Public Health Engineering Department
The main function of the Public Health
Engineering Department is to plan, implement &
maintain Rural and Urban Water Supply
Schemes, rural sanitation schemes. The District
Level administration of the Public Health
Engineering Department undertakes field
investigation, survey, data collection,
preparation, execution & maintenance of
schemes. Govt are continuously investing a
huge amount to develop Drinking water network
with WTP plant at urban ,semi urban and rural
rears also /Sewerage network plant at urban
Project Brief
The purpose of the project is to built a water
treatment plant scheme for the village. The work
augmented at the site village Nindana tehsil
Meham district Rohtak (HARYANA). The project
norms are under the scheme Swaran Jayanti
Maha Gram Vikas Yojna (SMAGY). The tender
opened on dated 23.07.2019 under authority of
Engineer in Chief, Haryana, Public Health
Engineering Department Panchkula conveyed
by Superintending Engineer Public Health
Main project components
WATER WORKS :
The main component of project involves
Design, testing, commissioning of automated
PLC controlled SCADA based water purification
plant of 3 MLD capacity at water works no. 1
and 1 MLD capacity at water works no. 2 in
Nindana comprising of 2 nos S & S tank, 4 nos.
Clear water tank, pumping station with
machinery at Mohmadpur pana, 2 no. brick
masonary Pump chamber and installation of
machinery for Clear water and raw water at
water works no. 1 and 2, laying, jointing, cutting
Swaran Jayanti Maha Gram Vikas Yojna
(SMAGY)
Mahagram Yojana envisages providing
sewerage system, Improvements of drinking
water supply, construction of pucca streets,
improvement in electricity etc., which was
launched by the State government through
Development and Panchayat Department.
Sewerage System will be provided in the
villages where population is more than
10,000 persons as per census 2011. In the

• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
• Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
The proposed automation solution for waste water treatment
plant involves the use of a series of small control systems that
run the facility, PLC continuously monitor the operation of
pumps, closures and other devices, collect and execute
commands coming from the higher levels. PLCs are used to
control various processes based on the data and the built-in
algorithm. According to the given specifications, a control panel
was created in a suitable SCADA software for the control and
monitoring of waste water treatment, which requires the

  • 3. Project Brief The purpose of the project is to built a water treatment plant scheme for the village. The work augmented at the site village Nindana tehsil Meham district Rohtak (HARYANA). The project norms are under the scheme Swaran Jayanti Maha Gram Vikas Yojna (SMAGY). The tender opened on dated 23.07.2019 under authority of Engineer in Chief, Haryana, Public Health Engineering Department Panchkula conveyed by Superintending Engineer Public Health

Main project components WATER WORKS : The main component of project involves Design, testing, commissioning of automated PLC controlled SCADA based water purification plant of 3 MLD capacity at water works no. 1 and 1 MLD capacity at water works no. 2 in Nindana comprising of 2 nos S & S tank, 4 nos. Clear water tank, pumping station with machinery at Mohmadpur pana, 2 no. brick masonary Pump chamber and installation of machinery for Clear water and raw water at water works no. 1 and 2, laying, jointing, cutting
