This document outlines the curriculum for an Introduction to Philosophy of the Human Person course. It is divided into two quarters, each covering 4 units. The first quarter covers understanding philosophy, ways of doing philosophy, the human person as an embodied spirit, and the interplay between humans and their environment. Assessment includes recitations, quizzes, papers, and a debate. The second quarter covers human freedom and the consequences of choice, intersubjective relations, the interplay of individuality and social contexts, and humans' orientation towards death. Assessments are similar with a focus on reflections and an appreciation for others.
