means of providing the audience with the direct actions of the lyrics
“check my phone”. In context, demonstrates that he may be expecting
someone to contact him, a friend or ‘client’ in such instance.
Plastic transparent bags containing green plants will be incorporated
to visualise the use of Cannabis. Shown within the lyrics “we proceed

also. Notably, as such content is explicit, will become distorted;
providing audiences with an insight to the prop and not a clear view.
This will set the drug aspect of our main artist.
Within the music video, sunglasses are going to be implemented to hide the

Within the music video, park sceneries based upon my local area will be used as a location
to suit the means of a social space for teenagers. Whereby, conventions of smoking and
drug consumption will be apparent; a typical scenery of such activities. In consideration of
pre-existing Hip Hop music videos, park sceneries are common and provide audiences with
the insight that the video may be of a Hip Hop basis.
Streets
Within the music video, street sceneries around my town, Bedford, will be used as a
location to suit the means of an urban environment, whereby most performance based
scenes will be acted in. Streets will be used to highlight the importance of environment
and the Hip-Hop genre. This is because Hip-Hop is a street genre further more, it will
give audience a brief idea of our artists lifestyle and his social background which will be
visible throughout his area.
House
Within the music video, house environments will be incorporated as a location to suit the
lyrics of being present within a bedroom and living room. In consideration of pre-existing Hip
Hop music videos, bedroom environments are generally unseen of and would provide a
unique vibe to audiences of our music video. In contrast, living room environments are
commonly seen within Hip Hop music videos, whereby audiences can relate a scene to a
house environment. Also giving audience an insight to our artist's life which is uncommon
but should work.
17. Dawid Jurkowski (Run Down)
Within the music video, Dawid Jurkowski will appear to be wearing casual clothing,
suited to the typical clothing choices of teenage people. Such choices include a
‘thug like’ appeal; tracksuit bottoms, plain coloured t-shirt, snapback and colourless
footwear. Which, our actor will adopt such appeal, whereby an audience can
suggest the artist's personality, interests and social status. In terms of lyrical
context, suits the means of enhancing a rebeliant individual; being that ‘thug like’
clothing choices are typically branded to trouble making teenage figures. We have
decided to dress our artist in this manner as he is from the D-C social background,
hence his clothing sense. Furthermore our audience can relate to his clothing style,
as they are most likely from the same social background as they are students and
young adults.
Bartek Wielblad (Friend)
Within the music video, Bartek Wielblad will appear to be wearing casual
clothing choice, suited to the typical clothing choices of teenage people.
As a friend of the artist within the video, Bartek will similarly appeal to a
‘thug like’ fashion sense. Inevitably, will be seen wearing trainers,
tracksuit bottoms and a hooded jacket. Such appeal will allow an
audience to suggest that Bartek has similar interests in relation to Dawid.
Therefore Bartek is dressed similarly to Dawid to fit the same social
background therefore relating again to our target audience.

How is our chosen actor suited to the our music video?
Our chosen artist is named ‘Run Down’, in which Dawid Jurkowski is most suited to the role. Dawid, presents a relaxed
body posture; suiting the theme of the song: relaxation. Which, such body language imitates that of typical Hip Hop
artists. Furthermore, Dawid appeals to be stylish in terms of fashion sense; suiting fashion influencing within music
videos.
Acting as the artist, Dawid Jurkowski will be performing to all the allocated lyrics within the song; as a solo performance.
He will feature within park, house and street scenes to provide a visual representation of environments relative to the
lyrics. Dawid 'Run Down' will be presented as a rebellious teenager visible through out the video. He will behave as a
'Pop Star' by doing controversial actions such as drugs however it's intended for audience purposes so the audience
can view the negative aspect of drug life. Therefore the reason for casting him as the main actor.

An additional acting participant is Bartek Wielblad, who proposes to a friend of the artist. Like Dawid, possesses a
calming body posture; enhancing relaxation even more. In which, Bartek will be acting as a meetup figure. Whereby, will
be observed meeting with the artist within the closing instrumental scene. Bartek fits perfectly as a supporting actor
within the video due to his similar social class and clothing sense to our main artist therefore both 'Run Down' and
'Bartek' are chosen as they fit to the target audience of young adults and teenagers therefore our audience can relate to
them. As both ‘Run Down’ and ‘Bartek’ are visually typical teenagers.
