The Haiderpur Water Treatment Plant in Delhi is the largest water treatment plant in Asia, with a capacity of 200 MGD. It draws raw water from two sources - the Western Jamuna Canal and Bhakra Storage. The plant has two independent treatment plants, each with a capacity of 100 MGD. The treatment process includes coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection to produce clean drinking water for over 18 lakh people in areas of northwest Delhi.
