Marriage Is A Problem Based On Stereotypes And Unrealistic...
Marriages and Scripts
Marriage is a concept that few people really understand and most underestimate. With the last four
scripts it is clear that, marriage is a problem based on stereotypes and unrealistic expectations. While
reading the last plays, Dolls House,Who s Afraid of Virgina Woolf, Fences, and Disgraced there is one
clear correlation between them all, crumbling marriages. There is this foreign concept that people may
not even have to like their partner in the beginning, but later on in marriage they will soon love them.
This idea is false, however, as it is clear that during life two partners become dependent on each other,
and this coziness is conceived as love. Furthermore, they then get so used to marriage and each other

What I did find remarkable was Nora and her strength to leave her husband and children. Unlike the
other pieces Dolls House focuses more on children and the effect they have on a married couple.
Children are generally thought of as making marriage more valuable to the spouses, as they represent
a long term commitment (that can be seen also as a form of long term investment in the marriage
relationship) which may reinforce marriage stability. On the other hand, children may bring about
marital conflict by affecting dramatically the household allocation of time and money and contributing
a degree of uncertainty, as children s preferences and behavior are not known to parents ex ante.
(Bellido).
In this marriage, much like Troy and Rose in Fences, having children broke this marriage. It would
have been easier to stay for Nora if it was not a constant reminder that she would be the corruption in
her children, and the overwhelming fear that she would be the cause of their downfall. It is brought up
several times the conflict of leaving her children or staying and being a mother they do not deserve.
She is constantly thinking about this through the second half, but she does not worry about Torvald.
She even states that she does not love him and was only there because it was her duty as a woman to
marry a rich man, and have his children. That was the problem that the pieces face, no matter what
time period, forcing love only seems to be

Case 20 Randell Corp
Case 20: Rondell Data Corporation
John A. Seeger
Bentley College
Damn it, he s done it again!
Frank Forbus threw the stack of prints and specifications down on his desk in disgust. The Model 802
wide band modulator, released for production the previous Thursday, had just come back to Frank s
Engineering Services Department with a caustic note that began, This one can t be produced, either. . .
. It was the fourth time Production had kicked the design back.
Frank Forbus, director of engineering for Rondell Data Corp., was normally a quiet man. But the
Model 802 was stretching his patience; it was beginning to look just like other new products that had
hit delays and problems in the transition from design to production ... Show more content on

How does it look in Engineering, Frank?
I ve just reviewed the design for the second time, Frank replied. If Ron Porter can keep the salesmen
out of our hair, and avoid any more last minute changes, we ve got a shot. I ve pulled the draftsmen
off three other overdue jobs to get this one out. But, Dave, that means we can t spring engineers loose
to confer with your production people on manufacturing problems.
Well, Frank, most of those problems are caused by the engineers, and we need them to resolve the
difficulties. We ve all agreed that production bugs come from both of us bowing to sales pressure, and
putting equipment into production before the designs are really ready. That s just what we re trying to
avoid on the 802. But I can t have 500 people sitting on their hands waiting for an answer from your
people. We ll have to have some engineering support.
Bill Hunt broke in, So long as you two can talk calmly about the problem I m confident you can
resolve it. What a relief it is, Frank, to hear the way you re approaching this. With Kilmann (the
previous director of engineering) this conversation would have been a shouting match. Right, Dave?
Dave nodded and smiled.
Now there s one other thing you should both be aware of, Hunt continued. Doc Reeves and I talked
last night about a new filtering technique, one that might improve the signal to noise ratio of the 802
by a factor of two. There s a chance Doc can come up with it

Ghost In Hamlet Essay
No doubt that out of the play s total of twenty two scenes, the Ghost appears in just in four scenes and
times (as said earlier in I.1, I.4, I.5, III.4), and in two of them (I.1 and I.4) it does not even speak a
single word. Of the play s thousands of lines, the Ghost speaks just some ninety lines, which does not
seem like much for such a key figure until we realise how this some lines influence almost all the
twenty two scenes. In fact, the words spoken by the ghost of the late king of Denmark carry the
heaviest significance both in the development of the plot and in the development of the characters. In
other words it can easily be said that we cannot imagine the play as well as its major characters
without being directly or indirectly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Without the ghost s initial revelation of truth to Hamlet, there would be no occasion for revenge; in
other words no tragedy of Hamlet . As we know that one of the major themes of Hamlet is revenge.
The motive force of this revenge theme is provided by the ghost when it says:
Let not the royal bed of Denmark be/ A couch for luxury and damnèd incest. (82 83)
In our third and final point that the appearance of the supernatural ghost shows up the character and
drives home a certain moral effect. Here is a transparent clear reality of the universe that the activity
like murder must be disclosed even if it done in a very cleverer and in the most secret way. As Hamlet
says about the murder of his father, For murder, though it have no tongue, will speak / With most
miraculous organ. (II.2).
Actually, the play shows that we cannot conceal the truth for a long time. The ghost, we feel, is a
representative of that hidden and ultimate power rules in the universe, it is a messenger of the divine
justice. As Hamlet says further in the earlier, Foul deeds will rise / Though all earth o er whelm them,
to men s eye . (I. 2 ) indicating that bad deeds will be revealed, no matter how people try to hide

Analysis of Charles Murray’s “What’s Wrong with Vocational...

ENGL 1020 116
15 September 2014
Analysis of Charles Murray s What s Wrong With Vocational School? Charles Murray is writing to
The Wall Street Journal, which is a huge and very diverse audience to whom to present such a
controversial argument. The point Murray is trying to make is that vocational schools are more
effective and logical courses of action for young people entering the job market than is the
conventional 4 year university track. In championing the cause of vocational schools over college,
Murray uses logos, appeals to authority, though his tone makes him come across as a little
condescending. This may almost damage his argument overall. Murray s argument is persuasive
through his use of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He challenges widespread expectation of all middle class Americans: vocational training is second
class. College is first class (Murray 632). This passage, while appearing to offer a simple definition to
the reader in order for him or her to be informed of the subject matter argued herein, already states his
position in the matter. Murray, possibly on purpose, taints his definition with diction illustrating his
bias. This could possibly damage his argument, because though he cites different perspectives, the
trouble with expectation, and a solution for these people, making him look like a hero in a way, he
also shows himself to be almost prejudiced in the argument. Conversely, later championing the
underdog, as he paints those with lower IQs, could potentially make up for his somewhat brazen
attitude for some members of his large, and no doubt very disparate, audience. His argument does use
pathos a little; citing the lower IQs, and that the people who own them may struggle trying to bend to
American culture s demand for a Bachelor s Degree, tends to tug on the emotions of the reader,
probably intentionally. This helps Murray a lot, for throughout the argument he has seemed very sure
of his argument, and as earlier mentioned, often disdainful and lofty regarding the subject matter.
Though an elitist, Murray is intelligent in his

Lance Armstrong
Shunning in the United States today seems like a usual to people today. It usually is done to the
popular or famous groups but sometimes is done to ordinary people who have done something
extremely bad. Some reasons why to shun people would be if a person commits a murder and got
away with it or some cheats in a popular sport by taking athletic enhancing drugs. Most shunning
tends to go away after a long time or after another person commits a worse crime. The Tour de France
is just one of the main races in the world that has been cheated on by the use of illegal drugs. One of
the main competitors in these races is Lance Armstrong. He is also one of the main drug users in these
races as well. He won the Tour de France seven consecutive times in a row. Some of the other riders
and bystanders that watched these races questioned Lance Armstrongs ability to win these races.
Everyone knew he was good but not that good. Finally it came out that Lance Armstrong had been
using EPO throughout his career. He finally admitted to using this drug on the Oprah Winfrey show
and it went viral. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The surprising thing about taking those trophies was that they were never distributed to any of his
rival competitors. One of the reasons bikers believe they weren t distributed was because the list could
probably go on forever of drug users in the Tour de France. The problem was that the only way for
young riders to compete with the older, more experienced riders was to take athletic enhancing drugs.
The whole sport was ruined by this drug and there was no way to get it

Masculinity And Its Effect On Male Giraffes
Giraffes have an extremely unique and specific set of courtship behaviours. Giraffes are polygynous
and no long term bond is formed between the male and female giraffes before or after mating occurs.
In fact little is known about what precise factors influences on males mating success rate, how the
female makes a mate choice, the number of males that will copulate with a single female, or offspring
paternity. Giraffe courtship begins with the behaviour known as the flehmen sequence or the urine
test. Giraffe Bachelor Herds congregate near female herds during the wet season to share the lush
abundance of new vegetation but they also begin to seek out female to mate. Solitary male giraffes
will begin to check herds for ovulating females by

The Effects Of Aerobic Exercise On Pregnancy
Effects of Aerobic Exercise on Pregnancy Aerobic exercise is another fantastic type of physical
activity for pregnant women. It is a great alternative for mothers who are apprehensive about
resistance training. Aerobic exercise guidelines for mostly sedentary pregnant women state that they
should perform at about 60% 70% of their heart rate maximum, and guidelines for active pregnant
women suggest they perform at about 60% 90% of their heart rate maximum (11). The United States
guidelines supports exercise throughout the full nine months of pregnancy as a positive decision for
expecting mothers (2).
Just a handful of gains made while aerobically exercising during pregnancy include maintaining
weight, less complications with delivery, a shorter labor, a decrease in stress, less back pain, a
decrease in arterial stiffness, improved posture, increased self confidence, improved insulin sensitivity
and glycogen storing, better sleep, a decreased risk of preeclampsia, decreased pelvic girdle pain, and
an increased quality of life (6, 9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 19, 23). It is also important to acknowledge that
mothers who exercised 3 months before they became pregnant experienced even more advantages
with a significant decrease in pregnancy discomforts (9). In two separate studies made up of 43 and 37
pregnant women, mothers participated in a moderate aerobic exercise program. In the first study
mothers were trained with general exercise machines, and in the second mothers performed

Feral Pigs Essay
Feral pigs are difficult to control for a number of reasons:
they are intelligent, adaptable and secretive. As they are nocturnal, they camp through the day in thick,
inaccessible vegetation wherever possible their reproduction potential is such that repeated control
programs must be conducted before any sustained population reduction is achieved their omnivorous
feeding habits give pigs a wide range of available food sources, making successful pre feeding
difficult their home ranges are large (2 50 km2) so control programs must be conducted over a large
area (often including several properties) to be effective.
Developing a pig control strategy
The strategic management of feral pigs is aimed at minimising the damage they cause to primary
production and conservation areas, not merely to kill pigs.
Strategic management involves four key components:
definition of the problem. First you need to define the true impact of feral pigs on the valued resource.
This sets a justifiable cost of control management plan. Next it is important to determine the best
combination of control methods for your control program. Often the most effective approach is to
coordinate on a local and regional level implementation. Actions often involve the cooperation with
neighbouring land managers, both private and public monitoring and evaluation. Monitoring
determines the cost effectiveness of each control method and the overall efficiency of the strategy.
Evaluation determines if and how

Border Wall Research Papers
12 billion dollars, that is certainly a lot of money (McFadyen)! On average, that is how much the
United States loses each year from border security. In order to stop illegal immigrants and drug
smugglers from entering the U.S. from Mexico through the border, a wall must be built.
In previous years, many countries and territories around the world have attempted to build walls, and
many have had very much success. For example, Most of the walls built after World War 2 and the
Cold War still exist today. There were a total of 110 walls built between that time period. Professor
Nazli Avdan led a study that had a goal of identifying if a border wall reduced or increased the risk of
a transnational terrorist attack. This study found that since the year 1900, transnational terrorist attacks
have seen a thirteen percent annual decrease in countries with border walls (Border fences
reduce...attacks). This has been a real focal point that President Donald Trump has used to get people
to agree with him. Another reason of his includes the disrupting of the funneling of illicit money and
drugs into the United States of America (Border fences reduce...attacks). The bonus of the building of
the wall is that it will be a visible sign of the government taking action. Decreasing illegal
immigration was Donald Trump s main plan for the wall. Research has shown that only about 9,000 of
the average hundreds of thousands of people that attempt to illegally immigrate across the border each

Feminist Student Culture And The Issues Of Postsecondary...
The purpose of this literature review is to synthesize and discuss feminist student culture and the
issues in postsecondary education. First, the paper reviews the various definitions and movements
surrounding feminism. In addition, the paper analyzes the perspectives of women and men and
whether they support or are against feminist student culture. Lastly, the paper discusses
recommendations and future research for student affairs professions to maintain feminist student
culture in higher education.
Understanding feminism
Feminism in the United States is often separated into three waves (Vaccaro, 2009, Vernet Butera,
2005). The first wave began during the late 1800s to early 20th century, women began fighting for
gender equality, emancipation, and economic rights, which lasted through the woman suffrage
movement (Breen Karpinski, 2008; Vaccaro, 2009; Vernet Butera, 2005). Dissatisfied with women s
status, women fought for social, economical, and political equality by ratifying the 19th Amendment.
However, anti feminists viewed gender equality as a minor issue and compared women to uncivilized
populations (Vernet Butera, 2005). After ratifying the 19th Amendment, the second wave peeked
during 1960s to 1970 s social movement. Women wanted control of their bodies, freely chosen
maternity, end domestic violence, and equality in a male society (Vernet Butera, 2005). The gap
between the first and second wave was separated by a long hiatus period but inspired campus

Working Principle Of The Hybrid Adc System
Working principle of the hybrid ADC system
AD cycle consists of four processes as shown in Fig. 4. These processes are: Isosteric heating process
(1 2): adsorption pair is heated without changing initial adsorbate concentration (C_i ). Isobaric
desorption process (2 3): adsorption pair is heated up with changing adsorbate concentration from C_i
to final concentration (C_f ). On the other side, the desorbed water vapor is condensed in condenser
releasing heat of condensation at condenser temperature〖 (T〗_cond). Isosteric cooling process (3
4): adsorbent material is cooled down without changing adsorbate concentration at〖 C〗_f. Isobaric
adsorption process (4 1): the adsorbent adsorbs vapor at evaporator pressure P_evap. In this process,
the adsorbate concentration is increased from C_f to C_i and releasing heat of adsorption. The
adsorbate is evaporated and producing a cooling effect in the evaporator.
The procedure used in conducting the experiments is;

Internet Service Providers Essay
We think we can do whatever we want to on the Internet, but can we really? In this day and age,
people log on and surf the web without a second thought, and often take the freedoms of the Internet
for granted. One of the most valuable things about the Internet is that it s open and equal. Anyone can
access or create new websites, and as of now, each website is treated the same. Unfortunately, this
freedom is being threatened and the Internet as we know it could change for good.
Net Neutrality is the idea that Internet providers should treat all websites and Internet services the
same. Major internet providers are now making the argument that they should be allowed to charge
their customers more money, depending on what the customer uses ... Show more content on

This new policy would introduce hurt more then it would help. Institutions like public libraries,
schools and other places that offer Wi Fi for use would have to pay tremendous costs. Schools, for
example, are having a hard enough time obtaining the funding for materials like school supplies or for
qualified teachers, and to add the cost of individual websites that students need access to is unfair and
in some schools, impossible.
This proposal would also allow ISP s to block certain websites all together. For example, Verizon
could block Google completely, forcing their customers to pay for the Verizon search engine. Not only
would it add extra costs to your internet bill, but it would also create a tiered internet. This means that
not only would customers have to pay for certain websites, but those same costly sites would have to
pay the ISPs as well. A tiered internet means that a few websites would get high speed priority and be
favored over other sites. To be placed in these high speed tiers, the websites would have to pay huge
amounts of money to the ISPs. Why should the Internet Service Providers have full, unrestricted
access to control everything that goes on online?
A tiered Internet would effect everyone, and not always in a good way. If you are an avid Netflix user,
and are constantly watching shows, then the fact that their Internet service speed was lightning fast
would be enjoyable. But if you had to go on a smaller site that was less widely

Zadie Smith s Two Men Arrive In A Village
Two Men Arrive in a Village (2016) written by Zadie Smith, is a short story following events that take
place in a West African Village, narrated by a woman belonging to that village. The story is a parable,
which is a symbolic story told with the purpose of teaching a spiritual lesson to its reader. Two Men
Arrive in a Village tells the ever repeating account of two men arriving in a village, striking fear into
its people, killing, raping and stealing from the villagers who inhabit it. Smith constructed the
narrative in such a way that it traces a story that occurs in various locations at once, parallel to a
specific situation, all taking place at the same time. By doing this Smith weaves a specific story and a
broad story together. While following the events in the African village, Smith s story also
encompasses a prevalent point, that men can feasibly appear at any location at any time bringing
destruction with them. The story begins with two seemingly friendly men arriving in a village. As the
story unfolds the men become less friendly and more detrimental, in the process of plowing through
the village unleashing bloody chaos . Even though the particular experience is not the story that
repeats itself, Smith s parable embodies the universal theme of power and violence all around the
world. The men reveal their true motives as soon as they walk around the village and begin to steal
possessions, all the while denying their true actions as stealing . Despite the villagers hospitality these
visits always follow a pattern. After meals are finished and drinks are sucked down Theft is their first
and least serious offense. They start by walking around the village casually taking items as trivial as a
cigarette, followed by a sly deceitful thank you . They will soon progress from pocket picking to
looting homes taking whatever they please, without running into confrontation from the villagers. The
men will always steal from the villages, ransacking pockets or houses taking anything from watches to
women. The thefts come easily to the men because no one will ever dare to stop them. The men
continue on to prove their dangerous intent by slaughtering the people of the village, causing the once

Old Spice Rhetorical Analysis
Old Spice s Changes in Rhetoric Use Throughout the Ages The company of Old Spice is most
commonly known for selling body wash and other men s products. The Old Spice brand was started
by the Shulton Company in 1937 and it s original target audience was women, but later changed it to
men s goods as the sales were larger there. The company continues to sell men s products to this day.
The company started advertising to sailors and hard working men at the start of it s creation. However
the company has continued to change its marketing techniques throughout the years. The company
used a lot of ethos in advertisements during the 1950 s. The advertisements of the 1950 s depicted that

Some ads also use similes, metaphors, personification, and onomatopoeia. The new ads show how
men should use Old Spice by making crazy commercials while showing strong famous men. They
also try to get women to buy Old Spice for their man by showing a hot man using the product and
what their man could be like if he used Old Spice. Both these techniques like showing men doing
crazy things like some men do and target the emotion in ladies to try and get their men more like the
guy in the commercial have shown to increase sales. The most famous old Spice ad was the, The Man
Your Man Could Smell Like and this ad showcased the stunning Isaiah Mustafa or commonly known
as the Old Spice Man. In the commercial he is shown on a boat with diamonds or on a horse on an
island. The actor states that if her man wore Old Spice he would be just like him, which was a form of
logos. The pathos used against men is that men do crazy things and wearing Old Spice is for men who
do crazy things. The pathos against women is that women want a civilized hot romantic man and the
ads show that if they buy Old Spice for their man, he will be just that. The ethos was the company
using hot and famous models to portray what their products does.
The Old Spice company has used different rhetorical approaches throughout the years to influence
people to buy their products. In the 1950 s they stated it made you feel better, 1970 s said it made you

Literature Review On Flywheel
Chapter 2
Literature review
2.1 Flywheel According to Christopher S. Putnam, a flywheel is merely a wheel fixed on an axle
which stores and regulates energy by spinning continuously. Flywheel storage systems are composed
of five main mechanisms: flywheel, bearing, electrical machine, power converter and containment
chamber. Christopher further stated that the device is one of humanity s oldest and the true potential of
the flywheel still has to be well sized till today that s why there is ongoing research on flywheel
storage systems. When a flywheel is spun up to very high speeds, it becomes a reservoir for a massive
amount of rotational energy, which can be drawn back or stored at will. In fact it becomes an

Material advancement have seen the FESS transform from low speed (6000 rpm) to much higher
speeds (10 000 to 110 000 rpm) and safer systems (Pena Alzola, Sebastian, Quesada, Colmenar, 2011).
This speed increase adventures the quadratic improvements resulting from higher speeds somewhat
than those from higher mass. most of the flywheel capacity is stored in the higher velocity rotation At
these speeds, so flywheel speeds are hardly brought down below 50% of their maximum (Ragheb,
2013). A shift to lower density and higher tensile strength material is trending due to the gains
associated with high speeds. This materials include: aluminum alloys and graphite/carbon/glass fiber
composites with added polymer (epoxy) resin support matrices (Ragheb, 2013). System self discharge
rates are steadily being reduced by improvements in bearing. Bearings usually take this combination:
fluid, mechanical, electromagnetic, Ferro fluid, 8 181 superconducting, Energies 2015 and
diamagnetic. Better mechanical lower speed (20,000 to 40,000 rpm) bearings are being manufactured
due to an advancement in materials (Liu, Jiang,

narrated by the underground man like a soliloquy, in his point of view. Like being in a dark

He often thinks about the society where he and others are, but now he withdrew in his world.
The second part, Apropos of the Wet Snow is the underground man s young age memories, when he
used to have real communications with others, like his old classmates, his employee, and a whore,

Literary Devices In Tanerine
A tangerine is not only a citrus fruit, but also a county in Florida that is home to Paul Fisher and his

only bullied at school, but also at home by his brother, while having to live in the house where his dad

Air Driven Engine Project Report
CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
At first glance the idea of running an engine on air seems to be too good to be true. Actually, if we can
make use of air as an aid for running an engine it is a fantastic idea. As we all know, air is all around
us, it never runs out, it is non polluting and it is free.
An Air Driven Engine makes use of Compressed Air Technology for its operation. Compressed Air
Technology is now widely preferred for research by different industries for developing different drives
for different purposes. The Compressed Air Technology is quite simple. If we compress normal air
into a cylinder the air would hold some energy within it. This energy can be utilized for useful
purposes. When this compressed air expands, the energy is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Fig. 2.1 working of two stroke engine
There are no traditional valves in a two stroke engine. In a two stroke the engines fires once every
revolution. This makes the engine highly efficient and lightweight compared to four stroke systems.
Rather than entering through valves, the fuel/air mixture enters through an intake port and exhaust
exits out of an exhaust port. In place of traditional valves the two stroke engine uses the piston s
position to force out exhaust or suck in fuel mixture.
Reeds are vital to a two stroke system. The reeds are placed between the intake manifold and the
carburetor, open and close to allow the fuel / air mixture to enter the case of the engine and trap it, and
ensure the proper exchange of gasses in the engine. This procedure might sound complex, but it is, in
fact, extremely effective and easy to understand.
The whole cycle can be explained as follows:
1) As the piston moves from bottom dead center to top dead center it creates a vaccum to draw the fuel
/ air mixture through the carburetor and past the reed valve assembly.
2) The piston moves down from top dead center to bottom dead center. The reed closes, causing the
pressure to build in the cylinder. The movement of the piston uncovers the intake port and pressurized
the fuel / air mixture.
3) The piston now moves up from bottom dead center to top dead center, effectively ending a cycle
and starting another. The spark plug

Plastic Bottles Outnumber Fish In The Ocean
By the year 2050 plastic bottles will outnumber fish in the ocean. Last year a study by the National

ocean. Many people believe that throwing away plastic would have negligible impact on humans and
animals, this is untrue. Thousands of birds, turtle, seals, fish, and other marine animals die every after

What Is The Theme Of Touching The Void
Touching the void by Joe Simpson is a vivid, intense and powerful story of a horrifying adventure in
the Peruvian Andes. Two experienced climbers, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, set out to conquer the
mountain Siula Grande. They do indeed achieve their aim, but disaster strikes on the way down and
Simon has to make an impossible decision should he cut the rope holding Joe, thereby saving his own
life, or should he stay attached, leading to certain death for both of them? They face an almost
impossible journey, where their survival instinct and absolute courage, triumph the human spirit over
the power of mother nature s battle. Alpine Style climbing can be very dangerous and is also the style
Joe and Simon used. This means carrying all of one s food, shelter, equipment, etc. climbing up the
mountain. The novel as a whole demonstrates survival, because it s all about a man who had the
extraordinary ability of human nature to survive, physically and mentally. When Joe was in the
crevasse, he was trying to find a way out but he couldn t. He stated, There was no going back now, yet
inside I was screaming to stop. This shows that even if he didn t want to, Joe would do anything he
possibly can to survive. Also, the word screaming astonishing, strong word and really shows what a

The Impact Of Immigrant Integration In The Loca Migration
We are living in an era of diversity. The globalization has been making it easier for people to move not
just across the border but rather across the world, resulting in many ongoing issues about social
cohesion and immigrant integration in the urban neighborhoods. Immigrant integration as suggested
by the IOM is a two way process, which includes both the immigrant and the host society. Many
literatures have pointed out that immigrant integration must be foster in local neighborhood instead of
the broader nationwide policy. Thailand is also experiencing this phenomenon, especially the big cities
such as Bangkok, Pattaya and Chiang Mai. However, the past evidences suggest that Thai people have
a very limited understanding about the notion of diversity, and many of them still have the bad
prejudice in regard to migrant workers. To make it worst, immigrant integration has never been
included in (already lacking behind) Thai urban planning arena. Therewithal, the main goal of this
research is to successfully integrate the diverse neighborhood design principle in the ... Show more

Creating A Legal Taxonomy Of Privacy
Differentiating Meanings of Privacy Invasion of privacy did not exist as a separate tort prior to the
20th century. In 1960, William Prosser described how privacy came to be established in tort law and
how many distinct torts fit within it, including torts for intrusion, public disclosure of private facts,
and placing a person in a false light. Daniel Solove builds off of Prosser s work, constructing a legal
taxonomy of privacy focused on information collection, information processing, information
dissemination, and intrusion. As this thesis aims to gain insight into how privacy has evolved
conceptually within the American court system, and particularly the Supreme Court, I aim to identify

This ruling stands in stark contrast to the Court s decision in 1914 in Weeks v. United States, which is
largely considered a landmark case as the Court s unanimous decision resulted in the establishment of
the exclusionary rule prohibiting the submission of evidence to court which was obtained illegally (i.e.
in violation of the Fourth Amendment by being unreasonably seized without a warrant). In his dissent
in Olmstead, Brandeis made an eloquent argument that the Fourth Amendment remains applicable in
the case, as individuals should have a reasonable expectation of privacy in their conversations (which,
in this instance, had been wiretapped by law enforcement officials targeting bootleggers violating the
National Prohibition Act). Brandeis wrote: The makers of our Constitution undertook to secure
conditions favorable to the pursuit of happiness. They recognized the significance of man s spiritual
nature, of his feelings and of his intellect. They knew that only a part of the pain, pleasure, and
satisfactions of life are to be found in material things. They sought to protect Americans in their
beliefs, their thoughts, their emotions and their sensations. They conferred, as against the government,
the right to be let alone the most comprehensive of rights and the right most valued by civilized men.

Robert Frost s Out, Out
Out, Out is a poem written by the late Robert Frost. It depicts the harsh death of a young farm boy due
to an accident caused by a saw. The title of the poem derives from a speech in the famous Shakespeare
play, Macbeth, and it signifies the ephemeral nature of life. The writer depicts this behind a scenic,
Vermont countryside, offsetting the horror that this accident caused. The author also uses many other
ways to evoke a sense of horror in this poem.
For example, the poem uses many literary devices (such as personification, alliteration etc.),
techniques and phrases to emit horror throughout the poem. One such case is in the first line, as the
writer uses both personification and onomatopoeias such as snarled and rattled (which repeats ... Show

He does this by using emotive language and words to accurately describe the effects of the buzzsaw
for example, he uses words like snarled and rattled which use personification (the snarl of a dog) as
well as onomatopoeias to successfully convey the frightfulness of the saw throughout the poem.
Furthermore, the writer succeeds in creating a sense of horror through the buzzsaw by making the
accident seem very unexpected, as the quote As it ran light, or had to bear a load.
And nothing happened shows just how unprecedented the accident was, and it describes the fact that
the buzzsaw never did anything of the manner. This in turn further adds to the overall shock value of
the poem, and makes for a devastatingly horrific description of the buzzsaw and the accident.
Overall, the writer succeeds in creating a sense of horror through the poem by using many different
and useful techniques. He uses descriptive words, phrases and techniques such as caesura, iambic
pentameter and more, gradually reveals the gravity of the accident through changing the tone, and
presents the buzzsaw in a scary manner by using emotive language and dramatic phrases. All of this
makes the poem ever more frightful and horrific. All in all, Robert Frost has succeeded in not only
making the poem more horrific, but giving it more life

Themes of Blackberry Picking by Seamus Heaney Essay
Blackberry picking by Seamus Heaney is about time, gluttony, limitations of life, and to some extent,
the struggles of life. Heaney writes retrospectively about his life, with hindsight, about how he as a
child, would go blackberry picking during a particular time of year.
Throughout the poem and particularly in the first stanza, Heaney uses a wide range of literary devices
such as intense imagery or sensory imagery, exceptionally meaningful metaphors and alliteration.
Alliteration is used quite often in the poem. Throughout the whole poem, there is a frequent repetition
of b words, such as big dark blobs burned . In the readers mind, this creates a more powerful image of

They set out with milk cans, pea tins, and jam pots . He was thrilled to pick the blackberries, and
eventually get drunk on them. He was not worried about the dangers, briars scratched and wet grass
bleached our boots . His childish desires pressured him to forget all risks, and do what he craves for all
year long.
During and after filling up their cans, it is clear that the pace of the poem become is not fast, but is not
slow either, rather it is in the middle. This is evident as they trekked and picked until the cans were
full, . Trekked suggests that they wandered around the round hayfields, cornfields and potato drills
until they filled up their cans.
Heaney then says Our hands were peppered, with thorn pricks, our palms sticky as Bluebeard s . He
uses another simile by comparing their palms to that of Bluebeards, a well known murderer in some
well known fairy tales. He used to murder his wives with his own hands, as a result, his hands would
ve been covered by blood. Therefore, after picking so many berries, their hands would be sticky from
blackberries rather than blood.
After picking the berries, there hopes were really high hoarded , meaning to store with excitement,
they had their hopes up, but suddenly, after they filled the bath with blackberries, they found their
treasure to be infested with rat gray fungus , which put their hopes back down again.

How Did Christian Teachings Affect The Creation Of Human...
To what extend did Christian teachings affect the creation of human rights
Human rights are basic to humanity. They are supposed apply to all people everywhere. Though in our
modern society, we acknowledge the importance of human rights, it took a long time for mankind to
set down the human rights that we all deserve and to reach to where we are now. In this essay, the
focus will be on how much Christian teachings and traditions influenced the creation of human rights.
It s possible to see the influence based on different written laws made toward creation of equal rights.
Such as, the US s Declaration of Independence , the French Declaration of the Rights of Man or the
UN s Declaration of the Human Rights. Christianity s biblical notions support many of the articles

God expects us to treat each other humanely. Ten Commandments also forbids murder, stealing,

examples would be to treat immigrants well (Exodus 22:21; Leviticus 19:33 34), help the poor with

The Logic Of English Land Law
As it has been a substantial part of the Land Registration Act 2002, I would like to look into the
process of electronic conveyancing and how it supports my argument that the logic of English land
law had been changed through the Act to a more rational, market efficient way. The Land Register was
empowered to set up a Land Registry Network , this network could go beyond the legal aspect of the
transaction and could cover the whole transaction from the point when a property is put on sale . The
formalities of electronic dispositions were also introduced in the Act. The electronic document now
had to stipulate its effective time and date, as well as to include electronic signatures of all the parties
by whom it purports to be authenticated plus every electronic signature has to be certified. If an
electric document complied with these formalities, it was to be regarded by law as a written deed,
signed by each individual and sealed by each corporation . Another important concept development
was network access agreement where the lawyers would be allowed to make changes to the title or the
cautions register without involving the land registry officers. There were rules imposed on regulation
of the network and in order to enter into a network access agreement an applicant had to fulfill criteria.
The Act has also set out that whenever there was a conflict, the overriding nature of the obligation
owed under the network access agreement, such obligation would

Before me sat a young couple. It was not our first meeting. They came often for counsel. We just are

She was very attractive. He was a tall strong good looking man. Both possessed good jobs, drove nice

I asked, What do you really want? They replied, Ah, well, guess we really don t know. What does we

Reflection On Solidarity Versus Charity
After having been in your domestic/ national/international field placement, what is your perspective
on solidarity versus charity? Provide examples from your experience. When I think of solidarity and
charity, they both appear very similar and there is no black and white answer. However, when I think
of charity, I always think of giving to those who have less than you. It is this idea that you may have
authority or higher power over someone less fortunate. When volunteering for a charity, there is this
idea that anything a volunteer does will be helpful. An example of charity to me, would be donating
cloths to a shelter. From experience, interning at a shelter, people would always donate clothes. As this
was necessary and helpful, at one point we were unable to accept any more clothing donations because
we had too much. I think when people donate clothes, they automatically think they are contributing
to the charity, following the idea that by doing that they helped the agency out.
Solidarity on the other hand is a more personal approach to helping others. To me solidarity is when
an individual truly works with others to identify what it is that they need or want, not just assuming
that whichever service they provide will be helpful. I believe that solidarity takes more of an equality
and empowering approach, which leads to working more collaboratively with individuals. I think an
example of solidarity for me, would be my last year s internship at the domestic violence

into a mellow confidence as you decide to turn the assignment in blank. The teacher doesn t buy your
story of how it was not posted in a good location and hands it back to you with a zero. It is rare that
these situations ever work out. Blind hope can only lead to unforeseen consequences.
Blind hope can cause one to ignore risks and look only to what good could come out of it. The
rewards always seem to outweigh the risks. A good example of this is seen in people who like to
gamble. They would believe that the next spin will be the one ; it has to be. The problem is, the
chances of that are almost none, and they loose money each time they go just one more time. There
are also numerous fictional stories that illustrate this, one being Contents of a Dead Man s Pockets. In
this story, the man sees his paper and feels that he could reach it if he just went out to get it. Thinking
about the benefits, He imagined himself describing it; it would make a good story at the office and, it
occurred to him, would add a special interest and importance to his memorandum, which would do it
no harm at all (Finney 4). This is all fine and dandy if the paper wasn t outside his high

The Importance Of Setting In The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow
Could anybody ask for a better name then Sleepy Hollow for this town. All the people of the town are
sleepy and inactive. There is also a hollow along the Hudson River which is right up close to the town.
In this short story of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Irving captures the setting well through
description, how it affects the characters, and the way it fits with gothic attributes of this time. In the
first couple paragraphs it shows how much Irving wants us to get the creepy and scared feeling. Not
far from this village, perhaps about two miles, there is a little valley or rather lap of land among high
hills, which is one of the quietest places in the world (1). This is saying that even around the village it
is quiet and still. There is emptiness surrounding the village, lurking and waiting for somebody to pass
by. This short story has the characters behaviors reflecting the way the setting is described. In this by
place of nature there abode, in a remote period of American history, that is to say, some thirty years
since, a worthy weight of the name of Ichabod Crane, who sojourned, or, as he expressed it, tarried, in

There was the honest cock robin, the favorite game of the stripling sportsmen, with its loud querulous
note; and the twittering blackbirds flying in the sable clouds; and the golden winged woodpecker with
his crimson crest, his broad black gorget, and splendid plumage; and the cedar bird, with its red tipt
wings and yellow tipt tail and its little monteiro cap of feathers; and the blue jay, that noisy coxcomb,
in his gay light blue coat and white underclothes, screaming and chattering, nodding and bobbing and
bowing, and pretending to be on good terms with every songster of the grove (11). The very vivid
descriptions of the birds, people, and nature gave a more creeped out feeling than

Malcolm X s Struggle
Malcolm X, originally known as Malcolm Little, was born on May 19th 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Malcolm s father, Earl Little, instilled the significance of independence and the idea of black pride
because of his membership in the Universal Negro Improvement Association and support towards the
black nationalist Marcus Garvey. Malcolm X was then sent into foster care at an early age due to his
father s passing and mother s enrollment in a mental hospital in 1937. Malcolm s family often moved
place to place (Omaha, Nebraska to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Lansing, Michigan) because of the
frequent encounters and death threats with and from white supremacists. He began to participate in a
life of criminality that soon sent him to prison for eight to ten

This idea is false, however, as it is clear that during life two partners become dependent on each other, and this coziness is conceived as love. Furthermore, they then get so used to marriage and each other that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... What I did find remarkable was Nora and her strength to leave her husband and children. Unlike the other pieces Dolls House focuses more on children and the effect they have on a married couple. Children are generally thought of as making marriage more valuable to the spouses, as they represent a long term commitment (that can be seen also as a form of long term investment in the marriage relationship) which may reinforce marriage stability. On the other hand, children may bring about marital conflict by affecting dramatically the household allocation of time and money and contributing a degree of uncertainty, as children s preferences and behavior are not known to parents ex ante. (Bellido). In this marriage, much like Troy and Rose in Fences, having children broke this marriage. It would have been easier to stay for Nora if it was not a constant reminder that she would be the corruption in her children, and the overwhelming fear that she would be the cause of their downfall. It is brought up several times the conflict of leaving her children or staying and being a mother they do not deserve. She is constantly thinking about this through the second half, but she does not worry about Torvald. She even states that she does not love him and was only there because it was her duty as a woman to marry a rich man, and have his children. That was the problem that the pieces face, no matter what time period, forcing love only seems to be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It was the fourth time Production had kicked the design back. Frank Forbus, director of engineering for Rondell Data Corp., was normally a quiet man. But the Model 802 was stretching his patience; it was beginning to look just like other new products that had hit delays and problems in the transition from design to production ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... How does it look in Engineering, Frank? I ve just reviewed the design for the second time, Frank replied. If Ron Porter can keep the salesmen out of our hair, and avoid any more last minute changes, we ve got a shot. I ve pulled the draftsmen off three other overdue jobs to get this one out. But, Dave, that means we can t spring engineers loose to confer with your production people on manufacturing problems. Well, Frank, most of those problems are caused by the engineers, and we need them to resolve the difficulties. We ve all agreed that production bugs come from both of us bowing to sales pressure, and putting equipment into production before the designs are really ready. That s just what we re trying to avoid on the 802. But I can t have 500 people sitting on their hands waiting for an answer from your people. We ll have to have some engineering support. Bill Hunt broke in, So long as you two can talk calmly about the problem I m confident you can resolve it. What a relief it is, Frank, to hear the way you re approaching this. With Kilmann (the previous director of engineering) this conversation would have been a shouting match. Right, Dave? Dave nodded and smiled. Now there s one other thing you should both be aware of, Hunt continued. Doc Reeves and I talked last night about a new filtering technique, one that might improve the signal to noise ratio of the 802 by a factor of two. There s a chance Doc can come up with it ... Ghost In Hamlet Essay No doubt that out of the play s total of twenty two scenes, the Ghost appears in just in four scenes and times (as said earlier in I.1, I.4, I.5, III.4), and in two of them (I.1 and I.4) it does not even speak a single word. Of the play s thousands of lines, the Ghost speaks just some ninety lines, which does not seem like much for such a key figure until we realise how this some lines influence almost all the twenty two scenes. In fact, the words spoken by the ghost of the late king of Denmark carry the heaviest significance both in the development of the plot and in the development of the characters. Without the ghost s initial revelation of truth to Hamlet, there would be no occasion for revenge; in other words no tragedy of Hamlet . As we know that one of the major themes of Hamlet is revenge. (82 83) In our third and final point that the appearance of the supernatural ghost shows up the character and drives home a certain moral effect. Here is a transparent clear reality of the universe that the activity like murder must be disclosed even if it done in a very cleverer and in the most secret way. As Hamlet says about the murder of his father, For murder, though it have no tongue, will speak / With most miraculous organ. (II.2). Charles Murray is writing to The Wall Street Journal, which is a huge and very diverse audience to whom to present such a controversial argument. The point Murray is trying to make is that vocational schools are more effective and logical courses of action for young people entering the job market than is the conventional 4 year university track. In championing the cause of vocational schools over college, Murray uses logos, appeals to authority, though his tone makes him come across as a little condescending. This may almost damage his argument overall. Murray s argument is persuasive through his use of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He challenges widespread expectation of all middle class Americans: vocational training is second class. College is first class (Murray 632). This passage, while appearing to offer a simple definition to the reader in order for him or her to be informed of the subject matter argued herein, already states his position in the matter. Murray, possibly on purpose, taints his definition with diction illustrating his bias. This could possibly damage his argument, because though he cites different perspectives, the trouble with expectation, and a solution for these people, making him look like a hero in a way, he also shows himself to be almost prejudiced in the argument. Conversely, later championing the underdog, as he paints those with lower IQs, could potentially make up for his somewhat brazen attitude for some members of his large, and no doubt very disparate, audience. His argument does use pathos a little; citing the lower IQs, and that the people who own them may struggle trying to bend to American culture s demand for a Bachelor s Degree, tends to tug on the emotions of the reader, probably intentionally. This helps Murray a lot, for throughout the argument he has seemed very sure of his argument, and as earlier mentioned, often disdainful and lofty regarding the subject matter. Aerobic exercise guidelines for mostly sedentary pregnant women state that they should perform at about 60% 70% of their heart rate maximum, and guidelines for active pregnant women suggest they perform at about 60% 90% of their heart rate maximum (11). The United States guidelines supports exercise throughout the full nine months of pregnancy as a positive decision for expecting mothers (2). Just a handful of gains made while aerobically exercising during pregnancy include maintaining weight, less complications with delivery, a shorter labor, a decrease in stress, less back pain, a decrease in arterial stiffness, improved posture, increased self confidence, improved insulin sensitivity and glycogen storing, better sleep, a decreased risk of preeclampsia, decreased pelvic girdle pain, and an increased quality of life (6, 9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 19, 23). It is also important to acknowledge that mothers who exercised 3 months before they became pregnant experienced even more advantages with a significant decrease in pregnancy discomforts (9). As they are nocturnal, they camp through the day in thick, inaccessible vegetation wherever possible their reproduction potential is such that repeated control programs must be conducted before any sustained population reduction is achieved their omnivorous feeding habits give pigs a wide range of available food sources, making successful pre feeding difficult their home ranges are large (2 50 km2) so control programs must be conducted over a large area (often including several properties) to be effective. Developing a pig control strategy The strategic management of feral pigs is aimed at minimising the damage they cause to primary production and conservation areas, not merely to kill pigs. Strategic management involves four key components: definition of the problem. First you need to define the true impact of feral pigs on the valued resource. This sets a justifiable cost of control management plan. Next it is important to determine the best combination of control methods for your control program. Often the most effective approach is to coordinate on a local and regional level implementation. In previous years, many countries and territories around the world have attempted to build walls, and many have had very much success. For example, Most of the walls built after World War 2 and the Cold War still exist today. There were a total of 110 walls built between that time period. In addition, the paper analyzes the perspectives of women and men and whether they support or are against feminist student culture. Lastly, the paper discusses recommendations and future research for student affairs professions to maintain feminist student culture in higher education. Understanding feminism Feminism in the United States is often separated into three waves (Vaccaro, 2009, Vernet Butera, 2005). The first wave began during the late 1800s to early 20th century, women began fighting for gender equality, emancipation, and economic rights, which lasted through the woman suffrage movement (Breen Karpinski, 2008; Vaccaro, 2009; Vernet Butera, 2005). Dissatisfied with women s status, women fought for social, economical, and political equality by ratifying the 19th Amendment. However, anti feminists viewed gender equality as a minor issue and compared women to uncivilized populations (Vernet Butera, 2005). After ratifying the 19th Amendment, the second wave peeked during 1960s to 1970 s social movement. Women wanted control of their bodies, freely chosen maternity, end domestic violence, and equality in a male society (Vernet Butera, 2005). Unfortunately, this freedom is being threatened and the Internet as we know it could change for good. Schools, for example, are having a hard enough time obtaining the funding for materials like school supplies or for qualified teachers, and to add the cost of individual websites that students need access to is unfair and in some schools, impossible. This proposal would also allow ISP s to block certain websites all together. For example, Verizon could block Google completely, forcing their customers to pay for the Verizon search engine. Not only would it add extra costs to your internet bill, but it would also create a tiered internet. This means that not only would customers have to pay for certain websites, but those same costly sites would have to pay the ISPs as well. A tiered internet means that a few websites would get high speed priority and be favored over other sites. To be placed in these high speed tiers, the websites would have to pay huge amounts of money to the ISPs. Why should the Internet Service Providers have full, unrestricted access to control everything that goes on online? A tiered Internet would effect everyone, and not always in a good way. • 16. Zadie Smith s Two Men Arrive In A Village Two Men Arrive in a Village (2016) written by Zadie Smith, is a short story following events that take place in a West African Village, narrated by a woman belonging to that village. The story is a parable, which is a symbolic story told with the purpose of teaching a spiritual lesson to its reader. Two Men Arrive in a Village tells the ever repeating account of two men arriving in a village, striking fear into its people, killing, raping and stealing from the villagers who inhabit it. Smith constructed the narrative in such a way that it traces a story that occurs in various locations at once, parallel to a specific situation, all taking place at the same time. By doing this Smith weaves a specific story and a broad story together. While following the events in the African village, Smith s story also encompasses a prevalent point, that men can feasibly appear at any location at any time bringing destruction with them. The story begins with two seemingly friendly men arriving in a village. As the story unfolds the men become less friendly and more detrimental, in the process of plowing through the village unleashing bloody chaos . Even though the particular experience is not the story that repeats itself, Smith s parable embodies the universal theme of power and violence all around the world. The men reveal their true motives as soon as they walk around the village and begin to steal possessions, all the while denying their true actions as stealing . Despite the villagers hospitality these visits always follow a pattern. After meals are finished and drinks are sucked down Theft is their first and least serious offense. They start by walking around the village casually taking items as trivial as a cigarette, followed by a sly deceitful thank you . They will soon progress from pocket picking to looting homes taking whatever they please, without running into confrontation from the villagers. The men will always steal from the villages, ransacking pockets or houses taking anything from watches to women. The thefts come easily to the men because no one will ever dare to stop them. This makes the engine highly efficient and lightweight compared to four stroke systems. Rather than entering through valves, the fuel/air mixture enters through an intake port and exhaust exits out of an exhaust port. In place of traditional valves the two stroke engine uses the piston s position to force out exhaust or suck in fuel mixture. Reeds are vital to a two stroke system. The reeds are placed between the intake manifold and the carburetor, open and close to allow the fuel / air mixture to enter the case of the engine and trap it, and ensure the proper exchange of gasses in the engine. This procedure might sound complex, but it is, in fact, extremely effective and easy to understand. The whole cycle can be explained as follows: 1) As the piston moves from bottom dead center to top dead center it creates a vaccum to draw the fuel / air mixture through the carburetor and past the reed valve assembly. 2) The piston moves down from top dead center to bottom dead center. The reed closes, causing the pressure to build in the cylinder. The movement of the piston uncovers the intake port and pressurized the fuel / air mixture. 3) The piston now moves up from bottom dead center to top dead center, effectively ending a cycle and starting another. Two experienced climbers, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, set out to conquer the mountain Siula Grande. They do indeed achieve their aim, but disaster strikes on the way down and Simon has to make an impossible decision should he cut the rope holding Joe, thereby saving his own life, or should he stay attached, leading to certain death for both of them? The globalization has been making it easier for people to move not just across the border but rather across the world, resulting in many ongoing issues about social cohesion and immigrant integration in the urban neighborhoods. Immigrant integration as suggested by the IOM is a two way process, which includes both the immigrant and the host society. Many literatures have pointed out that immigrant integration must be foster in local neighborhood instead of the broader nationwide policy. Thailand is also experiencing this phenomenon, especially the big cities such as Bangkok, Pattaya and Chiang Mai. However, the past evidences suggest that Thai people have a very limited understanding about the notion of diversity, and many of them still have the bad prejudice in regard to migrant workers. The title of the poem derives from a speech in the famous Shakespeare play, Macbeth, and it signifies the ephemeral nature of life. The writer depicts this behind a scenic, Vermont countryside, offsetting the horror that this accident caused. The author also uses many other ways to evoke a sense of horror in this poem. Furthermore, the writer succeeds in creating a sense of horror through the buzzsaw by making the accident seem very unexpected, as the quote As it ran light, or had to bear a load. And nothing happened shows just how unprecedented the accident was, and it describes the fact that the buzzsaw never did anything of the manner. The Logic Of English Land Law As it has been a substantial part of the Land Registration Act 2002, I would like to look into the process of electronic conveyancing and how it supports my argument that the logic of English land law had been changed through the Act to a more rational, market efficient way. The Land Register was empowered to set up a Land Registry Network , this network could go beyond the legal aspect of the transaction and could cover the whole transaction from the point when a property is put on sale . The formalities of electronic dispositions were also introduced in the Act. The electronic document now had to stipulate its effective time and date, as well as to include electronic signatures of all the parties by whom it purports to be authenticated plus every electronic signature has to be certified. If an electric document complied with these formalities, it was to be regarded by law as a written deed, signed by each individual and sealed by each corporation . Another important concept development was network access agreement where the lawyers would be allowed to make changes to the title or the cautions register without involving the land registry officers. There were rules imposed on regulation of the network and in order to enter into a network access agreement an applicant had to fulfill criteria. The Act has also set out that whenever there was a conflict, the overriding nature of the obligation owed under the network access agreement, such obligation would ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Provide examples from your experience. When I think of solidarity and charity, they both appear very similar and there is no black and white answer. However, when I think of charity, I always think of giving to those who have less than you. It is this idea that you may have authority or higher power over someone less fortunate. When volunteering for a charity, there is this idea that anything a volunteer does will be helpful. An example of charity to me, would be donating cloths to a shelter. From experience, interning at a shelter, people would always donate clothes. As this was necessary and helpful, at one point we were unable to accept any more clothing donations because we had too much. I think when people donate clothes, they automatically think they are contributing to the charity, following the idea that by doing that they helped the agency out. Solidarity on the other hand is a more personal approach to helping others. To me solidarity is when an individual truly works with others to identify what it is that they need or want, not just assuming that whichever service they provide will be helpful. I believe that solidarity takes more of an equality and empowering approach, which leads to working more collaboratively with individuals. You wait in anguish until you come up with the wonderful idea that the teacher just might be willing to forgive today. Surely others have missed the deadline as well. You ease yourself into a mellow confidence as you decide to turn the assignment in blank. The teacher doesn t buy your story of how it was not posted in a good location and hands it back to you with a zero. It is rare that these situations ever work out. Blind hope can only lead to unforeseen consequences. Blind hope can cause one to ignore risks and look only to what good could come out of it. The rewards always seem to outweigh the risks.
