This document contains a portfolio of landscape design projects completed by Ian Rose. It includes projects in Dubai, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, and Tunisia focused on waterfront developments, commercial properties, infrastructure, heritage sites, and master planning. The projects were completed for government entities and private developers and involved concept design, detailed design, and tender services.

building for Marbu Contrac-ng Company to be built in Energy City, Qatar.

IKEA External Works
Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
Aldar
Working with the IKEA appointed architect and Aldar to develop the
landscape design for the new IKEA store located on Yas Island in Abu
Dhabi. Reflec-ng the design style of IKEA as well as providing a xeriscape
solu-on in line with Aldar’s ambi-on to create a sustainable community.

STEP Pumping Sta-on PS‐01

new sewage pumping sta-on in Abu Dhabi. Concept to address
issues of sustainability and sand movement as well as using

interchange at entrance to Yas Island and associated 6km
of freeway, providing a design statement for this major
new development area which includes the UAE Formula 1
track.

Prepara-on of 3 tender landscape concepts for 326km of motorway
linking from Mafraq to Ghweifat on the KSA border crossing the Sabhka
Ma_, a unique environmental area. Concepts had to address shortage of
irriga-on water, extreme salinity and high water table while crea-ng a

Conserva-on and Rehabilita-on of Al Muayjii
Fort, Al Ain
Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage
Working with a UK exhibi-on and interpreta-on specialist 4 concepts for
the external landscape area of the fort were created to accommodate the
new site uses once the fort was developed into an exhibi-on and
museum celebra-ng local life and the life of Late Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed
