Editor's Notes

  • #6 Name examples for each program
  • #7 - 75% of our programs are FREE Cost approximately $12 per student Typical exchange programs cost approximately $9K per student Sign up sheet!
  • #9 TIPPING POINT IN INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS - Evolution of physical exchanges known as virtual exchanges They will never take the place of physical exchanges like IREX, IIE, Fulbright, etc., but they can enhance them, and encourage students who have means to take part in physical exchanges as a result of virtual exchanges – this has happened twice for GNG – students from a school in Indiana visited their virtual peers in Jordan, and students from Ghana visited their peers at a high school in NJ But, these programs are transformative because they give access to a demographic of students who would otherwise never have the opportunity for cross-cultural collaborations/exchanges Exchange 2.0 has been gaining lots of traction and interest at the US DOS; summit at USIP in April GNG is honored to be part of the original coalition Exchange 2.0 - Virtual exchanges – iEARN, GNG, Soliya - Technology-enabled - Interactive and cross-cultural - Moderated/facilitated - Curriculum-based
