10. Money
We will need £2,360,097
This amount is less than the average budget for British films giving a higher chance of
making a larger profit
To keep the cost low, we’ve decided to have unknown actors. This is common in horror
films as it creates a realistic atmosphere as the stars aren’t known, creating mystery.
Our story takes place in a small location so there’s going to be no cost wasted on travelling
Some of the money will be spent on the special effects & the stunt people we will need for
certain scenes
We will also need to pay for camera equipment, props & editing
This money is also accounted for marketing which plays an important role in making a
profit for our film. The promoting will be done by showing trailers in cinemas &
YouTube, billboards, posters, websites, & social networking .
