planner, the complexity of the job, and
geographic factors

of lawyers, engineers, biologists, etc.
 Consultation costs – website, social media,
communication strategy, events, meals, etc.
CIP has no role in setting fees for planners, but
you can ask consultants to provide rates.
Like other professionals, fees will average between
$100 to $300 per hour, typically based on
experience and education.
