The Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program (PESP) is an EPA partnership program established in 1994 to promote integrated pest management practices and reduce risks from both pesticides and pests. The American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) became a PESP partner in 1997 and developed criteria for state and regional mosquito control associations to become partners. The Georgia Mosquito Control Association (GMCA) joined PESP in 2009 and aims to collect data on mosquito control practices in Georgia to show improvements over time.
