This document provides an overview of a water treatment plant project in Kota, Rajasthan, India. It discusses the goals of providing drinking water to 60 villages. Water will be taken from the Chambal River and treated through various processes controlled by a PLC and SCADA system. These include intake pumps, sedimentation tanks, WTP with clarifiers and filters, clear water reservoirs, and distribution to clusters and villages in two phases. Automation is implemented to ensure consistent water quality and reduce operating costs. Pictures from a similar completed project in Jodhpur are also included.

PLC based Multichannel Automatic Liquid Level ControllerVijay Badgujar
PLC based Multichannel Automatic Liquid Level Controller aims to control the level of liquid automatically so that water going waste due to overflow of tanks can be saved easily.
In this project , Two liquid level sensors are provided for overhead tanks and source tanks. Those liquid level sensors are low level sensors and high sensors. These sensors sense the level of liquid and operate relays and serves inputs to Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is programmed to control liquid level and maintain it at specific level in overhead tanks automatically.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Implementation Of Automated System For The Reservoir 66 of the Irrigati...Victor Asanza
This paper presents the control and monitoring of an automated system that is being implemented for the automation of a 66-irrigation reservoir located in Chambo Guano in the Chimborazo province, Ecuador. The Global System for Mobile communication / General Packet Radio Service (GSM) is used through a Long-Term Evolution (4G LTE) antenna and a communication module connected to a Programable Logic Controller (PLC) in order to notify the status of the valves, electric power troubles and the control signals for the correct operation of the irrigation system, so it can be done remotely. This project reflects how it is possible to obtain an efficient automated system with lower operating costs compared to the traditional and more importantly without having to move personnel to the control point for adjusting new conditions.
Results:
Efficiency: The margin of savings is directly related to the efficiency of the system because a timely response saves time and money not only to those in charge of the irrigation system, but also to the beneficiaries or irrigators.
Standardization of irrigation processes: When mentioning the standardization of the irrigation processes, it is necessary to verify the service conditions and current state of the reservoirs to analyze to what extent it is possible to achieve standardization of the automated process. Understanding that it will be done with the same devices, or equipment’s, to control actuators of similar characteristics.
Scalability of the control panel: The control panel installed in the reservoir 66 offers the scalability feature, it can accept more variables of future processes because of the modem and the mobile antenna.
Control for the flow delivered to users: The flow delivered to the users at present cannot be quantified because the equipment that performed the processing of that data have fulfilled their useful lifetime.

Automatic tank level control using arduino mega convertedKunal Adhikari
Water is the most important Nature’s gift to mankind. Without water there is no life, especially now that fresh water is endangered. So, water management should reduce its wastage. As a first step, this controller will automatically switch ON and OFF the domestic water pump system depending on the water tank and underground sump levels (to prevent dry run of pump). In this paperwork an effort is made to design a cost-effective circuit and complete system using Arduino and Ultrasonic transducers, to be used in water level indication. It will control the storage level of water in a tank through SPST relay to provide water thoroughly, without any wastage of water or power.

0x01 - Newton's Third Law: Static vs. Dynamic AbusersOWASP Beja
f you offer a service on the web, odds are that someone will abuse it. Be it an API, a SaaS, a PaaS, or even a static website, someone somewhere will try to figure out a way to use it to their own needs. In this talk we'll compare measures that are effective against static attackers and how to battle a dynamic attacker who adapts to your counter-measures.

3. AIM
To provide drinking water facilities in 60 problematic villages
and 21 other habitation.
Take water from river chambal and sent to INTAKE at
Akelgarh.
To provide 1.5 MGD @ 22 hours with 4 nos filter beds size each
4.20mX3.05m.
This project is divided into two phase, first is CWPH that
provide water to four ESR & second is for 16 ESR.
This project is fully automated where all Mechanical,Electrical
& Instrumentation equipment are controlled through plc.
In control room that located at pratapgargh all process are
shown on SCADA.
All data/information of equipments are send via GSM/GPRS.
4. Why do we need automation
WTP/STP/ETP need a specific time base logic that can
never achieved with accuracy by manual operation.
In order to achieve consistent quality of water in every
cycle, parameter of water quality-PH, DO, BOD,
chemical oxygen demand need to be maintain.
Operating cost of plant reduces with automation as
few/single operator can command fully automatic
plants.
Using remote monitoring & control feature we can
plant shutdown or at least reduces diagnostic time.
PROCEES AUTOMATION
5. PLC
The PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is a purpose-built machine
control computer designed to read digital and analog inputs from various
sensors.
Why do we need PLC
We have to designed STP/WTP/ETP controller with all required
facilities and then need to install and start only.
In electrical control panel auto-manual switches & its associated
wiring can be minimized as we have auto-manual mode in our
controller in built-saves cost and space.
In manual & auto mode in our controller each tank
level/pressure/flow/pump status etc can be monitored on LCD
screen.
Very low cost solution through PLC based system.
6. SCADA
SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) is a system
operating with coded signals over communication channels so as
to provide control of remote equipment.
Why do we need SCADA
In control room single engineer can see status of valves, pumps,
flow-meter etc. & operate manually also.
The data can be display in anyway the user requires.
The computer can record and stored a very large amount of data.
7. EPANET SOFTWARE
The design of cluster distribution mains has been done based using
EPANET software.
It performs extended-period simulation of hydraulic and water-quality
behavior within pressurized pipe networks.
EPANET provides an integrated environment for editing network
input data, running hydraulic and water quality simulations, and
viewing the results in a variety of formats.
It allow users to analyze the movement of a reactive or non-
reactive tracer material which spreads through the network over
time.
