commercial or recreational
purposes. It is well known that diving is hazardous and serious or fatal accidents
occur regularly. Our surveyors provide accurate underwater positioning for diving
support using USBL.
