                                                                           We are progressing detailed proposals for this major new
                                                                           Residential and Office/Leisure quarter in Leeds. The mixed use
                                                                           philosophy of Quarry Hill will provide a range of uses including
                                                                           prestigious offices, restaurants and city living with further
                                                                           environmental and social benefits including the provision of high
                                                                           quality public realm and a vibrant new public space for the City.

                                                                           The site is located within one of the cities ‘Prestige Development
                                                                           Areas’ and with an area of approximately 3.27 hectares (8.1
                                                                           Acres) will form the eastern ‘Gateway’ into the city.

                                                                           There is already a fascinating mixture of uses upon the site with
                                                                           the West Yorkshire Playhouse, The Northern College of Music,
                                                                           The Yorkshire Dance Company, the BBC North HQ and The
                                                                           Northern Ballet Theatre Company, providing a vibrant cultural
                                                                           base.

                                                                           Our scheme will add to this over 500 new apartments with a
                                                                           mix of 1 and 2 beds plus a further mix of studios and crash
                                                                           pads. The introduction of health facilities, creches, fitness and
                                                                           convienience retail are also being considered.




The Design’s maintain the strong east/west axis
through the site, and introduces an informal
geometry to the massing to introduce a human
and pedestrian friendly approach to the new and
existing buildings.
