This document provides planning details for a short film, including: 1) An outline of 5 scenes with descriptions of visual elements and audio notes. 2) A statement that additional shots will be decided on to reach the recommended length of 60-90 seconds. 3) Sections on visual planning with concepts of pre-visualization, storyboarding, and a shot list. 4) Organizational planning detailing the cast, filming location, and equipment needs. 5) Soundtrack planning listing environmental sound effects and music/audio elements to be used.

As of so far I don’t have all of my shots decided and made up(I am going to decide the rest of them
soon to get up to the recommended time which is 60-90 seconds), they are not in any particular order
either, I would just like to include them because they will make my movie that much more interesting.

5. Visual Planning

6.  This section is concerned with the visual planning of your film
 You should use this section to develop the sequencing or your
video, establish the visuals look and sequencing of your film and
create a structure for you to follow when filming
 It is important that you ‘pre-visualise’ the film before you make it; it
will make filming and production a more streamlined process

 Provides inspiration and information for the “look & feel”
 Presents key moments in your video
 A means to sketch/plan ideas
 Information on colour/lighting
 Defining the “mise-en-scene”

approach in your own way, add more as you need to

15. Organisational Planning

16. All of these people are going to be in my film except for me I am going to be
filming it so this is my cast. The main actor will be aryton, the side character will
be Alex and the double will be Fintan. I do not have any backup options instead
of this so if something goes wrong ill have to think on the fly.

17. I am going to be filming just outside of college in the underpass and this should be the
best location for my film, the lighting and way everything looks suits my film so well but
if it is not possible to film some shots here due to whatever reason then I will use the
place by the bike sheds. Me and the rest of the cast can all make it there because we
will be filming during college hours which is convenient.

22.  The only things I will be bringing are the ski mask and gun
both of which I have at home and can bring them in really
easily everything else will just be provided for me, such as
the equipment which I will be responsible for and we are not
moving that far so there is no need for concern.

23. Soundtrack Planning

24.  These are sounds in the environment, part of the ‘world’ your
character experiences – these can be recorded on location,
produced afterwards using foley techniques, etc. Some use of
royalty free sounds is permitted, but you must list their sources
and information
