Differences Between Lcr And Aps 210
1. LCR requirements; Differences between LCR and APS 210
The new Basel III framework establishes higher liquidity requirements to ensure banks are better
equipped to absorb losses like those relating to the global financial crisis . (Delimatsis Panagiotis,
2012) Basel III promotes LCR (liquidity coverage ratio), ratio of high quality liquid assets(HQLA) to
total net liquidity outflows over 30 days. Theoretically, banks whose LCR is more than 100 percent
possess sufficient liquidity to withstand a month of elevated financial stress. (House, Sablik, Walter,
2016)
APRA provides that the only Australian dollar denominated instruments that qualify as HQLA are
notes and coin, cash balances at the Reserve Bank, and debt instruments ... Show more content on

According to APRA, HQLA include cash, bank bills and CDs issued by financial institutions and at
call deposits. (APRA, 2008)
Noticeably, the revisions to the LCR include an expansion in the range of assets eligible as HQLA and
introduction of CLF (committed liquidity facility). ( Basel III: Liquidity Coverage Ratio Revised ,
2013)
Regarding expansion of HQLA, according to Gomes and Wilkins (2013), pool of eligible HQLA was
expanded to incorporate a broader range of assets, and that results in lower centralization on banks
balance sheets and decreasing probability of reselling assets and a severe drop of market liquidity over
crisis scenario. The new requirement reveals that a new category of Level 2B assets has been
introduced. Level 2 assets may not in aggregate account for more than 40% of a banks stock of HQLA
and Level 2B assets may not account for more than 15% of a banks stock of HQLA. ( Basel III:
Relaxations to the Liquidity Coverage Ratio , 2013)
Regarding CLF, according to RBA (2015), Basel III framework permits central banks to offer a CLF
that can be counted towards the regulatory requirement. Through this facility, the Reserve Bank
commits to provide pre specified amounts of Australian dollar liquidity to banks subject to the full
LCR, against a range of assets under repurchase

Presidential Election Vs. Election
Fifteen years ago, President George Bush won the presidential election beating Al Gore, who had won
the popular vote. This election is one of the most contested in this century. The same election is also
an example of the United States Electoral College voting system in action. The Electoral College
permits a candidate to win a presidential election without winning the popular vote. The American
campaign and election system can be broken down into three significant parts, the nomination, the
campaign, and the election. Each portion of the campaign and election system is distinct from the
other, but have some similarities. Prior to running in the national presidential election, the candidate
must win the party nomination. The nomination ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In addition to nomination issues, there are campaign fund issues. As described by Paul Steinhauser
and Robert Yoon s article, Cost to Win Congressional Election Skyrockets, for CNN, the cost to win
congressional elections is rising steeply. Steinhauser and Yoon explain that on average it costs $1.6
million to win a House seat, which, after accounting for inflation, is 344% more than in 1986.
Steinhauser and Yoon also emphasize that in the House of Representatives, incumbents outspend their
challengers by an average ratio of $3 for every $1 the challenger spends. Senate incumbents on
average outspend their challengers by $3.5 million. The authors also explain that in 2012 outside
groups spent $457 million on congressional elections. An outside group could be a group or
individual, for example a PAC (Political Action Committee) or a wealthy individual. Ashley Parker
relates her article, Outside Money Drives a Deluge of Political Ads, in The New York Times to the
influx in spending by outside groups. She explains that political spending for advertising is increasing
rapidly compared to past elections. Parker also emphasizes that outside groups buy more
advertisement time than the candidates themselves. She concludes her article by emphasizing that
soon enough political advertisements are going to start airing on TV right after November elections,
this is some two years before the next vote. Equally important

How Did Alice Become A Vampire
Alice let her ice blue eyes sweep over the crowded room before her gaze fell upon the Master
Vampires. She needed air. Needed a way to escape this stuffy crowded ballroom before she went
insane. Dropping her gaze back onto the group she stood with, Alice took a small step back before
turning on the heel of her shoe, then vanishing into the crowd. Placing her empty wine glass down on
a passing tray, Alice stopped one last time, before pushing the glass door open that led onto the
balcony. A rush of cold air blasted her pale angelic face, and a small fanged smile appeared as she
slipped through the crack, and into the night. Sitting on the edge of the stone balcony, she let her ice
blue eyes sweep over the foggy castle gardens. Fog around the castle was common, and it took her a
long time to get used to it. Though she was a vampire, fog for some unknown reason made her slightly
uneasy. Even before she became immortal, fog normally scared her, and she rarely liked to be in it.
Since becoming a vampire, Alice still had great distaste for the fog, but as long as she wasn t in it then
she was able to just deal with it. Perhaps she has read one to many ghost stories back in the day or
maybe it was because she was just a sensitive soul. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She was a pretty little thing which was part of the reason why Thomas was so soft on her. He viewed
her as a fragile thing that could break at any second. Fragile looking she was, but she was also a

about anything she could get her pale slender fingers on. Her favorite spot in the whole castle, was a
window seat in the library that over looked the rose garden. She would sit there for hours, just reading,
and enjoying the moonlight that made her look like an actual living

Queen Elizabeth 1588 Essay
ELIZABETH I. AGAINST THE SPANISH ARMADA. 1588
This oration is both a political speech and a narrative text. It was given by Queen Elizabeth the 1st of
England on august the 9th of 1588 to her troops at Tilbury, Essex.
The purpose and intention of this speech was to support and motivate her soldiers just before they go
off to battle to face in those days what was known as to be one of the greatest powers in all of Europe
the Spanish Armada. Led by Phillip II of Spain and the Duke of Parma (his nephew).
This particular version of the speech that I will be commenting on is accepted as being authentic and it
has become the most famous one. It was recorded by Dr. Leonel Sharp (1559 1631) an English
churchman and archdeacon of Berkshire in a letter to the Duke of Buckingham a bit after 1623. This
letter was then published in the Cabala in 1654. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of the versions was recorded by William Leigh (1550 1639) an English clergyman and royal tutor
around 1612. Another one appears beneath the painting Elizabeth at Tilbury in Saint Faith´s church,
Gaywood, Norfolk. These two are practically the same speech and then there is James Aske´s version
published in 1558 in Elizabetha Triumphans apparently he was a soldier and also present like Sharp at
Tilbury.
There is substantial evidence proofing that Elizabeth´s speech is genuine and that she really did appear
in front of her soldiers riding on a white horse, wearing shining armour and giving a rousing speech as
it was said by some. Nome the less throughout the years writers and historians have had their doubts
whether she really stood in front of her troops at Tilbury.
Lady Elizabeth Tudor who later became Queen Elizabeth I, something she never imagined would
happen, became the ruler of England and was crowned Queen on January the 15th 1559, she reigned

Atticus Personal Response
I am reading the book, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. The recent chapters we have been
reading focus on how to walk in someone else s shoes. In chapter 10, 11, and 12 mostly talks about
how Aunt Alexandra comes and lives with them for a while and how Jem is maturing more. In
chapters 13, 14, and 15 shows that Atticus goes to the jail cell where Tom Robinson is and so Jem,
Dill, and Scout sneak out and go looking for him. They see that a mob of men are coming towards
Atticus and Tim, so Scout runs to him and makes an end to the situation. Who knew a young child
could protect a man from other men. Some personalities that Atticus shows is knowledgeable and
responsible.
G. (To begin with) I will be characterizing Atticus as knowledgeable ... Show more content on

Within this story there is plenty of evidence to support this. Atticus is does not just have multiple of
knowledge for vocabulary and reading but he also has great knowledge of kid behavior and to be in
someone else s shoes. As a father of two, he is knowledgeable in many materials. First of all, he
teaches his children how read at a young age, so his kids do not have difficulties in school. He tries to
pass on all of his knowledge to his kids. Another way he has plenty of knowledge is by reading. He is
not a normal father in Maycomb county, who drinks beer and plays football. He would much rather
read than play any active sport. One way to show this from the book is He did not do the things our
schoolmates fathers did: he never went hunting, he did not play poker or fish or drink or smoke (Lee
119). This shows that Mr. Finch prefers not to do the crazy stuff other fathers did. He prefers to relax,
read a book, and talk to his kids daily. The final way he demonstrates his knowledge is by taking the
Tom Robinson s case. He knows that he will not win but he is doing it for himself. Atticus tells, The
only thing we ve got is a black man s word against the Ewell . The evidence boils down to you did I
didn t (Lee 117). This describes that even though he know he is not going to win the case, he is going
to try his best, so that is great knowledge of dedication. Not only is Atticus knowledgeable, he is also
responsible. One way he shows responsibility is by teaching his kids to show manner to
people...especially old ones. When Jem got furious at Ms. Dubose and cut her camellia bushes, Atticus
took it into his own hands and made Jem apologize to her. A way he punished Jem is by reading to her
for an hour everyday for a month. Another way he shows responsibility is by asking his sister to come
and take help him take care of Jem and Scout. In the book it shows that, We decided that

Impermeable, surficial materials such as massive bedrock and asphalt paving prevent infiltration so
moisture runs off or evaporates. Water infiltrates more readily into moist, unsaturated regolith than
into dry regolith. Dense, vegetative cover enhances infiltration because soils are typically moist and
porous, thus runoff is retarded. In forested areas, trees slow down the rate at which precipitation is
delivered to the land surface, and considerable moisture is temporarily stored in humus and forest
litter. On gentle, tree covered slopes and flat lying terrain, slow runoff enhances infiltration. Runoff is
accelerated on steep slopes and in areas with sparse vegetation, and infiltration decreases accordingly.
The rate at which water is delivered to the land surface has a very important effect on infiltration.
Short lived storms with intense rainfall result in lower infiltration and increased runoff because the
water piles up on the surface faster than it can infiltrate. During periods of light to moderate rainfall,
runoff is retarded and infiltration rises accordingly. Special environmental conditions, such as snow
melting above frozen ground, greatly intensify runoff and reduce infiltration; conversely, snow
melting above unfrozen ground can result in a high percentage of the moisture infiltrating the soil.
Thus regional and local climatic factors are also important. 9. How does geology

Shang Dynasty Dbq Essay
Although China has a complex history, it was one of the most economically stable countries in the
world. Chinese s current complex form of government started with different principles for each city
state and was later unified by dynasties. However, even before the establishment of modern day
China, its success can be contributed to its geographic features, earliest historical record in the Oracle

China s several geographic features contribute to its isolation and success. One of its geographic

Born in 551 B.C.E., Confucius is one of the well known philosophers. He lived in Lu and held no
political office. However, he was a philosopher who developed logical principle and beliefs about
government and the principle that its existence is for the people. Eventually these logical statements
were compiled to form Confucianism. On the other hand, Taoism was the belief that nature is the
governing principle, while Legalism conveys the idea that the state should rule the people with fear. In
other words, these philosophical principles and beliefs were part of Zhou s accomplishments. Other
accomplishments include: the iron plow, the well field system, a place for 0 in mathematics, irrigation

dynasty into the western and eastern Zhou, along with the spreading of iron weapons. Approximately
in 471 B.C.E., the Zhou split into seven states, beginning with the Warring States Period. Moreover,

Evaluation Of The Anterior Cruciate Ligament
Estimations indicate that each year in the United States 200,000 ACL tears occur, with approximately
50 percent of those tears requiring reconstructive surgery: Furthermore, about half of those ACL tears
are accompanied by a torn meniscus (the cartilage that acts as the shock absorber between the shin
bone and the thigh bone) and/or injuries to other ligaments. Common symptoms of a torn ACL include
knee instability, swelling and pain.
What is the ACL?
The Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and the Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) are located inside
the knee joint. The ACL and PCL form an X behind the kneecap (patella), with the ACL resting in
front of the PCL. Both of these ligaments are responsible for controlling the back and forth motion of
the knee joint; however, the ACL is responsible for stabilizing the kneecap ). In addition, the ACL is
responsible for preventing the shin bone (tibia) from sliding forward on the thigh bone (femur). The
ACL provides the knee with stability while an individual pivots or twists. This ligament is critical
because without it, performing any kind of rotational activity is impossible, particularly when it comes
to playing sports like soccer and basketball.
What Does It Mean When Someone Has a Torn ACL?
An ACL tear is among the most common knee injury reported. This injury involves a breakage of the
fibers making up the ACL. Sometimes, the entire Anterior Cruciate Ligament is torn; whereas, other
times it is just partially torn.

The Red Badge Of Courage
The Red Badge of Courage is a war novel written to exemplify the experiences and emotions of a
young soldier in the American Civil War. The novel details the qualities of maturity and manhood in a
gripping tale of Private Henry Fleming of the Union Army. The author, Stephen Crane wishes to relate
the American public to the emotional and psychological challenges endured by countless men in the
Civil War. Born in 1871, Stephen Crane was raised in a Methodist family. While training to become a
professional baseball player, he eventually chose to write as his career. Throughout most of his life,
Stephen stuck to his commitment that all his work should be backed by personal experience on the
subject matter. However, his most famous work, The Red Badge of Courage was completely based on
his remarkable imagination. He had no war experience; however, his vivid descriptions and details of
war surprised critics with their incredible accuracy. Stephen s approach at writing the novel was to
emphasize the passion, confusion, and growth of the soldiers, as most of the war tales at the time were
merely factual. The Red Badge of Courage presents war in a new light, one of emotional struggles and
mental milestones. In the tense times of today, it is easy to forget the maturity and courage of our
nation s heroes. Many writers and politicians portray war as a battle between good and evil, or as a
fight for superiority. While this may be true, it is necessary to remember the

How Did The Atomic Bomb Affect Society
On the 6th August 1945 the Enola Gay, a USA warplane, dropped an atomic bomb (called the Little
Boy ) on a Japanese city called Hiroshima. This was the first time the atomic bomb was used in war.
The bomb exploded at around 580 m above the ground with the equivalent power of 15 kilotons of
TNT. Sixty six thousand people died instantly from the heat and impact of the bomb. Three days later,
on the 9th August, the US decided to drop a second and bigger atomic bomb (called the Fat Man ), on
the Japanese city of Nagasaki. The Fat Man had an equivalent power of 20 kilotons of TNT, causing
more than fourthly thousand deaths. The dropping of the bombs, which was on the order of the US

Japan surrendered 5 days later signaling the end of the war. It also changed how the military operated,

The dropping of the atomic bombs changed warfare forever. Initially during the Manhattan Project,
which was the codename for the American project to develop of nuclear weapons, and the testing of
the bomb in New Mexico, the Americans not realise the impact it would have on the world. They
knew the bomb would end the war, but the priority was to be the first to develop this powerful
weapon; before the Germans or Japanese. The use of the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki resulted
in a much bigger impact than expected. Apart from the surrender of the Japanese, deaths and
devastation, these events caused fear in other countries. Suddenly the USA had a weapon that could
destroy the world over and over again. Other countries joined in the race to also own their own atomic
bomb. The USSR and USA started to build even more destructive bombs such as the Tzar Bomba,
which was made by the soviets. The bombs caused not only counties to fear them but also the solders

Simon. Golding describes Simon as shy and the boys think he is crazy, but from the reader s view we
can see that him being crazy is simply not the case. I feel a relationship with Simon because he is
misunderstood, however he understands. Indeed I do compare myself to a timid, observant little boy. I

daughters alone. Whenever they took him away, they were left with the neighbors for protection. He
would be gone for two to three days at a time. My mother was nearly kidnapped. The only reason they
were saved was because the maids of the house came out and started hitting the men. She was unable
to walk the streets or go to the market. Many families had to flee because many people were being
killed. Children of the military were escorted to places and teenage boys of the family were being
slaughtered. The families were either fleeing to South America, Spain, or the U.S.A.
A day before they left, he told his daughters that they we going to leave the country. My mother did
not want to leave to America but rather with her friends to South America. It was ideal to take refuge

1942 was a very pivotal year the the United States during the War. Pearl Harbor has been attacked a
few months earlier on December 7, 1941, which launched the official start of the U.S entering the war.
The U.S was now faced with a war on two fronts. Roosevelt was being pulled between attacking the
Japanese in the West or to aid his ally England in the East. Although Roosevelt promised Churchill to
aid them as soon as the U.S enters the war, Roosevelt decided to deal with matters in the West first. He
would execute Executive order 9066 (the relocation of Japanese Americans into concentration camps).
Shortly after this order was executed, the coast of California was attacked a few days later. Roosevelt

Popular Shows During The Golden Age Of Theatre
Beginning towards the end of this time period (1943), and continuing on through the next period of
American theatre, is known as the golden age of theatre. Shows during this time period tended to be a
bit showier than in other periods focusing more on technical and design elements, while still
maintaining a story. During the golden age of theatre many of the most popular musicals were
produced.
Some of the most popular shows take the form of musicals during this era.
Popular musicals include: The Wizard of Oz, Oklahoma. Although musicals may now be the most
popular part of Broadway, during its initial experiments it seems that producers were skeptical about
its commercial potential. Many of the musicals produced are still popular to this day,

America s Postindustrial Western Culture
America s postindustrial western culture has afforded many citizens with a quality of life that that can
sometimes blind them from the realities of the social, political, and environmental injustices that the
majority of the world is suffering from. Sheltered from these exploited countries, we are generally left
to rely on the often bias and sensationalized media to inform our nation. Only when destruction lies
before us are we humbled and inspired to implement change. Events that open unknowing eyes to
vulnerability are the ones that shift the public interest. This catalyst can include anything from a
terrorist attack to a natural disaster, or in this case, a drought. The California drought is a perfect
testament to this. Back in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Though most are blaming the drought for these frustrating new norms, the farmers are not buying it.
Not with controversial legalities such as the Endangered Species Act blatantly standing in between
them and available water. Environmental regulations and the United States laws are receiving
backlash for their representation of the resources exploited by human production. Though farmers and
consumers will be forced to continue to adapt, regulations protecting highly underrepresented species
and habitats should not be overlooked in order for Americans to continue to live blind to the fact that
resources are limited. We can only resist adapting to accommodate species other than ourselves for so
long before reality humbles us to the point of our own devastation.
The California Delta Smelt are a species of fish that exclusively inhabit the San Francisco Bay area.
Known for this and smelling like cucumbers, these little guys are not much of a force to be reckoned
with. That is, until 2007, when the species was finally listed and afforded maximum protection under
the Endangered Species Act. The Endangered Species Act was created, as the second section declares,
to conserve both the ecosystems upon which endangered species and threatened species depend and
the species themselves, because rare species retain esthetic, ecological, educational, historical,
recreational, and scientific value (Freyfogle 233). This idea of protecting a species from extinction

Taking a Closer Lookt at Our Auditory System Essays
Hello, again. In this section we are going to have a closer look on our auditory system, so as to
understand its basic function. Why should we learn about that? Because as listeners, we owe to know
some basic things about this magnificent human mechanism. Our auditory system is one of our gates
to the outer world. It helps us pick up sound stimuli from our environment, transduce these stimuli
into neural impulses and finally, carry these impulses to specific locations in the brain. In fact, its
basic function, if we could summarize that, is the transduction of mechanical energy (that is, those
sound vibrations in the air) into electrical energy (electrical pulses in the brain).
Now... When we say mechanical energy we mean a sound wave ... Show more content on

This pinna is more or less oval shaped, flexible and can vary in size. Due to the fact that there are only
few muscles in the area of the external ear, humans need to turn their heads towards the sound source
location, in order to achieve a more accurate detection of the position of this sound source. As far as
the middle ear is concerned, its purpose is to transform the energy of a sound wave into internal
vibrations, which take place in the bone structure of the middle ear and ultimately transform these
vibrations into a compressional wave, which will be received by the inner ear. The middle ear could be
described as an air filled cavity that consists of the eardrum and 3 tiny interconnected bones (in fact,
they re the smallest bones of our body), the well known the hammer, anvil, and stirrup, which serve to
amplify the vibrations. What actually happens there, is that the compression of the sound wave forces
the eardrum inward, while a rarefaction forces the eardrum outward, thus vibrating the eardrum at the
same frequency of the sound wave. After the eardrum s vibrations are passed through the middle ear
bones, they go on to the cochlea. Basically, the movements of the eardrum are connected to the
hammer and as a result, those movements set the hammer, anvil and stirrup in motion, at the same
frequency of the sound wave, as we said

Grade Hierarchy Analysis Call Graph
According to Figure 2.8, node 7, node 8 and node 9 do not have any other predecessors except node 5
node 6 and by removing non instantiated methods they become head nodes. So, I should remove these
heads from graph and this new graph can be considered as RTA result for the given CHA Call Graph
(Figure 2.9).
Figure 2.9: The result of removing head nodes from graph
To clarify this approach, I will use the computed Class Hierarchy Analysis Call Graph from the first
example (Figure 2.6) and convert it to RTA. Since set of instantiated classes contains Class B Class C,
according to the algorithm, I have to remove node A.m( ).
Moreover, if I check Call Graph again, I will find that node Interface.( ) has a reflexive edge and it s
indegree=1 . Therefore, this node should be deleted as well.
Figure 2.10 illustrates a conversion from CHA to RTA:

Disadvantages Of Integrated Model
Abstract The integrated model is a new model that is recently developed to decrease from the classical
approach weaknesses and problems in building the management information systems (MIS s) that are
used to solve the management problems in the practical life. The use of this integrated model needs to
be tested, to prove how efficiently and successfully the model works. To achieving this objective, this
paper uses the mathematical probability theories to implement an internal test of the integrated model
work before using it in the practical life. The paper uses the qualitative research method in its
methodologies.

1.b What is the drawback of the classical approach
The information system life cycle of the classical approach (ISLC) consists of five main stages that
are: planning, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance or test stages. The classical approach
uses these stages in its work in building the management information systems that will be used to
solve the management problems. The weakness and problem of the classical approach arises from the
permanent use of all of these five stages in all cases; because there are many cases that actually need
to use some of these stages but not to all of them, and as a result the classical approach suffers from
the weakness and problem in consuming more time and additional cost when it is used to build the
management information systems (MIS s) in order to solve the management problems

Research Paper On Whiskey
Whiskey is a unique spirit, with a unique taste. Period. While it would be wrong to say whiskey is
unique in its own right since other spirits have some traits in common with whiskey. Vodka, for the
most part is also made of grain. Brandy is kept to mature in barrels. Rum has a similar range of
unaged and aged expressions, as does the Mexican favorite tequila. Those last three often benefit from
aging in used whiskey barrels. Gin may not seem to be related, but its grain spirit, and its ancestral
cousin, genever, is barrel aged in the Netherlands to make a surprisingly whiskey like spirit. But no
other spirit inspires as much passion as whiskey! There are countless more vodkas than there are
whiskeys, with indigenous designer brands popping up in every country but are there books that

Japan And The United Kingdom
Japan and the United Kingdom have long been world powers and are now in the top 10 biggest
economies of the world; being third and fifth in the 2014 rankings. (Centre for Economics and
Business Research. 2015) However, both countries have been hit by a great economic crisis that
changed their economies deeply. Though it occurred on different time frames; 1991 to 2000 for Japan
and 2007 to 2012 for the United Kingdom, a lot of similarities can be found between the causes that
started both crises as well as between the development of these crises. However, not everything is
comparable so we can wonder, to what extent are the Japanese recession of the 1990s and the Great
Recession of 2007 2012 similar? In order to answer this question and get a full understanding of both
periods, we will first look at the causes of the Great Recession, then have a look at the causes of the
Japanese lost decade and finally, analyse the similarities and differences between the two crises. Japan
saw its nation change in 1990 when the Japanese economy stagnated. Indeed, between 1991 and 2003
the Japanese economy only grew 1.14% (of GDP) every year. This is not enough when compared to
other developed countries. (Yuji Horioka, 2006). Alexander, A. J. (2000) states the facts that from the
first quarter of 1990 to the first quarter of 2000 the annual increase in real gross domestic product per
capita barely exceeded 1 percent, making it very clear that Japan was in a recession. This is all the

The Matrix written and directed by the Wachowski brothers. They are given false images and they

his pod that the machines have created. Once the prisoner of the cave has broken free he can now look
all around him, and see the objects as they really are and the people carrying them as well. While in
the movie The Matrix , Neo is using is own eyes for the first time and sees that he is actually living in
a human factory. In Plato s Allegory of the Cave he states that the freed prisoner would be shocked by
the outside world, he would not be able to see the realities that he was used to deep in the shadows of
the cave. The prisoner would try to think that what he saw and experienced before was truer than what
is he sees now. When Neo is revived from being detached from the pod, Morpheus tells him what state
the world is in now and Neo is in a state of disarray and denial. This new knowledge of the truth,
overwhelmed Neo so much that he vomited and passed out. The released prisoner in The Allegory of

According to this definition:
all trading rules enacted by Member States which are capable of hindering, directly or indirectly,
actually or potentially, intra Community trade are to be considered as measures having an effect
equivalent to quantitative restrictions.
This declaration is demonstrative of the ECJ s strict interpretation of their duty to enforce the principle
of EC legislation in this area. For example, it is not necessary to show an actual hindrance to trade
between Member States: it is quite sufficient that the measure should merely be capable of such an
effect.
It is interesting to note that a measure which is not capable of hindering trade between Member States,
which merely affects the flow of trade within a Member State, will not breach Article 28. In Oebel 6 a
Belgian law banning the production and delivery to consumers and retail outlets of bakery products
during night hours, designed to protect workers in small and medium sized bakeries, was held not to
be in breach of Article 28. Although delivery of imported products through the same outlets was
precluded, trade within the Community remained possible at all times . Moreover, a measure falling
within the Dassonville formula but which is solely to the disadvantage of domestic products will not
infringe Community law (Jongeel Kaas BV v Netherlands ) 7. From this it is apparent

Evaluation Of The Execution Of An Evaluation
Program Evaluation Chapters 11 12 Warranting the execution of an evaluation is not practical reality
for all programs, policies, organizations, as it is imperative for the evaluator to assess all factors. More
specifically, The temptation to evaluate everything may be compelling in an idealistic sense, but it
ignores many practical realities (Fitzpatrick, Sanders Worthen, 2011, p. 259. Ones ability to identify
appropriate opportunities requires essential skillsets, knowledge, and the ability to analyze each
condition. In today s society the primary drive behind an evaluation is due to a mandated funding
source, thus seeking accountability regarding public funded programs (Fitzpatrick, Sanders Worthen,

examine significant materials pertaining to the stakeholders, as well as properly identifying objectives
and expectancies held by the stakeholders (Fitzpatrick, Sanders Worthen, 2011). This process requests
the evaluator to review the purpose of the program, the users, the program, program theory, relevant
resources, and appropriate contextual issues. The evaluation process can have significant positive
impacts on both the stakeholders and the evaluator, as communication, knowledge, and relationships
are established. Thus, Evaluation can also educate stakeholders, empowering them to become active in

Networks exist to foster self help, to exchange information, to change society, improve productivity
and work life, and to share resources. They are structured to transmit information in a way that is
quicker, with more high touch, and more energy efficient than any other process we know.

Introduction (Section 1)
There is a sure component of truth to the way that networking all by itself is to a degree pointless
when contrasted with the capacity to depend upon others and promptly accomplish an imparted or

of my individual network; up to and including a talk of what people or groups are right now included
inside the network, where potential future networks may lie, and how the network map may be
changed or separated later on keeping in mind the end goal to assist future needs. Through this talk, I

of networking. What is networking?

Antigone, The Universal And Most Heavily On A Hostile...
While myriad themes that pervade themselves throughout the entirety of Sophocles Antigone, the
universal and most heavily manifested theme is that regarding the conflict between how individuals
choose to make decisions in a society: should one fulfill religious and familial obligations even when
they contract the ruling of the state, or rather should the government be able to supersede divine right?
In the traditional Greek plays, the familial structure plays a significant role in governing the actions of
characters and causing conflicts, such as in the case of Oedipus marrying his mother out of ignorance
of familial connection because of divine rule and fate. Moreover, the role of hospitality and the almost
unbreakable bond of family are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sophocles thereby highlights Creon s injustice by showcasing not only the immorality of his actions
but also how he easily breaks familial bonds to maintain power and establish a strong government.

Idealism: The Root of Antigone s Downfall in Sophocles Antigone
Sophocles Antigone centers around a familial feud that develops between Antigone and Creon when
Antigone decides to bury her brother and Creon s niece, Polynices. While Antigone believes that it is
her religious and familial duty to bury her brother, Creon objects, citing the Theban civil war which
took place right before the events of the play. Adhering to Greek literary tradition, Sophocles
ultimately seeks not just to entertain the audience, but also to teach a moral lesson, in this case about
the consequences that ensue when a tyrannical ruler disobeys divine rule, violate religious obligation,
and attempt to place government over religion. In developing the plot and conflicts of the text,
Sophocles explores three unique but interconnected themes. Sophocles first considers the role of the
individual versus that of the family, then rule by consensus versus that by a monarchy, and finally
obligations to religion and tradition versus those to the state. The underlying conflict of Antigone,
therefore, is not simply that between Antigone and Creon, but also between the themes

My Experience Of Art
Since elementary school I have envisioned my life deeply intertwined with art, however, at the same
time I also knew that vision never had me living out the stereotype of a starving artist either. As a child
my understanding of artist in the work force was nothing more than the cliché vision, of a paint
covered artist smearing vivid hues on a canvas and then rushing to the nearest art gallery to sell their
work. I didn t know anything of the vast opportunities for artist or even how abundantly art is used
throughout our society. Maybe this was due to the fact I was never one of those kids who know what
they wanted to be since they were three. Nevertheless, I always had a passion to create, even when I
was determined to become the next Thomas Edison, I was looking for an outlet to create. By the time
third grade would roll around though, it would be made evident that art in its most traditional since of
drawing and painting would be the outlet I was always looking for. Understanding my niche in the
creative world would take me over a decade of self evaluation, inspiration, and research.
I never started out saying I was going to be an artist, I still did a child s fair share of doodles and
finger painting but it was never anything that raptured my attention. However, this would all change
on Christmas Eve, when my grandmother presented me with a book entitled How to Draw 120 of your

idea for the mid tribulation argument is the thought of separating the lambs and the goats. Mid

and erudition in a person (Scholarship, 2016). Scholarship is a noun of academic study or
achievement, learning at a higher level. Scholarship in nursing has become an essential part of our
professional evolution. Professional nursing practice at all levels is grounded in ethical practice.
Essentially, nurses need the constant searching and analysis attitude toward their practice and the care
environment. The conceptualization of scholarship in nursing has been seen most times from the point
of teaching and research. The master s prepared nurses examine policies and seek evidence for every
aspect of practice, thereby disseminating current evidence and identifying gaps where evidence is
lacking. Students being prepared for direct care roles will have graduate level content that builds upon

The Atomic Age
After the war in Europe had ended, the United States needed to terminate their participation in World
War II. In order to end the war, military action had to be taken against the Japanese so cause them to
surrender. The only issue was finding a way to carry out an attack that would have low casualties and
funding. During the war, the Japanese soldiers fought to the death, including mass suicides and attacks
by kamikazes, or suicide bombings in planes. A land invasion, such as D day, could have caused a
large death toll on Japan, and also cause many Americans to lose their lives. The United States
believed that to end the war they must make a critical blow to the Japanese. Thus the Hiroshima and
Nagasaki bombings were born. The bombings ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Nagasaki, the secondary bombing location, had its own reasons for its selection. Although, It was
believed that the mountains and the strange lay out of the city would reduced the area of destruction, it
had been chosen as a target because it was one of the largest seaports in southern Japan and contained
many factories that made ships, military equipment, and other war materials. The combined
destruction of these cities was thought to finally cause Japan to surrender unconditionally. On the
morning of August 6, 1945, about an hour before the bomb exploded over Hiroshima, Japanese radar
had detected American aircraft off the coast of southern Japan. As the planes grew closer japanese
operators had determined that the group of planes was very small, too small for an air raid or bombing
run. They concluded that the planes were only gathering information, and decided not to take any
action against them. This was a deadly mistake for the Japanese. At 8:15, the Enola Gay, an American
B 29 bomber flew over the city of Hiroshima. At 30,000 feet the plane dropped it load, Little Boy, the
world first atomic bomb. The bomb fell to 1,900 feet and then detonated over the city. The bomb
exploded with a blinding flash in the sky, and a great rush of air and a loud rumble of noise extended
for many miles around the city; the first blast was soon followed by the sounds of falling buildings
and of growing

Causes And Disadvantages Of Internet Addiction Essay
Nowadays, the Internet is one of the most important means of modern technology, which occupies and
invades minds and souls. This technology is exploited by some to satisfy their curiosity, to learn about
new discoverers, and to be challenged by adventures and to satisfy other desires. Despite the
privileges it has brought to people s lives, the Internet however has its own disadvantages. Internet
addiction is one of the most dangerous and frightening problems that has swept the world in all

their use of mobile phones and the internet caused them to lose a relationship or a job. People could
use the internet on laptops or even in mobile phones. The internet therefore has become essential to
the daily lives of more than one billion people. Thus, isolation and loneliness are one of the effects of
being addicted to the internet. The long time spent in front of the computer or mobile reduces social
activity, and this certainly affects the social relationships and caused people to lose some of their
social relationships like friendships or loved ones. According to Young (n.d.), in the United States,

  • 2. Differences Between Lcr And Aps 210 1. LCR requirements; Differences between LCR and APS 210 The new Basel III framework establishes higher liquidity requirements to ensure banks are better equipped to absorb losses like those relating to the global financial crisis . (Delimatsis Panagiotis, 2012) Basel III promotes LCR (liquidity coverage ratio), ratio of high quality liquid assets(HQLA) to total net liquidity outflows over 30 days. Theoretically, banks whose LCR is more than 100 percent possess sufficient liquidity to withstand a month of elevated financial stress. (House, Sablik, Walter, 2016) APRA provides that the only Australian dollar denominated instruments that qualify as HQLA are notes and coin, cash balances at the Reserve Bank, and debt instruments ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... According to APRA, HQLA include cash, bank bills and CDs issued by financial institutions and at call deposits. (APRA, 2008) Noticeably, the revisions to the LCR include an expansion in the range of assets eligible as HQLA and introduction of CLF (committed liquidity facility). ( Basel III: Liquidity Coverage Ratio Revised , 2013) Regarding expansion of HQLA, according to Gomes and Wilkins (2013), pool of eligible HQLA was expanded to incorporate a broader range of assets, and that results in lower centralization on banks balance sheets and decreasing probability of reselling assets and a severe drop of market liquidity over crisis scenario. The new requirement reveals that a new category of Level 2B assets has been introduced. Level 2 assets may not in aggregate account for more than 40% of a banks stock of HQLA and Level 2B assets may not account for more than 15% of a banks stock of HQLA. This election is one of the most contested in this century. The same election is also an example of the United States Electoral College voting system in action. The American campaign and election system can be broken down into three significant parts, the nomination, the campaign, and the election. As described by Paul Steinhauser and Robert Yoon s article, Cost to Win Congressional Election Skyrockets, for CNN, the cost to win congressional elections is rising steeply. Steinhauser and Yoon explain that on average it costs $1.6 million to win a House seat, which, after accounting for inflation, is 344% more than in 1986. Steinhauser and Yoon also emphasize that in the House of Representatives, incumbents outspend their challengers by an average ratio of $3 for every $1 the challenger spends. Senate incumbents on average outspend their challengers by $3.5 million. The authors also explain that in 2012 outside groups spent $457 million on congressional elections. An outside group could be a group or individual, for example a PAC (Political Action Committee) or a wealthy individual. Ashley Parker relates her article, Outside Money Drives a Deluge of Political Ads, in The New York Times to the influx in spending by outside groups. She explains that political spending for advertising is increasing rapidly compared to past elections. Needed a way to escape this stuffy crowded ballroom before she went insane. Dropping her gaze back onto the group she stood with, Alice took a small step back before turning on the heel of her shoe, then vanishing into the crowd. Placing her empty wine glass down on a passing tray, Alice stopped one last time, before pushing the glass door open that led onto the balcony. A rush of cold air blasted her pale angelic face, and a small fanged smile appeared as she slipped through the crack, and into the night. Sitting on the edge of the stone balcony, she let her ice blue eyes sweep over the foggy castle gardens. Fog around the castle was common, and it took her a long time to get used to it. Though she was a vampire, fog for some unknown reason made her slightly uneasy. Even before she became immortal, fog normally scared her, and she rarely liked to be in it. It was given by Queen Elizabeth the 1st of England on august the 9th of 1588 to her troops at Tilbury, Essex. The purpose and intention of this speech was to support and motivate her soldiers just before they go off to battle to face in those days what was known as to be one of the greatest powers in all of Europe the Spanish Armada. Led by Phillip II of Spain and the Duke of Parma (his nephew). This particular version of the speech that I will be commenting on is accepted as being authentic and it has become the most famous one. It was recorded by Dr. Leonel Sharp (1559 1631) an English churchman and archdeacon of Berkshire in a letter to the Duke of Buckingham a bit after 1623. As a father of two, he is knowledgeable in many materials. First of all, he teaches his children how read at a young age, so his kids do not have difficulties in school. He tries to pass on all of his knowledge to his kids. Another way he has plenty of knowledge is by reading. He is not a normal father in Maycomb county, who drinks beer and plays football. He would much rather read than play any active sport. One way to show this from the book is He did not do the things our schoolmates fathers did: he never went hunting, he did not play poker or fish or drink or smoke (Lee 119). This shows that Mr. Finch prefers not to do the crazy stuff other fathers did. He prefers to relax, read a book, and talk to his kids daily. The final way he demonstrates his knowledge is by taking the Tom Robinson s case. He knows that he will not win but he is doing it for himself. Atticus tells, The only thing we ve got is a black man s word against the Ewell . The evidence boils down to you did I didn t (Lee 117). This describes that even though he know he is not going to win the case, he is going to try his best, so that is great knowledge of dedication. Not only is Atticus knowledgeable, he is also responsible. One way he shows responsibility is by teaching his kids to show manner to people...especially old ones. When Jem got furious at Ms. Dubose and cut her camellia bushes, Atticus took it into his own hands and made Jem apologize to her. Impermeable, surficial materials such as massive bedrock and asphalt paving prevent infiltration so moisture runs off or evaporates. Water infiltrates more readily into moist, unsaturated regolith than into dry regolith. Dense, vegetative cover enhances infiltration because soils are typically moist and porous, thus runoff is retarded. In forested areas, trees slow down the rate at which precipitation is delivered to the land surface, and considerable moisture is temporarily stored in humus and forest litter. On gentle, tree covered slopes and flat lying terrain, slow runoff enhances infiltration. Runoff is accelerated on steep slopes and in areas with sparse vegetation, and infiltration decreases accordingly. The rate at which water is delivered to the land surface has a very important effect on infiltration. Short lived storms with intense rainfall result in lower infiltration and increased runoff because the water piles up on the surface faster than it can infiltrate. During periods of light to moderate rainfall, runoff is retarded and infiltration rises accordingly. Special environmental conditions, such as snow melting above frozen ground, greatly intensify runoff and reduce infiltration; conversely, snow melting above unfrozen ground can result in a high percentage of the moisture infiltrating the soil. Thus regional and local climatic factors are also important. 9. How does geology ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Evaluation Of The Anterior Cruciate Ligament Estimations indicate that each year in the United States 200,000 ACL tears occur, with approximately 50 percent of those tears requiring reconstructive surgery: Furthermore, about half of those ACL tears are accompanied by a torn meniscus (the cartilage that acts as the shock absorber between the shin bone and the thigh bone) and/or injuries to other ligaments. Common symptoms of a torn ACL include knee instability, swelling and pain. What is the ACL? The Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and the Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) are located inside the knee joint. The ACL and PCL form an X behind the kneecap (patella), with the ACL resting in front of the PCL. Both of these ligaments are responsible for controlling the back and forth motion of the knee joint; however, the ACL is responsible for stabilizing the kneecap ). In addition, the ACL is responsible for preventing the shin bone (tibia) from sliding forward on the thigh bone (femur). The ACL provides the knee with stability while an individual pivots or twists. This ligament is critical because without it, performing any kind of rotational activity is impossible, particularly when it comes to playing sports like soccer and basketball. What Does It Mean When Someone Has a Torn ACL? An ACL tear is among the most common knee injury reported. This injury involves a breakage of the fibers making up the ACL. As far as the middle ear is concerned, its purpose is to transform the energy of a sound wave into internal vibrations, which take place in the bone structure of the middle ear and ultimately transform these vibrations into a compressional wave, which will be received by the inner ear. The middle ear could be described as an air filled cavity that consists of the eardrum and 3 tiny interconnected bones (in fact, they re the smallest bones of our body), the well known the hammer, anvil, and stirrup, which serve to amplify the vibrations. What actually happens there, is that the compression of the sound wave forces the eardrum inward, while a rarefaction forces the eardrum outward, thus vibrating the eardrum at the same frequency of the sound wave. After the eardrum s vibrations are passed through the middle ear bones, they go on to the cochlea. Basically, the movements of the eardrum are connected to the hammer and as a result, those movements set the hammer, anvil and stirrup in motion, at the same frequency of the sound wave, as we said ... So, I should remove these heads from graph and this new graph can be considered as RTA result for the given CHA Call Graph (Figure 2.9). Figure 2.9: The result of removing head nodes from graph To clarify this approach, I will use the computed Class Hierarchy Analysis Call Graph from the first example (Figure 2.6) and convert it to RTA. Since set of instantiated classes contains Class B Class C, according to the algorithm, I have to remove node A.m( ). Moreover, if I check Call Graph again, I will find that node Interface.( ) has a reflexive edge and it s indegree=1 . Therefore, this node should be deleted as well. The classical approach uses these stages in its work in building the management information systems that will be used to solve the management problems. The weakness and problem of the classical approach arises from the permanent use of all of these five stages in all cases; because there are many cases that actually need to use some of these stages but not to all of them, and as a result the classical approach suffers from the weakness and problem in consuming more time and additional cost when it is used to build the management information systems (MIS s) in order to solve the management problems ... Though it occurred on different time frames; 1991 to 2000 for Japan and 2007 to 2012 for the United Kingdom, a lot of similarities can be found between the causes that started both crises as well as between the development of these crises. However, not everything is comparable so we can wonder, to what extent are the Japanese recession of the 1990s and the Great Recession of 2007 2012 similar? In order to answer this question and get a full understanding of both periods, we will first look at the causes of the Great Recession, then have a look at the causes of the Japanese lost decade and finally, analyse the similarities and differences between the two crises. In today s society the primary drive behind an evaluation is due to a mandated funding source, thus seeking accountability regarding public funded programs (Fitzpatrick, Sanders Worthen, 2011). Identifying the purpose of the evaluation is often times vague, requiring the evaluator to examine significant materials pertaining to the stakeholders, as well as properly identifying objectives and expectancies held by the stakeholders (Fitzpatrick, Sanders Worthen, 2011). While Antigone believes that it is her religious and familial duty to bury her brother, Creon objects, citing the Theban civil war which took place right before the events of the play. Adhering to Greek literary tradition, Sophocles ultimately seeks not just to entertain the audience, but also to teach a moral lesson, in this case about the consequences that ensue when a tyrannical ruler disobeys divine rule, violate religious obligation, and attempt to place government over religion. In developing the plot and conflicts of the text, Sophocles explores three unique but interconnected themes. Sophocles first considers the role of the individual versus that of the family, then rule by consensus versus that by a monarchy, and finally obligations to religion and tradition versus those to the state. The purpose of this paper is to integrate the relationship between nursing profession with scholarship, praxis, and evidence based practice to improve quality of care for individuals and their respective societies. The Oxford English dictionary defined scholarship as the attainments of a scholar, learning, and erudition in a person (Scholarship, 2016). Scholarship is a noun of academic study or achievement, learning at a higher level. Scholarship in nursing has become an essential part of our professional evolution. Professional nursing practice at all levels is grounded in ethical practice. Essentially, nurses need the constant searching and analysis attitude toward their practice and the care environment. The conceptualization of scholarship in nursing has been seen most times from the point of teaching and research. The master s prepared nurses examine policies and seek evidence for every aspect of practice, thereby disseminating current evidence and identifying gaps where evidence is lacking. Students being prepared for direct care roles will have graduate level content that builds upon an undergraduate foundation in health assessment, pharmacology, and pathophysiology. Having a master prepared graduates with a strong background in these three areas is seen as imperative from the practice perspective (American Association of College of Nursing [AACN], 2011, p. 9).
