2. In the centre of the image is the chests of the two main members but the focus of
the photo is at the top where the faces are.
On the outskirts of the photo is a plain background which makes the audiences
attention focus on the main image.
The photo has been staged and taken in a studio. I believe that the band members
were put into that position and things such as lighting were changed to fit what the
photographer wanted. I also believe that after this the band were put into a different
position to take another photo.
3. The whole photo is in focus making all of the members stand out and all features are
easily identified.
The photo is printed in black and white and the lighting is clear as well as the shadow
which enhances facial features.
The photo has been cropped from the chest down leaving out the lower half of the
body of all band members, it has been cropped to a suitable shape to fit the
magazine.
4. The models are four white British males around the age of 40. By the way they are
dressed you can tell that they are very current and on trend but each member also
has a personal style.
The are looking directly to the audience which is inviting and makes the reader
want to listen to their music. The photo is taken straight forward making the
audience feel as if they are on the same level as them. The way they are standing
suggests that these men are confident and strong.
5. I believe that this photo was taken professionally in a
photoshoot and could be used for a magazine or in
some sort of promotion. It could be used as an advert
or a side picture as a part of an interview.
