This document discusses the author's strengths and weaknesses across multiple intelligences. Their strongest intelligences are visual-spatial, intrapersonal, and naturalistic, while their weakest are linguistic and interpersonal. They believe their intrapersonal strength comes from preferring solitary work, and their low linguistic score is due to an emphasis on science from their mother rather than vocabulary. Group work in class did not suit their learning preferences. Hands-on visual and naturalistic activities would have been most engaging for their learning style.

3. My Strengths and Weaknesses
• My strengths on the multiple intelligences test were the strongest
in Visual-Spatial, Intrapersonal, and Naturalistic intelligences while
my lower scores were in the Linguistic and Interpersonal
intelligence fields. I believe that the reason why my intrapersonal
intelligence was my strongest was due to the fact that I am
constantly withdrawn and have a tendency to study on my own.
Even when I was younger, I would always want to work on my own
and dreaded working in groups because I have strong opinions on
how certain activities should be accomplished. This creates
problems for me when I am working in a group which is why my
interpersonal intelligence was one of my lowest scores. My lowest
score was in the linguistic field which I believe is because my mom is
a science teacher and so she put more emphasis on learning science
(why I am a naturalistic learner) rather than on vocabulary and
spelling.

4. Intrapersonal Intelligence
• In the drugs and consciousness unit, the assignment related to one of
my strongest intelligences very well (visual-spatial) however, it would
have been a lot easier for me if we had not worked in groups on the
website you assigned us to create. It was very difficult for me to get
my own group together and there was even some confusion as to who
was in whose group. A great activity for the drugs and consciousness
chapters would have been for me to create a PowerPoint on my own
rather than in a group. This would have greatly helped me because I
have a highly strong intrapersonal intelligence so I would have been
more effective with my work on the drug website.

5. Visual-Spatial Intellect
• My visual-spatial intellect is my second
strongest way of learning. This means that I
can easily learn by someone showing me
what to do through
movies, drawings, charts, etc. An experiment
that could have better helped me in the
classical conditioning unit would involve me
making or finding a movie of someone who is
being conditioned rather than a comic strip. I
am a strong visual-spatial learner and I feel
that if I had seen the characters move, I
would have been much more interested in
the “ToonDoo” website rather than just
looking at boxes. Although, the activity you
had us participate in was very helpful to me
anyways.

6. A Naturalistic Mind
• The brain experiment (we had to make
a brain out of Styrofoam and play-do)
was also very helpful to me already.
Another activity that could have been
done though was an activity in which I
could have made the brains of other
animals. This would have helped me in a
compare/contrast sense because I have
a strong sense of naturalistic learning. I
would have been better able to
discriminate parts of the brain through
either comparing or contrasting a
human brain to that of another species.
I also feel that if I had made it in an
outdoors environment, I could have
been able to focus my thoughts more
on the project rather than getting
distracted by the technologies in my
house.
