Power Rangers
 Live-action children's television series featuring teams of costumed
heroes.
 American adaptation of Japanese tokusatsu Super Sentai show.
 The first Power Rangers entry, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,
debuted in 1993.
 As of 2014, the show consists of 20 television seasons of 17 different
themed series and two theatrical films.
Power Rangers
 Power Rangers programs mainly consist of :
- drama scenes featuring English-speaking actors
- action scenes from the Japanese Super Sentai Series featuring the Rangers
fighting monsters with English dubbing
- the giant robot battles.

History
Who is Saban Entertainment?
Independent American-Israeli television production company
formed in 1983 by music and television producers Haim Saban and
Shuki Levy.
• "Saban International Paris" (now SIP Animation);
• "Saban Productions“ (U.S. subsidiary).
Power Rangers
 Saban Entertainment created Power Rangers as an American
adaptation of the 1992 Japanese Super Sentai Series, Kyōryū Sentai
Zyuranger (1993-2001)  success!
 Walt Disney Company purchased the franchise for $3 Billions (2001-
2009).
The Buy-Back
 Saban Brands bought back the Power Rangers franchise from
Disney for $43 million on May 12, 2010.
• Producing new seasons of TV series;
• Planning to make new Power Rangers Movie, etc.
Business development
 Saban Brands extended agreements with Nickelodeon and Bandai
America Incorporated through 2016 for its globally recognized
Power Rangers franchise (2013).

marketing through IRIS Distribution and other content distribution by
Marvista Entertainment.
 Expanding licensing portfolio – open for new product licenses based on
first come basis for different markets.
 Merchandising – diverse product portfolio time to time from limited
edition t-shirts, toys to home decors, bedsheets etc in global markets.
Growing Product Portfolio
 Started with 700 episodes, with all rights, and with room for adding
the new content to the show.
 Introduction of new characters in the show has two purposes: to
keep the show interesting and to covert that into merchandize sales.
 Merchandize include swimwear, sleepwear, sportswear, home
décor, a limited edition t-shirt collection featuring fan-created art,
masks, coloring books, balloons, bedsheets, character toys etc.
 Strong retail market confidence on the brand.
 Power Rangers annual sales are at about $100 million in action
figures and licensed merchandise sales.
 It has reached to an audience in over above 60 countries, in their
local languages and is increasing its reach.
 Power Rangers characters are used for promotional activities of
others like McDonalds ($20 Million deal).
 Partnered with Lionsgate Films, for a new Power Ranger feature film
for launching a series of Power Ranger films.

Power Rangers  Live-action children's television series featuring teams of costumed heroes.  American adaptation of Japanese tokusatsu Super Sentai show.  The first Power Rangers entry, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, debuted in 1993.  As of 2014, the show consists of 20 television seasons of 17 different themed series and two theatrical films.
  • 4. Power Rangers  Power Rangers programs mainly consist of : - drama scenes featuring English-speaking actors - action scenes from the Japanese Super Sentai Series featuring the Rangers fighting monsters with English dubbing - the giant robot battles.

Independent American-Israeli television production company formed in 1983 by music and television producers Haim Saban and Shuki Levy. • "Saban International Paris" (now SIP Animation); • "Saban Productions“ (U.S. subsidiary). Power Rangers  Saban Entertainment created Power Rangers as an American adaptation of the 1992 Japanese Super Sentai Series, Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger (1993-2001)  success!  Walt Disney Company purchased the franchise for $3 Billions (2001- 2009).

Growing Product Portfolio  Started with 700 episodes, with all rights, and with room for adding the new content to the show.  Introduction of new characters in the show has two purposes: to keep the show interesting and to covert that into merchandize sales.  Merchandize include swimwear, sleepwear, sportswear, home décor, a limited edition t-shirt collection featuring fan-created art, masks, coloring books, balloons, bedsheets, character toys etc.  Strong retail market confidence on the brand.
  • 12.  Power Rangers annual sales are at about $100 million in action figures and licensed merchandise sales.  It has reached to an audience in over above 60 countries, in their local languages and is increasing its reach.  Power Rangers characters are used for promotional activities of others like McDonalds ($20 Million deal).  Partnered with Lionsgate Films, for a new Power Ranger feature film for launching a series of Power Ranger films.
