Dr. Prabha Malhotra was born in 1934 in Sialkot, Pakistan and migrated to Mumbai before partition. She received her schooling, college education, MBBS and DGO from KEM medical college in Mumbai. She had a private practice starting in 1956 in Agra, India where she founded one of the first private nursing homes. She delivered over 50,000 babies as a brilliant and compassionate obstetrician in Agra before succumbing to a long illness in 2011.
