Pipeline Spills Research Paper
Global diminishing energy resources and climate change are a growing issue. Every year there
are more than 250 pipeline spills which contain hazardous liquid including tar sands. Tar sands
are the leading cause of Canada s global greenhouse emissions. TransCanada corp. is planning to
repurpose a 40 year old pipeline, called Energy East, that runs from Saskatchewan to Ontario and
attach a new pipeline that runs through Quebec to Saint John, New Brunswick. The problem with
this idea is that the original pipeline they plan to repurpose is made in a way that would not be

Low key lighting and odd camera angles are used in this part of the film while Harry searches
for the Sorcerer s stone and battles Voldemort. There is a slight horror aspect to the following
scenes as Harry deals with the antagonist of the film, Voldemort. Horror is a genre that aims to
create a sense of fear, panic, and dread for the audience. These films are often unsettling and rely
on scaring the audience through a portrayal of their worst fears and nightmares. As we grow to
love Harry and realize his biggest fear is the man who killed his parents and also him, and then are

Dreams. Everyone has Dreams. Something for someone to think about when they re in times of
trouble. The Academy Award winning film, Lala Land takes the aspect of dreams to a
completely different level. Whenever Damien Chazelle released the first trailer for the movie
over a year ago, I was automatically in love with the masterpiece that was about to bless all my

The music in those final twenty minutes are so powerful, that I remember bawling my eyes out
and clapping in the middle of the theatre. To this day, I still have Mia and Sebastian s Theme on my

On screen chemistry is incredibly important aspect to making a movie that includes two or more
people; and this movie absolutely nailed it. With a movie about a failing actress and jazz pianist
that fall in love in Las Angeles, the actors have to be both good and convincing. Emma Stone and
Ryan Gosling do an amazing job playing a couple who fall in love in a difficult part of their lives.
They re acting was so good; they both got nominated for an Academy Award; but sadly, only Emma

What really saddens me is how blind people can be to how beautiful a musical can be. From the
many reviews I ve read, many of them are written by people who just hate musicals in general.

Mr. Keating and Finny both embody individuality throughout the film and novel. Throughout the
film, Mr. Keating expresses his unique personality in several ways. Mr. Keating has an unusual
teaching style, unlike the strict and uniform style of the other teachers at Welton. It is much more
relaxed, and the students tend to enjoy class more. His style, much like his personality, are very

Made reminders calls I call client to remind them of their upcoming appointments. Some spoke
English and I had to use the language line communicate with those who didn t speak English.

Social media should not moderate the comments or points of views from society due to the fact that
everyone has the right to express what is on their mind. The U.S. created the First Amendment
which protects the freedom of expression in essence, giving society the ability to state their opinion
without fear of retribution. It is difficult to think of negative, hurtful, and spiteful comments being
protected by the freedom of speech. The information and posts on social media has such a great
influence over the population of the world, however it is important to remember that trolls as well
as their comments should be taken lightly yet respected because it is their own opinion.
Nonetheless people have become highly sensitive to trolls or any comments in which they might
not agree with. Additionally it seems that trolls have a strong hold in social media yet, who are
these trolls? Trolls make heinous comments on social media and are thrilled to keep anonymity as
their profile. People who are behind an electronic screen are not always the most transparent and
credible commentators. Many will argue that censorship is needed in social media as it could
prevent excessive negativity online. Although this may have a case, if people allowed censorship
of harsh and hateful believes what else will be censored in the future. Censorship in social media
has the potential to create a deceitful view of society.

humid, Thursday night. My group of friends are sitting in my basement, brainstorming on what to

the circle to scroll along his phone. We begin yelling at each other and getting furious with the
emptiness coming to our minds; then Don looks up and whispers, What about Hostage? We all
