Rebecca Phillips
 I chose this model from my music
    magazine because she is interested
in the music genre of which my
music magazine is of. Therefore her
    fashion sense is already influenced
    by this music.
 I asked her to bring her own clothes
of the black jumper and jewellery.
Her clothes are very much like the
ones that can be seen in my
    inspiration PowerPoint.
 She represents the genre of music
    my magazine is targeting at
because of her appearance and the
    stereotypes of indie/hipster
    fashion.
 She also signifies a variety of
    ethnicities therefore trying to not
to limited the ethnicity of my
    magazine but instead focusing on
the genre of music and the fashion
    sense which comes with that.
This is a photo of me doing my model’s make-up. I wanted lots of dark
eye make-up in order for her eyes to really stand out on the photo. I
therefore kept the rest of the make-up minimal but emphasised her eyes
and eyebrows.
I chose to shoot my photo-shoot
inside because it allowed me to
edit the lighting. I used a white
sheet attached to a green screen
to ensure that I had lots of light
within the background.
Furthermore I used the 3 lamps
shown and a reflector screen to put
as much light on my
model as I could.
The sheet as
gave a nice back-
ground as the
shadows created
a flow of
material like
that can be again
seen in my
inspiration.
