Abstract:
The melting rate of each type of ice cube was different, depending on whether they had sugar in
them or not. One type of ice cube contained sugar, where the other one didn t, and as a result, the
lowering of the freezing point of the water seemed to be affected by the sugar.
Introduction:
I conducted this experiment to see whether sugar would cause the ice cube to melt faster. There
were two different types of ice cubes; just pure water, and water that contained sugar.
Liquid water contains molecules that are disordered and jumbled, but when it is frozen, the
molecules become ordered and regular. The sugar molecules don t fit into this, so when you
freeze the water, the water freezes first and the sugar stays behind in the liquid part as the ice
develops. Sugar makes the ice harder to form, therefore lowering the freezing point. By lowering
the freezing point, it keeps the ice from re freezing as easily, helping to melt the rest of the ice. ...
The only dependent variable is the time the ice cubes take to melt. The controlled variables are the

I interviewed Dr. Linda Vandaveer, a school psychologist with the Simi Valley Unified School

Rodham begrudgingly followed along with fierce independence and a law degree. Rodham

and practiced law through court appointments. Eventually her husband would successfully run and
become Arkansas s Attorney General, then Governor. As Hillary continued to practice law, her
focus would eventually shift to early childhood education and health. Rodham wasn t what
Arkansas envisioned for a first lady at the time. She was a working wife, who refused to take her
husbands last name, and didn t seem to fill the role as a traditional homemaker. Still, her husband
remained fairly popular after his rebounding election in 1982. In 1992 and 1996, Clinton easily
carried the state, although that was the last time a Democrat would take the six electoral votes
from Arkansas. Now in a matchup with New Yorker Donald Trump, it is highly unlikely Arkansas s
former first lady will come close to Trump in the Natural State. Racial distribution, religion,
education, a large rural population, and indications from previous elections, all point toward a
significant Clinton defeat on November eighth.

Validation of the Enterprise Ontology and Information SecurityCapability Driven Framework is
obtained from the creation of a business strategy to business capability value map and quantification
of key business and security metrics. A set of ontology based competency questions allows the
business to understand and make informed and prudent decisions regarding how and where security
should be applied to ensure a favourable outcome for the enterprise. Analysis of the results of this
study demonstrates the usefulness of the model in guiding the organization to assess current
security risks and make informed and business directed security decisions. The result is a
deployment strategy that balances the scarce resources of the enterprise whilst maintaining
strategic alignment. Further opportunities exist to improve the creation and quality of enterprise
ontology including development of a more rigorous and systematic approach to modelling the
enterprise s current state and future state scenarios using the business capability framework.
Semantically driven conceptual models of the enterprise may also be expressed within key security
technologies and systems that support the organization by forming a collection of ontology aware
technologies that respond and react collectively to attacks in a fail secure
