This study evaluated the effect of cement exposure on the pulmonary function of workers at a cement factory in Madora, Jhansi. 136 cement factory workers were selected for spirometry testing and their results were compared to 50 healthy control patients. The study found significant declines in the cement workers' FVC, PEFR, and FEF25%-75% compared to controls, indicating impaired pulmonary function. Smoking cement workers showed more impairment than non-smoking workers. The conclusion is that cement exposure negatively impacts workers' lung health, and measures should be taken by factories to prevent respiratory diseases.
