High voltage pulse technique or High intensity pulsed electric field processing involves the application of electric pulses of high voltage
20-80 kV/cm to the food placed between two electrodes.
The applied electric field create a pores on the cell membrane, thus the phenomenon known as Electroporation or electropermeabilization.
The effect of Electroporation can be divided into four steps:
An increase in the transmembrane potential
Pore formation
Evolution of the number and size of the pores
Pore resealing

Anther culture of pepper morphological charactersitics of fruits of androgene...researchagriculture
The presented study describes the effectiveness of induced androgenesis in in vitro pepper anther culture. The aim of this study was the establishment of effective technology for induction of embryogenesis in pepper anther culture; development of the embryos into plantlets; successful adaptation and acclimatization of plantlets from sterile to greenhouse conditions, and the breeding process of obtained androgenetic pepper lines in the plastic tunnel conditions. From 19 pepper genotypes under investigation, 12 possessed potential for embryo formation in anther culture. After the acclimatization and adaptation of plantlets, seed material from four pepper genotypes were collected: Piran, Kurtovska kapija SR, Zlaten medal SR and Féherözön. From the collected seed material, breeding processes of androgenetic pepper lines was set up in plastic tunnel (from April-October 2007-2010). The pepper genotypes and androgenetic lines as their products differ among themselves in the length of phonological phases, fruit type and fruit utilization. Detailed study for characterization of morphological and production parameters of the fruits was established that indicate to sort out lines with positive characteristics.

This file contains Spanish conjugation of ir. The verb ir at the top of the document is also a direct link to an interactive version of this listing (on www.howtoconjugatespanishverbs.com) with explanations of every spelling correction and irregularity. The interactive version is configurable as well - you may choose your own selection of tenses and grammatical persons (that's useful for example for people from Latin America, where the forms of 'vosotros/vosotras' are often not in use). Every listing includes the translation of the verb from Spanish to English. The website also offers Spanish games, practice activities, exercises and tests.

Automated Acceptance Testing (and tool choice)
Automated acceptance testing has many names: acceptance-test driven development (ATDD), story-test driven development (STDD), agile acceptance testing and, most recently, specification by example. At the heart of all these approaches is to produce business-facing tests which are system tests running end-to-end, picking up regression issues and improving confidence that the code works as required.
In this talk, I will contextualise how each of these approaches share in common a three-tier layering strategy: acceptance criteria, test implementation layer and application driver layer. This is important because applying this approach requires a tool choice and each tool tends to have its own sweet (and blind) spot that is best understood through these layers.
I will first deep dive into sample code across a few tools (Cucumber, Fitnesse, Concordion) to illustrate this layering. I use an example that shows how to decouple the GUI from tests (window driver pattern).
Finally, I will look at some typical client scenarios to examine which tools might best suited because tool choice is not simply a host operating system question (.Net, Java, Ruby).
Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

1. Pglo:<br />Green Fluorescent Protein is a gene that expresses for a green fluoresce in organisms. This lab started by cultivating the E. coli, on petri dishes so that they could later be put in the cultivation oven. These bacteria were inserted with buffers and genes so that they could later be expressed on dishes and electrophoresis. This was done with micropipettes. Afterwards, the resulting pool was use for the bacterial application. This process uses burners for protection, petri dishes and the circular applicators for the bacteria. Basically bacteria were taken from the tube with these applicators into the petri dishes and then put into the oven. <br />The next Friday we worked with these bacteria using an electrophoresis. We were supposed to transfer these bacteria that had been soaked in a buffer, into the electrophoresis; but we had technical difficulties. The micropipette tips were too big, and the electrophoresis gel was too thin. Basically we could not do much except load the gel with only White protein and not GFP. After this the gels were washed with comaissie blue and left to be tinted. <br />
