This document is a training report submitted by lonemohsinnazeer who completed training at the R&B Department Division in Baramulla.
The training involved visiting construction sites to learn about design and construction aspects. The R&B Department was constructing a Lecture Block at the Women's College in Baramulla.
The report describes the construction process and specifications used for the foundation, superstructure, wood works, ceiling, roofing, flooring, plaster and paints. It provides photos of the construction site, excavation work, and framework being removed.
Summer Internship Presentation of Building Self-employed
This presentation includes various types of information which are precisely done at the time of internship. This includes Short detail of company, project, process, difficulties faced and some simple formulae to calculate the Quantity and estimation of materials used.
Heavy duty pavements are pavements subjected to the extremely heavy wheel loads associated with freight handling vehicles in industrial facilities, such as container terminals and warehouses. Heavy duty pavement need to handle many types of freight handling vehicles, such as forklifts, straddle carriers, gantry cranes and side loaders. Heavy duty pavement often deals with slow moving or even static traffic load with ultra high load magnitude. Furthermore, the load wandering for heavy duty pavement such as contain port or warehouse is more significant than normal highway or urban road pavement. The goal of pavement design is to determine the number, material composition and thickness of the different layers within a pavement structure required to accommodate a given loading regime.
IRC:15-2017 CODE OF PRACTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF JOINTED PLAIN CONCRETE PAVEM...BrahmaV1
CODE OF PRACTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF JOINTED PLAIN CONCRETE PAVEMENTS -
This Code of Practice is intended to indicate what is considered to be good practice for the construction of jointed plain concrete pavements, including preparation of the subgrade and sub-base underneath these pavements.
The Code deals with various aspects of jointed plain concrete pavement construction, like, materials, equipment, proportioning, measurement, handling of materials, and mixing subgrade and sub-base preparation, formwork, joints, reinforcement of concrete, placing, llnishing, curing, evaluation for acceptance criteria etc.

Workability of concrete is defined as the ease and homogeneity with which a freshly mixed concrete or mortar can be mixed, placed, compacted and finished. Strictly, it is the amount of useful internal work necessary to produce 100% compaction.

A highway pavement is a structure consisting of superimposed layers of processed materials above the natural soil sub-grade, whose primary function is to distribute the applied vehicle loads to the sub-grade. The pavement structure should be able to provide a surface of acceptable riding quality, adequate skid resistance, favorable light reflecting characteristics, and low noise pollution.

PRESENT APPLICATION OFRESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN PREFABRICATED AND IN-SITU CONSTR...civej
Currently, prefabricated building plays a leading role in construction. Mounting with the standardization
and mechanization, Prefabrication has brought an extensive transformation in the construction industry
around the world. Moreover the associated advancements to the local construction industry with the
espousal of more mechanization, intelligent management systems and computer aided manufacturing; the
wide-ranging use of prefabrication also contributes to sustainable development by means of cleaner and
more resources saving production process. The main aim of this paper is to present a prefabricated
construction based on time and cost utilization over than in-situ construction. Also forecast the general
idea about the development and application of prefabrication method in the construction of large-scale and
high-rise buildings. The factors like time and cost are analyzed in normal construction and in prefabricated
construction companies. The results are shown by using management software tools.
This PPT includes the details about Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) it's History, Application, Equipment required, Tests, Process, Materials Used, Merits, Demerits, Scope, Ready Mix Vs Site Mix, Consumption and Growth in India and it's Conclusion.
Prefabrication is the practice of assembling components of a structure in a factory or other manufacturing site and transporting to the construction site where the structure is to be located.
It is combination of good design with modern high performance components and quality controlled manufacturing procedures.
Question :
Write advantages and disadvantages of precast concrete technology in developing countries like India?
Question :
List down situation where precast concrete technology is preferred over conventional cast in situ RCC system?
Most construction sites that run into trouble do so for reasons related to managerial factors rather than because of technical problems. The site-based management can make significant improvements in the cost and time savings during the construction process without involving a mass of additional work. The role of site managers is to control and maintain work performance and then taking actions to rectify situations where performance is unsatisfactory.
Concepts and Formulas of Construction Site Layout Planning Elements:
A well-planned site including all temporary facilities and utilities lead to: 1) increasing productivity and safety, 2) reducing area(s) needed for temporary construction, and 3) maximizing utilization. The following points should be considered in good site layout
Site layout planning can affect productivity and is crucial to project success. However, as construction is heterogeneous in the nature of its organizations, project designs, time constraints, environmental effects, etc., site layout planning for each project becomes unique. Affected by many uncertainties variables! And variations, site layout planning is a typical multi objective problem.
Problem solving requires representing the problem in a language that problem solvers can understand. However, solutions of most construction problems rely on empirical Knowledge about the site layout that can be as a site space allocation for material storage, working areas, units of accommodation, plant positions, general circulation areas, and also access and egress for deliveries and emergency services. Furthermore, conflicting objectives and the uniqueness of construction projects like bad site layout make the problems difficult to conceptualize and define.

Final project report on grocery store management system..pdfKamal Acharya
In today’s fast-changing business environment, it’s extremely important to be able to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. If your customers wish to see your business online and have instant access to your products or services.
Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.
Student information management system project report ii.pdfKamal Acharya
Our project explains about the student management. This project mainly explains the various actions related to student details. This project shows some ease in adding, editing and deleting the student details. It also provides a less time consuming process for viewing, adding, editing and deleting the marks of the students.

Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand. There are two type of water scarcity. One is physical. The other is economic water scarcity.
3. INTRODUCTION
I did my training in 8TH of June 2018 under R & B, SUB-DIVISION
BARAMULLA.
I visited construction sites and gained knowledge of the various aspects
of the design, construction.
R & B Department has got the assignment of the construction of
Lecture Block at Women’s College Baramulla.
Estimated to be completed, subjected to the availability of funds in
time.
The estimated cost of one project is approximately, depending upon the
location of site, availability of labour, water, transportation facilities,
etc
8. QUALITY CHECKS FOR FILLING
Recording initial ground level
Sample is approved for back filling.
Necessary marking/ reference points are established
for final level of backfilling.
Back filling is being carried out in layers (15cm to
20cm).
Required watering, compaction is done.
Required density is achieved.
9. QUALITY CHECKS FOR EXCAVATION
Recording initial ground level and check size of
