The World of Picasso Picasso was born in the Andalusia city of Malaga. October 25 th  1818.  Andalusia city of Malaga.    Picasso
Family- Father His dad was a drawing teacher His hair was red. That is were he got his nick name “English Man”.
Family- Mother His mother, Maria, Picasso Lopez, a petite Andalusia with eyes as black as her hair.
The Art of His Day When Picasso went to Paris in 1900 he entered a city that was lively with impressionism, abstract and the artists  own unique way.
What do the paintings say From 1901 to 1904 Picasso’s paintings became predominantly blue, and, as a consequence, this period as become known as his blue period.
How were how they made? With cubism came a new approach to art. Both Picasso and Braque work pushing the limits the way in which objects could the represented in a picture.
Famous Images  In 1936 Picasso beloved Spain was plunged into civil war. An uprising from the right wing military generals. Spain became a battle ground.
The audiences of the pictures Picasso was fortunate to find people who were ready to support him from a relatively early time in his life.  They loved the painting color print of a watercolor by Picasso, 1917
The Critics  The critics Felicren Fagus wrote in the magazine,  La revue blanche : “Picasso is a painter, absolutely and beautifully.
A lasting impression  Picasso is arguably the most important artist of the 20 th  centenary. He produced a huge number of paintings, drawings, prints, and sculptures, and most museums of modern art throughout the world of examples of his work.
